Which bug? the crash or the %PERCENT%?
Was it with a brand new LO profile (see
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows)?

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I don't reproduce this.

This is probably another bug. If it is reproducible, please create new bug and

So works LO 5 as expected or not - comment 5 ? I've tested with new empty sheet

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66518] Files locked on NFS. No lock file, no success moving or renaming

2015-09-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66518

The bug report i just filed (linked in the above comment) might be marked as
duplicate, so here's the info i wrote:

Trying to load a file on a NFS volume results in an error, where i am prompted
to either edit the file read-only (which results in more errors) or edit a copy
of the file.

Trying to save the file results in various errors, mostly involving locks on
the file being saved.

In the following examples, my NFS server is running Linux Slackware 14.1 and is
mounted from the client as /net/deimos - each client (a PC running Linux Mint
and a guest OSX on the same machine under VirtualBox, using bridged networking)
has a symlink 'deimos' in the home directory pointing to /net/deimos/home/user
- so that ~/deimos points to the user's home account on the server.

Attempting to load a file on a NFS volume (linux mint client, linux slackware
server) results in:

Document file 'test.ods' is locked for editing by:
Unknown User
Open document read-only or open a copy of the document for editing.

Attempting to load a file on a NFS volume (osx client, linux slackware server)
seems to work fine.

Attempting to save to a file on a NFS volume (linux mint client, linux
slackware server) results in:

Error saving the document Untitled1:
Error during shared access to /home/user/deimos/test.xls.

Attempting to save to a file on a NFS volume (osx client, linux slackware
server) results in:

Error saving the document test.otd:
/net/deimos/home/user/temp/test.odt does not exist.

It is also worth noting that LibreOffice is the *ONLY* software which gives me
this problem.

On testing this with LibreOffice 5.0.1.2 this issue doesn't appear anymore. It
looks like the initialization process of LibreOffice got changed as it waits
now until all ressources (like an external image) got loaded. This behavior
fixes this bug but causes that too heavyweight ressources can cause LibreOffice
to hang for a while.

Summary: Very slow running BASIC macros on V5
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: BASIC
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: s.p...@mac.com

I have macros that operate fine but are considerably slower on V5 than V4.
They basically configure paragraph, char and page styles as well as search
through a document formatting it.
If you require the macros let me know.
Also is it possible when running a macro to turn off display update ie
reformatting of the document until after the macro has run.

PS great software

mounted from the client as /net/deimos - each client (a PC running Linux Mint
and a guest OSX on the same machine under VirtualBox, using bridged networking)
has a symlink 'deimos' in the home directory pointing to /net/deimos/home/user

No. The usual procedure (excel, gnumeric, google doc and other venerable
spreadsheet programs) is to maintain all references (including those of the
charts) the same when copying a sheet.

Furthermore, I see no use in changing references except creating all sorts of
inconsistencies as that of "last sheet". References are to be kept.

Regards.

I do test with a spreadsheet with data and new problem found: in Step 4: Error
saving the document spreadshet_test: Wrong parameter. The operation was started
under an invalid parameter.
But after Step 5: the message really comes "do you want to save
spreadsheet_test.ods?"

2015-09-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94150

Bug ID: 94150
Summary: Selecting text does not work consistent
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.0.1.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: sworddrag...@aol.com

In Writer if I'm going to the menu bar -> Help -> "About LibreOffice" I'm
noticing if I'm selecting text from the middle of a letter to the right the
initial letter gets also selected but if I'm doing this to the left it doesn't
get selected anymore. This behavior here works also different from the document
as the selected initial letter seems to depend if more than 50% of it would get
selected and it works consistent for both directions.

Hi @laurence, thanks for reporting.

This report system has English as language.

I think your issue are the parenthesis in the text, they are part of the
regular expression, so you need to escape it.
Try: NB.SI(B2:B17;"Pas intéressé\(e\) du tout")

If you are not used to regular expressions, you can disable it in:
Menu/Tools/LibreOffice calc/Calculate.

To know more about it search in the help for "regular expressions"

I think not a bug, please if you are not agree reopen it.

There is a Mailing List localized in French to ask.

