There should be all available styles and also possibility to add custom citation styles. Sometimes some schools etc will require their very own citation style. Then it should be possible. Citation style means both: citating in text and at the end of document - bibliography. Here are good examples with images how it is solved in MS Word - http://www.fgcu.edu/support/office2007/Word/references.asp - added as backup (PDF) also here. This might mean that also creating a bit more comfortable interface using bibliography database and both inserting citation with chosen style but also bibliography itself. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72442] UI: When I try to add a hyperlink to a bookmark in the same document, the list with bookmarks closes itself
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72442 --- Comment #7 from Gordo gordon1dr...@yahoo.com --- Created attachment 115922 -- https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=115922action=edit test document I was looking at something else which reminded me of this bug. I can reproduce it. 1. Open attached document. 2. Select “test1” and Insert → Hyperlink → Document. 3. Because keeping the text is currently broken, click on Reset so the text appears in Further Settings → Text. 4. Click on Target in Document button. 5. Have to be quick here to catch it. In Target in Document window, expand Bookmarks either with the plus sign or arrow or double click. Result: List opens and closes again. 6. Double click test1 and click on OK in Hyperlink window. 7. Repeat steps 2 through 5 with each of the “test” + number. If you wait a bit after step 4 with the mouse over the Target in Document window then you will see a flicker as the window refreshes. Opening Bookmarks after that happens results in the list staying open without it closing. If nothing happens then to get it in a state in which will reset it, collapse the Bookmark list in the Target in Document window, select Tables, Close that window, and then Close the Hyperlink window. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91556] New: FEATURE REQUEST: reset scale factor with quick and easy way
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91556 Bug ID: 91556 Summary: FEATURE REQUEST: reset scale factor with quick and easy way Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.0.0.0.beta1 Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: edmund.laugas...@gmail.com Created attachment 115924 -- https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=115924action=edit impossible to switch back scale factor from 400% Using 64-bit Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.1 with 4.0.4-040004-generic kernel LibreOffice version: 5.0.0.0.beta1 Build ID: 0a16c3dda4150008d9be6f24cbd15ac198d116d3 Locale: et-EE (et_EE.UTF-8) When accidentally change scale factor too high, there is no way to switch it quickly back to normal. I would propose to make an opportunity to quickly reset the UI scale factor. Visible button and possibly also shortcut key. Currently the only quick workaround seems to be delete user profile (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#User_profile_location) when LibreOffice is closed. This is not good as also other settings will be lost. In addition I would propose to add dynamically feedback in realtime of scale factor. This gives also understanding, which factor would be suitable. But certainly we cannot avoid also bad behaviour when somebody changes scale factor too high intentionally. E.g. in school it would impossible to continue the work and what teacher can do? Searching and deleting user profile would not be an easy task even for teachers who teach informatics but never needed to delete LibreOffice profile. There could be written a script to do that but this would be a dirty hack but not solution. Yes - we can configure profile as we wanted, make backup and write script, which will restore the previously configured profile. Such workaround requires also frequent backupped user profile renewing as renewing LibreOffice might bring changes also to user profile. So the best way would be the UI scale factor reset switch. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
