[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 93690] New: toggling into read-only mode with ctrl-shift-m does not put focus on document
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93690 Bug ID: 93690 Summary: toggling into read-only mode with ctrl-shift-m does not put focus on document Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.0.0.5 release Hardware: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: j...@vandenoever.info When pressing ctrl-shift-m in edit mode, read-only mode is enabled. In this mode, buttons like page-up, page-down, or going back to edit mode (ctrl-shift-m) do not work initially. They only work after the user has clicked in the document. It would be good to give the document focus automatically when entering read-only mode. The same behaviour applies when entering read-only mode via the toolbar button or the entry in the 'edit' menu. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.0.1.2 rc Hardware: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: graphics stack Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: michael.me...@collabora.com The VCL backend vcl/inc/salframe.hxx has an (apparently almost entirely unused) 'Sync' method. Callers of that could call Flush instead which is almost as good (and a duplicate on windows). We should check if in fact Sync() is used outside of the outdevgrind tool (which can use flush instead). Best to remove the method and see what happens =) // flush output buffer, wait till outstanding operations are done virtual voidSync() = 0; If we need it back we can add a parameter to Flush(... bool bWait = false); or something which is a nicer API anyhow. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 93691] New: Update external links does not update cells containing dates and times
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93691 Bug ID: 93691 Summary: Update external links does not update cells containing dates and times Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.5.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: helpdesk@national.shitposting.agency Created attachment 118207 -- https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=118207action=edit zip archive containing two .ods files Overview: It is possible to reference cells in another document. When opening a file that contains such references they can be manually or automatically updated. However, in my case updating only works for simple text data, and silently fails for things like dates and times. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Create two empty ODS files. 2) In file A, add references to a couple of cells from file B. Save close. 3) Open file B, change the content of those cells in file B - fill them with strings, numbers, dates and times. Save. 4) Open file A again. You will be asked if external files should be updated (depending on your settings). Afterwards, all fields will show the correct values. Save close. 5) Go back to file B, change the content, save. 6) Open file A again. Only simple text and numbers will be updated, but not dates and times. Those are still the old values. Actual Results: Fields with date and time keep their old, outdated values. Expected Results: Everything should be updated. The attachment contains two files that were produced after step 4), with A = test-references.ods and B = test-data.ods. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 93669] Problem with printing multi-sided documents via Fax-Printer
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93669 --- Comment #3 from Michael michael.kair...@web.de --- There's no fax-printing problem when I export my two-sided helloworld.odt to a PDF-File. It works also for a multi-sided wordpad- or notepad-document. My Win7 is up-to-date (registered for Win10 but not upgraded yet). In the Issue 122984 of Apache OpenOffice Bugzilla (see my previous link) the same procedure was discussed. Please read the last comments of Armin Le Grand. He wrote that a PrintJob for every single page caused this behaviour. Maybe it's a PrintJob-Problem with the MS Shared Fax Driver on Windows 7, but I seems to be fixable. The OpenOffice Target Milestone was 4.2.0, but it was never released. Attached the corrupted tiff file created by MS Fax printer - see Comment 2. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 93464] Line Chart Unable to refresh chart graphics after updating data table
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93464 --- Comment #2 from Navdeep Singh Sidhu navdeepsingh.sidh...@gmail.com --- (In reply to sophie from comment #1) Hi Navdeep, thanks for your feedback. Could you provide a sample document with the chart and a step by step of what you did to delete the datas so we can reproduce exactly the same process you followed. For the second defect you experienced (copy/past corrupted the chart) please open an other bug with the sample and steps to reproduce the behaviour. For importing data from an xls sheet, ask for help on the users@list here http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/community-support/ Set as needinfo - Sophie As i was figuring out the way to solve problem, it looks like using Ctrl+C Ctrl+V , duplicated the chart in same drawing area (i suppose it has to create new drawing area with chart). That created two overlapped charts in same area but when i try to edit data, changes were getting applied to the chart in back.
