This bug might be a duplicate of
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90614

I opened the form Comptes and had a look at the field Zone Combinee 1
(listfield upper left ...)
Code: SELECT DISTINCT Compte FROM Comptes ORDER BY Compte ASC
Bounded Field: 1
... but there is no bounded field 1, only a field at position 0.

The crash had been fixed by Lionel for LO 4.4.4.
The crash is the bug, but the code for the listfield is wrong, too.

Illustration for the SnapToGrid property of the paragraphs ignored.

I have to correct the description of the issue:

1. Create a new document in MSO 2010 (Traditional Chinese).
2. Modify the page layout as grid without border lines.
3. Modify properties of first few ( but not all ) paragraphs to disable
SnapToGrid.
4. Save the file.
5. Open the file with LibreOffice, seeing that all paragraphs ignores
SnapToGrid property.

Here is bug tracker where one should post with a definite conclusion about a
bug, and with a LO version where it happens.

User questions should be posted on ask.libreoffice.org.
If the answer is something rather simple such as: Insert - Manual Break, please
close this bug as Invalid.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91285] New: Adding an option in which we can choose which characters to be regarded as part of a single word in spell-checker.

2015-05-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91285

Bug ID: 91285
Summary: Adding an option in which we can choose which
characters to be regarded as part of a single word in
spell-checker.
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 4.2.6.3 release
  Hardware: Other
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: irancplusp...@live.com

In Arabic-like languages, e.g. Persian, while substantially needed, there is
not any space character that is regarded part of a word, so that, the word can
be added as a single word to the spell-checking dictionary.

For example, there is no way to add the word سازمان دهنده as a single word to
the dictionary. Instead either I have to add two words (
سازمان and دهنده) which is inappropriate or use nowidth breaking character
سازمان‌دهنده which forces the user to write some words in an ulgy formation
and sometimes, for some words, it is not acceptable.

The nonbreaking space character is not regarded as part of a word so سازمان
دهنده (now written with nonbreaking space character) is not regarded as a
single word and cannot be added as a single word to the spell-checking
dictionary.

I think there must be an option in which we can choose which characters to be
regarded as part of a single word.

For the moment I must wait the end of the build since I've updated my local
repo.

I can submit patches on gerrit but would prefer to submit a complete one
obviously.
The problem is I don't know how to deal pLayout. It seems there are at least
2 ways:
- remove pLayout = 0 but got the error I indicated and don't know how to keep
on (perhaps
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/tool-for-chasing-elusive-VclPtr-lt-gt-crashers-td4148531.html
?)
- replace pLayout = 0 by pLayout.disposeAndClear() but it fails when
opening Basic dialog (not at then closing) with even more live children
destroyed than when I began.

In brief, I don't think I can make it so if you've got some time...

One more point as to why this is annoying:

There doesn't seem to be a way to undo and return to the user's previous zoom
setting. For example, the user might have forgotten if they were configured to
Page Width, Optimal View, 100%, etc, and so will have to experiment with
different zoom settings to restore to what they think is the previous view
setting.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91291] New: EDITING: Crash when moving rtl text with footnote with continuation onto the next page

2015-05-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91291

Bug ID: 91291
Summary: EDITING: Crash when moving rtl text with footnote
with continuation onto the next page
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 4.4.3.2 rc
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: gordon1dr...@yahoo.com

test document and backtrace

I am not familiar with rtl setup so I do not know if this is how it is actually
used.

1. New Text Document.
2. Tools → Options → Language Settings → Languages → Default Languages for
Documents → check “Complex text layout” and select “Persian” from drop-down and
check “For the current document only” and OK.
3. Ctrl + Shift + D or Ctrl + Right Shift to change to Right to Left entry.
4. Format Page → Footnote tab, toggle Footnote Area to “Maximum footnote
height” and 2 cm and OK.
5. Tools → Footnotes/Endnotes → Footnotes tab → Continuation Notice, type “...”
in start and end and OK.
6. Enter enough paragraphs so that cursor is near the end of the page but with
enough room for a footnote.
7. Type “test”.
8. Insert → Footnote/Endnote and OK default.
9. With cursor in footnote, Ctrl + Shift + D or Ctrl + Right Shift to change to
Right to Left entry.
10. Type enough text so that the footnote continues onto the next page. And
give it an extra Enter for good measure.
Note:
The continuation number is shown twice on the second page which is another bug.
11. Place cursor on first page in a paragraph before “test” and Enter until
“test” moves onto the next page.
Result:
Crash.

After opening LO, you may need to uncheck Tools → Options → Language Settings
→ Languages → Default Languages for Documents → Complex text layout.

2015-05-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91291

--- Comment #1 from Gordo gordon1dr...@yahoo.com ---
The footnote does not need to be spread over two pages for the crash to happen.
As long as there are at least two lines in the footnote and the Continuation
Notice has something in it--the page does not even need to be set for Maximum
footnote height--then LO will crash when moving the text with footnote onto
the next page.

I can confirm that this problem is in 4.3.7.2 (linux 64bit), except that step 7
shows the background color is set to 'white' rather than the step 3 color.

Also I can not reproduce this with ODT format, it seems DOCX specific.

Reproducible.

The attachment had 11 pages for me. I adjusted it to avoid page 11 because
that is the same when read either way.

The second part of the footnote now has two numbers, one at the beginning and
one at the end of the footnote.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90289] FILESAVE: Zoom and Command S

2015-05-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90289

--- Comment #3 from Chris Jerdonek chris.jerdo...@gmail.com ---
This has happened to me several times with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, and it is
very annoying.

It is annoying because I would sometimes find the document zooming in very far
to an unusable state (e.g. 200%), and I had no idea why this was happening
until searching Bugzilla. I only knew it happened occasionally when saving,
but I never knew it was because I had triggered scrolling prior to saving.

