No. The usual procedure (excel, gnumeric, google doc and other venerable spreadsheet programs) is to maintain all references (including those of the charts) the same when copying a sheet. Launch the accessible event listener in a terminal 2. Open the attached test case Expected result: Calc wouldn't crash. Actual result: Calc crashes fairly often. There seems to be a timing issue. In terms of real-world use, if you launch the document with an assistive technology like Orca running and you do not press any arrow keys immediately, Calc doesn't crash. As a result, the event listener is synthesizing several up and down arrow press and releases as soon as the frame becomes active. This seems to increase the likelihood of reproducibility. The Orca user who reported this issue indicated that having Thunderbird running helps make the crash occur. While I've not seen any difference in that regard, I have found that running LibreOffice in gdb greatly improves the changes you'll get the crash. That said, if the crash doesn't happen, leave the event listener running, quit Calc, and re-open the attached test case. I've been getting the crash within 3 tries without gdb, and it reliably crashes every time for me when run in gdb. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

After restart all was ok then, but today it happened again. Error is titled ""LibreOffice 5.0 - Fatal Error" and message is "bad allocation"; then Writer closes, and recovers doc on re-open. After the first crash this morning I uninstalled and hid three Updates Microsoft had pushed out on the 9th, thinking they were the issue. The updates were KB3086255, KB3092627, & KB3087039, all relating to Opentype. I thought these were the issue as my doc is using the Graphite versions of Linux Libertine & Biolinum fonts, and I am making extensive use of the Graphite functionality (to create small capitals, old style numbers, and arbitrary fractions). Unfortunately it just happened again, so the updates don't seem to be the issue. In this case I know exactly what happened, as I had just pasted some text in (as unformatted) from a PDF, and I applied one of my Paragraph Styles to the text, but missed the last line. I deleted the paragraph mark at the end of the last styled line to join it to the unformatted one below, when BAM the error popped up again. Unfortunately there is no exact way I can reproduce this. In one past case I was simply typing text in the middle of a line and it happened, and in a previous I had just deleted a character. Note that I was working on a different document yesterday that did NOT use the Graphite fonts or any of their features and it didn't crash on me all day. Also, the doc I am working on is 114 pages (but with only 3 small graphics, the rest all text). Reproducible: Sometimes [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: TextDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: yes Will include attachments showing the styles with Graphite features I am using, along with the document itself. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 81065] PRINTING: Print dialog page size is ignored the first time printing in brochure mode
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81065 --- Comment #6 from tmacalp --- LibreOffice 5.0 introduced a new behavior that causes a handful of bugs, one of which is keeping this bug from being testable. Way back in LibreOffice 3.3ish, the print dialog was revamped to simplify things. It now will ignore the print dialog's paper size/orientation in favor of the document's page size. To get this setting to be used, you had to check the (unintuitively located) "Use only paper size from printer preferences," which is located as the last option under the Options tab. IMO, this check-box should be moved to the "Properties" dialog, next to the options it affects, but that is another report. As of 5.0, LO no longer just ignores your paper size settings. Instead, it greys the settings out so you at least know they're not being used. The bug that is keeping this from being testable, is that switching to brochure mode doesn't currently enable "Use only paper size from printer preferences" to let us choose larger paper. Also, changing the page layout to more than one page per sheet should also allow us to change paper size. I'll report this as another bug, if it's not already reported. The good news is that once we jump through the unintuitive hoop of checking "Use only paper size from printer preferences" and we specify tabloid paper, this bug is not triggered and it prints correctly the first time. Of course, after we print and revisit the print dialog, we're hit by bug 79077, so our "Use only paper size from printer preferences" option was forgotten as soon as we clicked print. If we look under properties, the page size box is greyed out, but we still have tabloid paper selected and are unable to change it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