 Component: Calc

In a full width spreadsheet with about 50 rows, in sheet number 9, the formula
"if(count(range-ONE ROW)> 20, "", if(sum(range-ONE ROW)>0,sum(range-ONE
ROW),""))". The array is C4:AMC47.
The range is from the column of interest to the end of the row: c3:amc3, then
d3:amc3, for example.
Results within a row are good for a while and then the sum(range) is displayed.
In the 41th row of calculations (Row 44), the if(sum(range)> 20,"" ... fails in
column C from the beginning.
The next instance of failure is in column BH, rows 29 and 46. The test
continues to work in the other rows until column BX when row 22 fails. The
next failure is in column CC row 37, then column CF row 39. And column CO row
31, etc.
In tabular form:

It can be hard to compare colors in LibreOffice to check that objects which
should have the same color do have the same color, especially when some of
these objects are in different groups.

I think a tool to check the color at any one position without having to go into
groups would be useful.

The behaviour persists. Can't change the background colour of the 'ODD' style
when applied using conditional formatting. However I can change the number
format.

If I edit number format in the 'ODD' style, then I can reproduce the behaviour
I've observed on 4.3.7.2. I reckon you didn't change the number formatting

accessible-event listener: soffice-events.py

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch the accessible event listener in a terminal
2. Open the attached test case

Expected result: Calc wouldn't crash.
Actual result: Calc crashes fairly often.

There seems to be a timing issue. In terms of real-world use, if you launch the
document with an assistive technology like Orca running and you do not press
any arrow keys immediately, Calc doesn't crash. As a result, the event listener
is synthesizing several up and down arrow press and releases as soon as the
frame becomes active. This seems to increase the likelihood of reproducibility.

The Orca user who reported this issue indicated that having Thunderbird running
helps make the crash occur. While I've not seen any difference in that regard,
I have found that running LibreOffice in gdb greatly improves the changes
you'll get the crash.

That said, if the crash doesn't happen, leave the event listener running, quit
Calc, and re-open the attached test case. I've been getting the crash within 3
tries without gdb, and it reliably crashes every time for me when run in gdb.

This one isn't testable as of version 5.0 because of bug 90987, which is a

example SVG inserted into Draw and correctly rendered

To use an SVG insert it as an image. The SVG import/insert filter works
correctly, and renders SVG as well as Gimp or Inkscape. Also if inserted into a
Draw document, the SVG can be broken apart for editing if needed.

Directly opening SVG with Draw does not use the same filter. And that older
filter is broken and poorly renders the SVG as shown.

Nothing new here, so probably best closed invalid. Please have a look through
the meta bug 88277 if curious. Pretty sure there is a proper duplicate there
for opening into Draw that would match this issue.

I don't think this was inherited from OOo. I believe this is a regression from
LO 5.0. I was not able to reproduce in LibreOffice 4.4.5.2 and previous
versions.

For both Draw and Impress, LO versions before 5.0 remember both the open/close
state and their hide/show states for both the sidebar and page/slide panes.

So I'll set the version to 5.0. Please change it back if I'm missing something

Bug ID: 94145
Summary: LibreOffice Writer crashed while editing text with Bad
Allocation
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: critical
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: jedim...@gmail.com

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/40.0
Build Identifier: LibreOffice 5.0.1.2

On 2015-09-09 I had 3 crashes in a row while editing text in Writer (the last 2
may have been holdovers from the first as I hadn't restarted). After restart
all was ok then, but today it happened again.
Error is titled ""LibreOffice 5.0 - Fatal Error" and message is "bad
allocation"; then Writer closes, and recovers doc on re-open.
After the first crash this morning I uninstalled and hid three Updates
Microsoft had pushed out on the 9th, thinking they were the issue. The updates
were KB3086255, KB3092627, & KB3087039, all relating to Opentype. I thought
these were the issue as my doc is using the Graphite versions of Linux
Libertine & Biolinum fonts, and I am making extensive use of the Graphite
functionality (to create small capitals, old style numbers, and arbitrary
fractions).
Unfortunately it just happened again, so the updates don't seem to be the
issue. In this case I know exactly what happened, as I had just pasted some
text in (as unformatted) from a PDF, and I applied one of my Paragraph Styles
to the text, but missed the last line. I deleted the paragraph mark at the end
of the last styled line to join it to the unformatted one below, when BAM the
error popped up again. Unfortunately there is no exact way I can reproduce
this. In one past case I was simply typing text in the middle of a line and it
happened, and in a previous I had just deleted a character.
Note that I was working on a different document yesterday that did NOT use the
Graphite fonts or any of their features and it didn't crash on me all day.
Also, the doc I am working on is 114 pages (but with only 3 small graphics, the
rest all text).