I think the Importance should be raised higher than Low because it is not
necessarily obvious to the user why the screen is randomly zooming in, and it
negatively affects usability.

Also, on Mac OS X, scrolling of the document can continue for a second or two
after swiping the track pad (i.e. scroll with inertia, which is enabled by
default in System Preferences under Accessibility Mouse Trackpad
Trackpad Options...), so this issue can occur quite frequently. In other
words, you don't need to be saving simultaneously while swiping the track pad.

Hi,

LibreOffice Writer in Debian version 1:4.4.3-1 does not display Traditional
Chinese variant 骨 (U+9AA8) when using Noto Sans CJK TC Regular and the
language text is set to Chinese (traditional). It is, however, display
Traditional Chinese variant of 骨 (U+9AA8) when using Noto Sans CJK TC Regular
and the language text is set to (none).

The correct glyph of 骨 (U+9AA8) in Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese
is described in [0]. When using font Noto Sans CJK TC Regular from
NotoSansCJK.ttc downloaded from [1], and the language text at the bottom center
is set to None (do not check spelling), the Traditional Chinese variant of 骨
(U+9AA8) is displayed correctly. The problem happens when I change the language
text to Chinese (traditional). In this configuration, the Simplified Chinese
variant of 骨 (U+9AA8) is displayed.

Strange: same problem as in bug report 82661 which is fixed in 4.4.1.
I reproduce the problem with the attachment in LO 4.4.4.0.0+ and LO
5.0.0.0.alpha1+ both built at home under Ubuntu 15.04 x86-64, but not if I
create a new paragraph style from scratch.

Setting as NEW.
@Miklos: this one may be interesting for you compared to bug 82661.

Best regards. JBF

If it is, then it seems from Lionel's comments in that bug report that it ia a
hsqldb problem, not much we can do about that I suspect.

if this is a DUP of bug 63566, it potentially means that embedded hsqldb 1.8
can not be relied upon to handle timestamps accurately, if it is dependent on
the distrib providing an uptodate java-tz package.

To identify these lines I wrote:

 git grep -n -E -e '^::[a-zA-Z0-9_]*\(' -- '*.cxx'

(It's pretty basic since git-grep doesn't support multiline patterns and
finding function prototype with pattern is pretty hard.)

I found like 25 lines with that and will change them according to your example.

   Version: 4.4.3.2 rc
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: wss9...@gmail.com

With a spreadsheet with 57080 rows and 15 columns, I encountered a Fatal error
more than once while trying to Search and Replace (Replace All) within
selection (selected the entire column) using regular expressions, searching for
^. and replacing with . This was to get rid of the leading apostrophe in a
date column of data imported from a tab separated file.
The error occurring seemed to be some sort of memory allocation issue.
This is a on a Windows 7 64bit machine with 12GB of RAM.

Also in attempting to format that same column to a custom date of -DD
I got an error that said something about osl thread create failed.

It also failed once when I got the date to convert, but then did a left justify
on the column.

Upon further (free) investigation I have identified the bug. Steps below:

1) start impress;
2) insert a hyperlink (ctrl + k)
3) Save file as pptx
4) Close file;
5) Open file

Observed: Link is no longer there;
Expected: Link is maintained

Note: PPT works fine (so to the original reporter, I suggest saving as a ppt
instead of a pptx)

@Reporter - we do not give time estimates, a volunteer will have to voluntarily
resolve the bug (or like I said, you can pay for support which will get a
company to fix it)

I am doing further regression analysis to find out if it's a regression.

--- Comment #9 from Stan stanhoff...@mindspring.com ---
I have just verified that in 4.4.3, keyboard switching in CALC is correct on
the iMac and doesn't work on the MacBook Air. So no difference between 4.4.2
and 4.4.3--the difference is on the machine.

What could it be about the MacBook Air to make the behavior different?

Now a unique id for each page and each shape is generated through the
UnoInterfaceToUniqueIdentifierMapper class.

This class is the same used for generating a unique identifier for
pages
and shapes when a presentation is saved in odp format.
No change to the presentation engine script has been needed.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91293] New: Can't create links in Impress!

2015-05-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91293

Bug ID: 91293
Summary: Can't create links in Impress!
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: tkro...@gmail.com

I think it's pretty weird that Impress can't do something basic like insert a
link into a slideshow. I'm saving this as a *.pptx file (PowerPoint) for job
reasons and, if I can't do this, I'm basically losing money. I'm sure you get
the picture. It's all on the latest versions.

--- Comment #1 from Joel Madero jmadero@gmail.com ---
Please provide reproducible stepsthere is nothing here that tells us what
you have tried.

Also - if you're using LibreOffice in an office setting where you are making
money...I highly recommend getting paid support and contributing back to the
community: http://www.documentfoundation.org/certification/developers/

Marking as NEEDINFO, once you provide reproducible steps of what you have
tried, please set it to UNCONFIRMED.

If you are just not sure *how* to insert a hyperlink - I suggest asking on the
user forum as that's a user question (and not a bug report).

Thanks for your understanding.

2015-05-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon

--- Comment #3 from Joel Madero jmadero@gmail.com ---
Ubuntu 15.04
Ubuntu 4.4.2.2 release

FWIW - I just inserted a hyperlink without a hitch (and I'm not getting paid
for this time :) )

1) Start impress;
2) Type some text;
3) highlight said text;
4) ctrl + k OR insert - Hyperlink

You can also skip typing the text and just:

1) start impress;
2) ctrl + k OR insert - hyperlink

type whatever you want, and it'll appear.

If those steps don't work for you, please report back with proper reproducible
steps, what you see, and what you expect and then mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED.
