[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 85761] Exporting jpeg format from DRAW, resolution does not follow options setting

2016-02-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85761

--- Comment #6 from Chris Sherlock  ---
Unless I'm much mistaken, the Graphics class has no way of getting either the
physical size of the graphics image in mm/inches, or alternatively has no way
of returning the pixels per inch from which you could extrapolate the physical
size...

http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/include/vcl/graph.hxx#109

This seems like a bit of a shortcoming in this class? Is that something we
should consider adding?

There is no actual physical page break - it is due to the "keep with next.."

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97790] New: [pyuno] unavailable exported functions and attributes

2016-02-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97790

Bug ID: 97790
   Summary: [pyuno] unavailable exported functions and attributes
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.1.0.3 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: regression
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: sdk
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: dicolle...@free.fr

I made an implementation of a grammar checker in Python (a Lightproof
derivative).
But my own functions implemented in the class are not exported when I call it.

class Lightproof (unohelper.Base, XProofreader, XServiceInfo, XServiceName,
XServiceDisplayName, XSupportedLocales):

def __init__ (self, ctx, *args):

# XServiceName method implementations
def getServiceName (self):

# XServiceInfo method implementations
def getImplementationName (self):
def supportsService (self, ServiceName):
def getSupportedServiceNames (self):

# XSupportedLocales
def hasLocale (self, aLocale):

# XProofreader
def isSpellChecker (self):
def doProofreading (self, nDocId, rText, rLocale, nStartOfSentencePos,
nSuggestedSentenceEndPos, rProperties):
def ignoreRule (self, rid, aLocale):
def resetIgnoreRules (self):

# XServiceDisplayName
def getServiceDisplayName (self, aLocale):

# My own functions
def getDictionary (self):

Then when I call the service with:

gc = ctx.ServiceManager.createInstanceWithContext("my.grammarchecker…",
ctx)

My own functions are not exported anymore.

If I display attributes of 'gc' with "print(dir(gc))", I get the following
result:

['ImplementationId', 'ImplementationName', 'Locales', 'ServiceName',
'SupportedServiceNames', 'Types', 'doProofreading', 'getImplementationId',
'getImplementationName', 'getLocales', 'getServiceDisplayName',
'getServiceName', 'getSupportedServiceNames', 'getTypes', 'hasLocale',
'ignoreRule', 'isSpellChecker', 'queryInterface', 'resetIgnoreRules',
'supportsService']

The function 'getDictionary' has disappeard.

With LO 5, if I list attributes of 'gc', 'getDictionary' is there as many other
attributes.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97734] FORMATTING: Applying a new style breaks index entries, meta fields and user defined attributes

> Please attach a sample file that gets us at least through step 2. Marking as
> NEEDINFO -> once you attach a useful/simple test file please set to
> UNCONFIRMED> Thanks.

There might be two different issues. Sorry for setting more than one issue into
this bug report. I thought they were related.

Issue 1:

Create a index entry and a reference field (
Insert/Cross-Reference/References/Set Reference )
Set a new style.
Index entry and reference field will be gone.

Issue 2:

I attached a python file as I can't include it in an .odt. Set it into the
script folder.

Start a new document and save it.
Start create_fields() from the script.
Save the document.
Have a look at content.xml (You can use show_content_xml() from the script)
Set a new style to all.
Save the document.
Look at content.xml

As I examined it further, I found this behaviour:
A paragraph containing nothing else than a text nested by a meta field or
user-defined-attribute will be break the field and the attribute, when you set
a new style to it.

When the paragraph contains something else, field and attribute will be kept.

Steps to create
-Insert - Image
-Format - Flip - Flip Vertical and Flip Horizontal.

bibisected - import ignores flip settings back to oldest bibisect (3.5). Export
seems to be working to some degree since Word opens it flipped. (Haven't
figured out how to flip in Word 2003 yet - rotation is a 0deg when it is
upside-down.) Rotating by 180% seems to work in LO, but not flipping.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97334] [Numbers] Add iWorks' Numbers missing functions

2016-02-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97334

--- Comment #7 from Dennis Roczek  ---
Another function which is missing: DURATION

Apple's DURATION is giving actually a duration (e.g. 1h).

>From Apple's help file:
DURATION
The DURATION function combines separate values for weeks, days, hours, minutes,
seconds, and milliseconds and returns a duration value.
DURATION(weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds, milliseconds)

weeks: A value representing the number of weeks. weeks is a number value.
days: An optional value representing the number of days. days is a number
value.
hours: An optional value representing the number of hours. hours is a number
value.
minutes: An optional value representing the number of minutes. minutes is a
number value.
seconds: An optional value representing the number of seconds. seconds is a
number value.
milliseconds: An optional value representing the number of milliseconds.
milliseconds is a number value.
Usage Notes
 An argument that is 0 can be omitted, but the comma must be included if later
 Â
values are included. For example, =DURATION(, ,12, 3) would return a duration
value
of 12h 3m (12 hours and 3 minutes).
Negative values are permitted. For example, =DURATION(0, 2, -24) would return a
  Â
duration of 1 day (2 days minus 24 hours).

Our DURATION (and MDURATION and DURATION_ADD) are calculation a rates

I can produce a export to .odt, but that'd be the same that you could produce

In this case, LO is inconsistent.

