[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87779] The document appears to be read-only after the last character by not ahead of it.
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87779 --- Comment #3 from Cor Nouws --- Hi Rohinton, So it looks as if you solved the problem, but do not know how ;) There seems to be some content in the original file, that prevents editing at the very last position... It would be good to check with e.g. the Navigator for (read only)sections, or maybe there is a 'locked' image? If you want to have further support, may I suggest that you first try the user support options listed here? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/community-support/ You may also send me the file - I can have a quick look. I tend to resolve this issue as WorksForMe, but wait a little more.. This seems to be a very clumsy way of going about this when the contents of this dialog could easily be integrated into the sidebar with a drop down list for effect category and (ideally) a listbox for the effects list. Another alternative is to have a single drop down list or listbox listing the most important entries from each category that a user can choose from. When a user doesnt find the effect they want to use, they will click on a 'More...' button at the bottom of the list which would open up the effects dialog and then a user can choose an entry from the list. Once chosen, that entry will now be shown in the condensed list for easy access to the next time the user wants to use it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

This is similar to fdo#87488, since I was trying to make a test document for that. However in this case, the text is stored with different XML elements and so won't necessarily be processed the same way by LibreOffice. My patch for 87488 has no effect on this document. The right-pointing arrow shape itself isn't rendered properly by 4.3.5.2, it displays as a rectangle. This seems to be fixed in Master. The shape is rotated by 90 degrees and the text inside is supposed to be rotated by 270 degrees, so that it is displayed the right way up. The document was created using Word 2010 on Windows by inserting a right-pointing arrow shape, rotating it by 90 degrees, selecting a point inside the shape and typing random text, then finding text direction properties in a menu and selecting 270 degrees. The net effect in Word is to rotate the shape by 90 degrees while displaying the text the right way up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87810] New: In Calc, Opening a .tsv file brings up Writer and opens it as a text file
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87810 Bug ID: 87810 Summary: In Calc, Opening a .tsv file brings up Writer and opens it as a text file Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.5.7.2 release Hardware: x86 (IA32) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Libreoffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: h...@ncsu.edu LibreOffice 3.5.7.2 Build ID: 350m1(Build:2) A spreadsheet .tsv file, if opened in Calc via File -> Open... doesn't come up as a spreadsheet (asking me if I want to use Tab as a field separator.) Instead it starts Writer and I see it as a text file. However, if I open it via opening the Home Folder (getting icons for subdirectories and files) and then clicking on the icon for the .tsv file, it will open as a spreadsheet. Or I can change the file name from .tsv to .csv - and then Calc will open it (asking me if I want to use Tab as a field separator.) This creates extra work to open a .tsv file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

You can see the main list element is being cropped on the right, as well as the options button on the direction line. I think we could easily change the options button from a text button to an image button with an wrench icon.
