[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90452] Breeze icons poorly visible in Start Center
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90452 --- Comment #20 from Pedro --- (In reply to andreas_k from comment #18) > If the new Branding is green than I'd prefer white icons (breeze dark icon > color). But my wish would be to use the color of the menue bar (gray in this > example) for the side bar background, than I can use the colored icons. I think this is missing the whole point of an icon. The icon is supposed to be a unique image that you can easily associate with the task you want to perform. If all icons use the same colour and they are similar then you need to read the icon label which makes the icons useless. Why is it not possible to use the beautiful icons created specifically for LibreOffice? https://kdeonlinux.wordpress.com/2015/03/25/breeze-love-libre-office/ If this is not possible then I think the theme should use the default icons for the Start Center. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

All is fine * After adding other elements and much editing, ALL previously correct objects "suddenly" display a white background to the text. * It's not obvious what causes it or when, but once it occurs I can't find a way to correct it. It happens with all the background types - color, hatching, gradient and bitmap. * The issue seems to lie with the document itself because copy/pasting any of the objects into a new document "fixes" the problem, and copying a good object into the problem document re-introduces the issue. I raised Ask Question 51080 but have had no solutions, so I'm wondering if this is perhaps a bug? It's happened with at least a couple of Draw documents. Of course I may be missing some setting or other technique to fix? Just spotted Bug 88295 which seems to be the same thing happening with Impress. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91730] New: footnote entry with keyboard absent
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91730 Bug ID: 91730 Summary: footnote entry with keyboard absent Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.3.7.2 rc Hardware: Other OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: r...@impulse.net Formatting There is no keyboard shortcut for generating footnotes. One has to stop, grab the mouse, go up to Insert, go down to footnote/endnote and then click to get the window to open and then, yet more, click to create the space for the footnote in the document. Very tedious and unnecessary. I used Open Office for many years on my laptop with XP. It had a keyboard method for inserting footnotes that was easy to use. I now have a Mac. I write many documents that are heavily footnoted, sometimes in the hundreds. Having to stop and peck with the mouse rather than zip zip on the keyboard to create a footnote is a major inconvenience. I simply can't update the name of a series in a chart inserted in Writer. I'm attaching the problematic file. Steps: 1) Open the attached ODT file. 2) Activate the first chart (titled 313 K). 3) Enter into edit data mode through "Right click" -> "Data table". 4) Try to modify the name of the last series (the blue one) Result: The final name of the series always ends with "313.15 K Li (1981)", no matter what. Using 5.0 on Linux and using the native OS picker, if you do a file > open, it's not firing in a new thread and the canvas in the background is blocked from repaints as the dialog is moved around. If you configure LO to use the native file picker, this symptom is not seen and the dialog can be moved and the canvas repaints. So in some way these two dialogs are being fired differently. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91726 Bug ID: 91726 Summary: AutoFormat: Crash when using an existing name for a new preset Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.3.2 rc Hardware: x86 (IA32) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: fors...@mailbox.org Follow these steps: 1. Open Calc 2. Highlight The cells from A1 to D4 3. Go the Format - AutoFormat 4. Click "add" and enter an already existing name like "Grün" (German LibreOffice) or "Green" (English LibreOffice) 5. LibreOffice will crash. Sometimes the recovery dialogue can save the document but sometimes LibreOffice will just vanish and all progress is lost. However LibreOffice (English + German!) will not crash when choosing the name "Standard" which is a pre-existing preset only in German LibreOffice. Instead an error message appears telling you that an illegal name was entered. Please extend this check to all preset names and add an option to overwrite the currently existing preset. (I might add that the AutoFormat dialogue is also very confusing. It doesn't tell about the 4x4 requirement for creating a new preset and users have to guess or check the LibreOffice wiki. The space for the preset names is not wide enough with LibreOffice set to German and when switching languages in LibreOffice your preset will be deleted if there is already a preset with the same name in the new language.)
