(file connectivity/source/commontools/dbtools.cxx) it uses that parameter (and not only _rValue.isSigned()) to decide what to call on _xParams 2) the same for dbaccess::OCacheSet::setParameter (file dbaccess/source/core/api/CacheSet.cxx) 3) the class/struct dbaccess::SelectColumnDescription needs an extra field bSigned, which needs to be populated in dbaccess::getColumnPositions (file dbaccess/source/core/api/KeySet.cxx) and possibly other places This may need to add a new property isSigned to table and query columns, and actually change the service com::sun::star::sdbcx::Column to include that new property. This part makes this work *completely* not introductory. Contact me if you are interested in doing it. 4) dbaccess::OKeySet::executeUpdate (and possibly other places) use that new field to provide the isSigned parameter of dbaccess::OCacheSet::setParameter -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92603] New: Make it easier to select objects behind transparent text frames
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92603 Bug ID: 92603 Summary: Make it easier to select objects behind transparent text frames Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: erw...@alumni.beloit.edu I often have trouble because I need to work with items, such as colored background bars, icons, etc. behind transparent text frames. I don't know how common this is. I can sometimes select an object entirely behind one of the text frames, sometimes not. I can sometimes select objects where all but a thin sliver is behind one or another of two text frames, sometimes not. One solution would be an extra selection tool. Another solution would be an easier way to move the text frame, work on the object, and then replace the text frame. As it is it can be hard to restore the right alignment after moving the text frame. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 79262] PDF: Export selection should respect slide selection and not object selection
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79262 Beluga todven...@suomi24.fi changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|NEW Summary|PDF: Export a selecte pages |PDF: Export selection |of a presentation, the |should respect slide |software export all pages. |selection and not object ||selection --- Comment #5 from Beluga todven...@suomi24.fi --- (In reply to Jean-Baptiste Faure from comment #4) Not sure if selection in pdf export dialog means what you think. If you select an object in a slide and export as pdf choosing selection, then you get a pdf document containing only the object you selected. For me the choice selection is intended to work the same way it works for graphic export. Does somebody can confirm or infirm my thought ? Exporting a list of selected slides (choice #2) works well in LO 5.0 branch. Best regards. JBF Gosh, you are right! If I select an object before PDF export, the Selection export option correctly exports only the slide with the selected object. Yet, that is highly unintuitive in the context! I think a use case of ctrl-clicking a selection of slides in the Slide Pane would be quite common. Compare this to ctrl-clicking objects in multiple slides: it is impossible! So in effect selecting an object and exporting as PDF Selection is the same as saying you want to export a single slide with the object. It is redundant. Yet another inconsistency: if we select an object, go to File - Export... tick selection in the file dialog and select PDF as the file type, the regular PDF export dialog appears. We then would have to again select Selection, otherwise it produces a PDF with all the pages (the default option). https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92529 --- Comment #4 from Stephan Bergmann sberg...@redhat.com --- (In reply to Michael Meeks from comment #3) Fair cop - so I'l easy-hack-ize this. The task would be (I guess) to catch and unwind commitChanges() calls during startup that are writing redundant data, and also (ideally) to defer config write-back until after startup has completed - my hope being that we call an explicit flush_() that short-circuits that timeout if we exit. Keep it simple. First, find out what actually triggers those four writes, and whether they are during startup or shutdown or inbetween. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92604] New: Allow Draw users to select anchor points to snap to grid
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92604 Bug ID: 92604 Summary: Allow Draw users to select anchor points to snap to grid Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: erw...@alumni.beloit.edu Right now, snap to grid works on any corner of an object or selection. It can be a pain trying to align an object to the grid if the size of the object doesn't match the interval-measurements of the grid. I often have this problem with text frames, and accidentally align the wrong corner to the grid, such as the upper right corner when I'm trying to align the upper left corner. I sometimes have to rely on the position size functions, which allow me to choose the anchor point and type in the proper coordinates. I think it would help to be able to choose anchor points for both snap-to-grid and position size. However, it could sometimes be necessary, for some users, to use different anchor points for two objects, or to use more than one anchor point for snap-to-grid, unlike position size. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92605] New: Format for editing Time does not match the format assigned to a cell.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92605 Bug ID: 92605 Summary: Format for editing Time does not match the format assigned to a cell. Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.4.3 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: r...@jwcca.com When double clicking on a cell to edit a time value, the input format should match the format assigned by the user to the cell. For example, a cell has been assigned a standard format of 13:37, which is the 24 hour military format, HH:MM. However the cell is displayed for editing in the full 12 hour format HH:MM:SS xM where x may be either A or P. If the column width is set to fit the HH:MM, the edit forces a second line containing the seconds and the AM/PM. An the original value of 14:00 is displayed for editing as: 02:00: on line 1 00 AMon line 2 and the user is forced to not only change the time value from 00 to 30 but also drop down a line and change AM to PM to get the desired result of 14:30. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92603] Make it easier to select objects behind transparent text frames
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92603 Regina Henschel rb.hensc...@t-online.de changed: What|Removed |Added CC||rb.hensc...@t-online.de --- Comment #4 from Regina Henschel rb.hensc...@t-online.de --- You can set Draw so, that you click through the transparent area of a text box. A click in the free area will hit the object behind the text box and a click on the text will hit the text box. That is the option Select Text Area Only from the toolbar Options or the option Only text area selected from Tools Options Draw General. If you have selected the text box and you want an object behind the text box, simple Alt-Click the object and it is selected and you can work on it. That works with other objects too. First select the front object, then Alt-click to get the back object. If you have a lot of objects, you should consider to use layers to separate them, for a garden plan for example a layer for the patches and garden paths, another layer for the plants, and a third layer for labels. To get easier access, you can lock a layer; in that mode no objects from that layer can be selected. That reduces the amount of click-able objects. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 91340] Multiple selection with text objects should not allow text editing inside one object
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91340 --- Comment #4 from MarjaE erw...@alumni.beloit.edu --- Disagree. Users should be able to edit text. It is a nightmare to have to individually edit each text frame. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92603] Make it easier to select objects behind transparent text frames

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92608 Bug ID: 92608 Summary: Select All in Draw does not consistently allow editing all text in Draw Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: erw...@alumni.beloit.edu I wanted to remove all underlines from the text in a draw document. I tried select all and various text options, with inconsistent results. I managed to delete the underlines and change the font on one page. I haven't been able to reproduce this on the other pages, or reverse this on the one page, so I now have a total mess. I also have a mess with colors, other formatting, etc... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
