To reproduce, follow these steps: In Draw or Writer: File -> Export... -> -> Save -> Security tab -> Set Passwords... Enter "§1" in any Password field and in the accompanying Confirm field. Notice that the number of stars differ between the two fields. When OK is pressed, an error will appear, as the passwords do not match. This is a problem with §, and many other special characters, such as: ², ┼, í, Á, ê, ☺, Ø, ▓, all of which can be entered with ALT codes on windows. However, since Word form fields can be password protected, an enhancement to allow password protection and handle it in/with the mentioned option, seems valid.