Reproducible: Sometimes

[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]
Locale: en-US
Module: TextDocument
[Information guessed from browser]
OS: Windows (All)
OS is 64bit: yes

Will include attachments showing the styles with Graphite features I am using,
along with the document itself.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 81065] PRINTING: Print dialog page size is ignored the first time printing in brochure mode

2015-09-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81065

LibreOffice 5.0 introduced a new behavior that causes a handful of bugs, one of
which is keeping this bug from being testable.

Way back in LibreOffice 3.3ish, the print dialog was revamped to simplify
things. It now will ignore the print dialog's paper size/orientation in favor
of the document's page size. To get this setting to be used, you had to check
the (unintuitively located) "Use only paper size from printer preferences,"
which is located as the last option under the Options tab. IMO, this check-box
should be moved to the "Properties" dialog, next to the options it affects, but
that is another report. As of 5.0, LO no longer just ignores your paper size
settings. Instead, it greys the settings out so you at least know they're not
being used.

The bug that is keeping this from being testable, is that switching to brochure
mode doesn't currently enable "Use only paper size from printer preferences" to
let us choose larger paper. Also, changing the page layout to more than one
page per sheet should also allow us to change paper size. I'll report this as
another bug, if it's not already reported.

The good news is that once we jump through the unintuitive hoop of checking
"Use only paper size from printer preferences" and we specify tabloid paper,
this bug is not triggered and it prints correctly the first time.

Of course, after we print and revisit the print dialog, we're hit by bug 79077,
so our "Use only paper size from printer preferences" option was forgotten as
soon as we clicked print. If we look under properties, the page size box is
greyed out, but we still have tabloid paper selected and are unable to change
it.

Open document from a mounted password protected DMG. Close LibreOffice. Unmount
this DMG. Open LibreOffice. You'll be asked for password to mount the DMG, in
worst case several times. It pops up also after saving etc. If you don't enter
this password, it can become annoying...

This problem occurs only in the Vanilla version from the Mac AppStore (version
4.4 or 5.0). It has obviously something to do with the latest openend
documents.

The program should ask for the DMG password only when opening a document stored
in such a DMG but not just for display of latest documents.

I know that if I do Ctr+Shift+f9 it will recalculate. But if every time one

combination of keys (manual recalculation) in order to be sure that everything
is ok. If you open this same file with oppenoffice or wahtever, the calculation
is done on opening automaticaly. In libreoffice, it isn't. I can say to you
that this spreadsheet was used to make a price offer and the final price was
wrongly done. It hapened with a small fee, but ... what if it was with a big

Note: the pattern :...: (three ASCII dots between colons) was

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94143] New: LibreOffice Draw Changes Color Names

2015-09-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94143

Bug ID: 94143
Summary: LibreOffice Draw Changes Color Names
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: Other
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Draw
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: erw...@alumni.beloit.edu

If I decide to color an object Magenta 6, and I return, I find LibreOffice
4.4.4.3 has decided it is Dark Violet.

Even if Magenta 6 and Dark Violet are the same color, this is a bit confusing,
and combining this with the switch from the old pallette to the new one is...
well... hard for anyone trying to keep a consistent pallette, or to constently
substitute the new pallette for the old.

My reproduction test

I confirm with attachment 117784, but I get a bit different results, if I
create from scratch in 5.0.1.

Please install 5.0.1, try my file and try reproducing from scratch and tell me
what you think.

Can you include a screenshot? I could not find U+21D4 or 21C4 at all, no
crossed field.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94109] Writer sluggish

2015-09-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94109

I updated, still sluggish.
I updated to

Version: 5.0.2.1
Build ID: 9a18d52abbdfbdc2ac9acebec2b92e7859eb73b7
Locale: en-US (en_US)

OS: Windows 7

It's great that this doesn't seem to apply to Linux. I can't install LO on the
Linux-servers at our company though.

If I remove the image(s), performance is what I expect it to be.
How to profile on Windows ( preferably with someone else's build ? ) ?

Probably not. It'll require a volunteer taking interest in the issue. We don't
get ETA's - if it's a serious issue for you then the options are always the
same:

1) Fix yourself;
2) Find someone else to fix it;
3) Pay for a fix;
4) Wait patiently for a volunteer.

We try to discourage pinging the bug just to ask for ETA's and "will this be
fixed by." No offense of course, just doesn't add anything to the bug report
