I also think we should split the current report in different sub-issues... I mean: #1- presenter console not shown #2- crash after advancing trough slideshow #3- loss of focus in dual monitor after exiting the slideshow issue #1 has always been constant even after Christian committ which was supposed to address this side of the bug, while #2 and #3 varied among different daily builds so I suspect it's not a single bug causing all the trouble -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61832 --- Comment #5 from haim kilov --- I respectfully disagree with the comment by Joel. The (most important) purpose of recording changes is to demonstrate these changes to other authors/editors/proofreaders of the file. If a file has only a single author/editor/proofreader then he will most probably make the changes without explicitly showing them. When the changes are explicitly shown, it is important to demonstrate to everyone that the corrections are, well, correct. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92471] FILESAVE: New DOCX export of text with highlighting works not for all colors
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92471 --- Comment #5 from Zolnai Tamás --- Hi, MSO Highlighting attribute allows only 15 colors which means LO Highlighting needs to be converted to these colors during export. Other options is to use Shading setting as Beluga wrote. You can find more information about MSO highlighting / shading color selection here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/hub/archive/2011/04/05/how-to-select-more-highlight-colors-in-word.aspx On the other hand as I see this conversion can be better. I will check how we can improve the conversion. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 61430] Spellchecker Should Accept (Not Flag) variations based on "apostrophe S" ('s)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61430 --- Comment #5 from Joel Madero --- @Kumara - the more I think about this the harder it is to implement. In particular the possessive stuff: For instance, what if someone adds a word that is not a noun, so there is no possessive element, then they want to write that word in plural but accidentally type 's instead of just an "s" - spell check doesn't show this as wrong despite it clearly being wrong. Can you suggest how we might handle situations like this? I think it could lead to some relatively bad problems with spell check. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 89554] EDITING: Dragging table to other page causes crash
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89554 --- Comment #3 from Gordo --- Created attachment 117046 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=117046&action=edit backtrace It does freeze for a little bit and then it is possible to click on things but they do not work. Going into print preview and coming back out and everything works. Does crash on close. I narrowed the problem down to dragging a table over a page break with a different page style. I thought that two page view might have been involved but the same happens in singe page view. 1. New Text Document. 2. Enter some empty paragraphs. 3. Insert -> Manual Break -> select style First page or Index and OK. 4. On first page, Insert table. 5. Select table and drag with mouse to second page. Result: Hangs for about 10 - 20 seconds and then application mostly unresponsive. Also, something interesting is that dragging a table results in the new table having the same name. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92543] New: insert formulas in other languages

So I would like the ability to use a symbol to tell to calc that I'm using english. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92542] New: TABLE cell has precedence over bibliography on right-click pop-up menu
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92542 Bug ID: 92542 Summary: TABLE cell has precedence over bibliography on right-click pop-up menu Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.4.3 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: dragoman...@hotmail.it Duplicate?: Couldn't find a solution with google's help. Here in Bugzilla, I searched for: righ-click cell index/table popup menu cell index/table without success Preliminaries: Create some text with some references (bibliography entries). Then create a table with some cells and inside a cell insert a bibliography. (Cursor on protected areas is enabled) Problem: A right-click on the bibliography only pops up the cell menu and I cannot find an alternative way for updating the bibliography after changes. Furthermore, any attempt to select the bibliography results in selecting the whole cell content. Expected Behaviour: Pop up only the bibliography menu (for editing, updating, deleting ...) or both menus. Or add the options in the top bar menus. Trivia: I am writing a Phd plan (thus the bibliography) in a .docx form (provided by the university) that uses tables. The plan was supposed to be written inside a cell and i was trying to keep the bibliography together with the plan inside the same cell, that's how i encountered the problem. Bad Workarounds: Put the bibliography by itself on a separate cell. Then, to update, the cell can be deleted and the bibliography created again without affecting other parts. For this to work the bibliography must be unprotected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Again, no file in the backup area: ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/backup/ Yet this time it said it recovered the file correctly - and it does look good, only losing perhaps 5 minutes of editing. Note that this happened with the eLAIX extension removed, so that can't be the culprit. Again, apport was running while LO had frozen, so I assumed it reported the bug. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92151] EDITING: Crash while editing text, and lost 20 mins of work
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92151 --- Comment #15 from Luke Kendall --- It just happened again. This time I lost an hour and a half of work. (Which is weird: I really thought I was saving, manually, much more frequently because I'm now worried about losing work. Could I have been that focused on the work? I suppose it's possible.) It was with version 4.4.4.3 and apport submitted a bug automatically - so I doubt that I need to do a fresh one for 4.4.4.3 this time, right? Some other info... While apport was running, I did an ls on the backup directory, and noticed there was no backup file for the doc I was editing - even though when I'd checked earlier, there was, and even though LO had been interrupting me every 10 mins with the slow autosave. Again, I got three errors during the "recovery": /home/luke/.config/libreoffice/4/user/backup/WildThing-w.cover-bigtext.odt_0.odt does not exist. /home/luke/.config/libreoffice/4/user/backup/WildThing-w.cover-bigtext.odt_0.odt does not exist. Object not accessible. The object cannot be accessed due to insufficient user rights. Once again, it gave a yellow tick for the document in question and misinformed me when it said that it would autosave the documents in /home/luke: after I recovered the file, there was no such file saved there. And when I did a Save in LO instead of saving it in /home/luke (as promised by the message), the file that it updated was the one in my working directory. This time, though, I had moved the file aside first: -rw-rw 1 luke kendall 582189 Jul 4 22:34 WildThing-w.cover-bigtext.odt -rw-rw 1 luke kendall 584508 Jul 4 21:15 WildThing-w.cover-bigtext.odt-aside Despite the file I had moved aside being larger, I could see no differences between the two files. I did a "Compare" of the two documents, but I could see no way to detect the result of the comparison. It occurs to me that I have the eLAIX installed. I have now removed that and I will see how I go. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 67026] Other: Limitations in Calc precision need to be documented
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67026 --- Comment #13 from Andrew --- I'm going back on my high horse so please bear with me, there is a reason. The fact that a multiplication or a division can lead to errors in rounding is a well known problem and requires the use of such as functions as ROUND(). My problem is that, under certain circumstances, addition and subtraction bring in rounding errors. I understand that numbers are saved in floating point and that Excel has the same problem but if cell A1 is loaded with a number with limited decimals (say 15,02) and cell B1 has a value of 10,02 I should expect to always get A1+B1=25.04 and not 25.039. My main beef is that both numbers are inputed and not calculated (so I KNOW they have ONLY two decimal places) and thus output should be ALWAYS on two decimal places. There is something that would need to be done to how inputed numbers are memorized, I realize that it will never happen because it would be a major piece of work (and I no longer have the necessary programming skills). But, please, no answers such as the one I received "Excel does it too": if somebody else does something wrong that doesn't justify me repeating the same mistake! However I would really like to see a more precise piece of documentation which explains exactly under which conditions does an addition or subtraction of numbers inputed with a fixed number of decimals give a result that is not equally exact. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
