[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91285] New: Adding an option in which we can choose which characters to be regarded as part of a single word in spell-checker.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91285 Bug ID: 91285 Summary: Adding an option in which we can choose which characters to be regarded as part of a single word in spell-checker. Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.2.6.3 release Hardware: Other OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: irancplusp...@live.com In Arabic-like languages, e.g. Persian, while substantially needed, there is not any space character that is regarded part of a word, so that, the word can be added as a single word to the spell-checking dictionary. For example, there is no way to add the word سازمان دهنده as a single word to the dictionary. Instead either I have to add two words ( سازمان and دهنده) which is inappropriate or use nowidth breaking character سازماندهنده which forces the user to write some words in an ulgy formation and sometimes, for some words, it is not acceptable. The nonbreaking space character is not regarded as part of a word so سازمان دهنده (now written with nonbreaking space character) is not regarded as a single word and cannot be added as a single word to the spell-checking dictionary. I think there must be an option in which we can choose which characters to be regarded as part of a single word. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I can submit patches on gerrit but would prefer to submit a complete one obviously. The problem is I don't know how to deal pLayout. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90289] FILESAVE: Zoom and Command S
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90289 --- Comment #3 from Chris Jerdonek chris.jerdo...@gmail.com --- This has happened to me several times with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, and it is very annoying. It is annoying because I would sometimes find the document zooming in very far to an unusable state (e.g. 200%), and I had no idea why this was happening until searching Bugzilla. I only knew it happened occasionally when saving, but I never knew it was because I had triggered scrolling prior to saving. I think the Importance should be raised higher than Low because it is not necessarily obvious to the user why the screen is randomly zooming in, and it negatively affects usability. Also, on Mac OS X, scrolling of the document can continue for a second or two after swiping the track pad (i.e. scroll with inertia, which is enabled by default in System Preferences under Accessibility Mouse Trackpad Trackpad Options...), so this issue can occur quite frequently. In other words, you don't need to be saving simultaneously while swiping the track pad. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91293 --- Comment #3 from Joel Madero jmadero@gmail.com --- Ubuntu 15.04 Ubuntu 4.4.2.2 release FWIW - I just inserted a hyperlink without a hitch (and I'm not getting paid for this time :) ) 1) Start impress; 2) Type some text; 3) highlight said text; 4) ctrl + k OR insert - Hyperlink You can also skip typing the text and just: 1) start impress; 2) ctrl + k OR insert - hyperlink type whatever you want, and it'll appear. If those steps don't work for you, please report back with proper reproducible steps, what you see, and what you expect and then mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