I don't really want to join another ML, and once I finish the build, I probably
won't build LO again until 2020. It's been 14 hours now and still not finished.

I have a somewhat old environment, so I guess on IRC the answer would be "use
recent Ubuntu". I think it's best to report the build failures async here,
since they won't be high enough priority for anyone on IRC to act on
immediately.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97552] unexpected changes in formula references

> Sorry, but without a followed steps, it's no possible to find the issue.
>
> What do you copy/paste? and how do you do it?

I finally figured out how this problem appears.
The problem is about drag a region of information to another’s ones place by
"mouse" drag. If both cells are referenced then references will follow moved
data in new place, but reference to over written one will stay same.
Accidentally making such a mistake cannot be completely fixed by < ctrl + Z >.
Only the moved data will be undid, but the change in references will remain
broken. Such an operation in msexcel will produce a warning for the cells to be
overwritten and old references to overwritten cells will be broken with #REF
info.

In example with new attachment moving data in D4-D9 region to D8-D15 then
undoing, and after this moving D20-D27 to D13-D20 then will produce
severe destruction in referenced calculations in columns I,K,O, and Q. We have
to fix these references manually.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86249] clean VirtualDevice constructor ...

2016-02-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86249

--- Comment #3 from Michael Meeks  ---
I suspect the ambiguity is unpleasant - ie. if there are two constructors with
similar arguments we should have nice, readable, descriptive enum that
distinguishes between the two use-cases; rather than a random number that is
always the same value nAlphaBitCount added to the end =)

It seems we have:

ScopedVclPtrInstance pDevice(, Size(1, 1),
DeviceFormat::DEFAULT);

I wonder if we could overload something into the vdev creation along those
lines; not sure.

Beyond that the bigger problem is that VirtualDevices get created at a 1x1 size
initially - complete with OS resources behind them, which are slow & expensive
to create - and then we re-size them deleting the original stuff =) really the
creation needs to have a smoother flow that passes in the size correctly.

2016-02-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Bug ID: 97789
   Summary: Build failure with gcc 5.2 and -O3: reffact.o: In

reference to `ScTPValidationValue::RemoveRefDlg()'
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.1.0.3 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: c...@gmx.com

Using gcc 5.2 and -O3, the LO build fails with these messages:

> [build LOC] libreoffice

This was originally reported by Jean-Baptiste Faure on the -devel ML, but it
got no replies in Dec 2015:
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/LO-5-1-build-broken-td4169160.html

I just hit this on the 5.1.0.3 release, so it's still there. As a workaround, I
built reffact.o with -O2.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97778] Inserting a linked SVG creates a PNG copy embedded on the file

2016-02-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97778

--- Comment #4 from João Paulo  ---
I found some files produced with the
LibreOffice/5.0.3.2$Windows_X86_64
LibreOffice_project/e5f16313668ac592c1bfb310f4390624e3dbfb75
which don't have the PNG embedded as a result of linking to a SVG, so I think
it's safe to assume it's a regression from 5.0.3.2.

I attached two files, the official SVG logo and an ODT test file with it
linked. Both files should be saved on the same folder to open with LibreOffice,
but if you open the ODT file with a Zip tool such as 7-Zip, you can see clearly
the Pictures subfolder. Also, the content.xml inside the ODT has the following
code:

Which shows LibreOffice is doing both things: Linking to the external SVG file
and generating a PNG embedded on the document.

What do you mean? The bug is that there is no button to open the drop-down menu

Wow - that is an interesting driver version:

DriverVersion: 20.19.15.4331

I guess its a Windows 10 driver =)

Can you give me more hardware details ? what is the HD graphics you're using ?

I wonder if we have a combination of old hardware (eg. HD3000) and newer driver
versions - which would be bad.

If you can get to the Device Manager - what does it say under "Display
adapters" - the full details of the Intel(R) HD Graphics - or whatever it
says would be much appreciated.

Thanks for filing !

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97794] New: Incompatibility between Voiceover in MacOs and Libreoffice writer resulting in voiceover thinking that each new line is a separate edit box.

2016-02-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97794

Bug ID: 97794
   Summary: Incompatibility between Voiceover in MacOs and
Libreoffice writer resulting in voiceover thinking
that each new line is a separate edit box.
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: kris...@kristersplace.com

Voiceover, the screen reading tool for the blind and visually impaired built-in
to MacOs has problems reading in Writer. As soon as a line break is inserted or
a new paragraph is inserted, it thinks it has encountered a new edit box
resulting in, among other things that Voiceover is incapable of reading one
whole document and that editing in a multiline document is impossible. This is
a deal breaker for blind and visually impaired Voiceover users.
Steps to reproduce:
1, load a multi line document such as a news paper article or a text with many
lines and paragraphs into Writer.
2; make sure Voiceover is running, voiceover is toggled on and off by hitting
cmd+f5.
3 using arrow keys, (not voiceover commands) read the text line by line.
4, observe that for every new line or paragraph break Voiceover says "edit
box". Now try having voiceover read a whole document by pressing
control+option+a. Note that Voiceover stops reading after the first line
instead of reading the whole document.
Expected results:
Voiceover should treat the whole document as one single edit box instead of
multiple edit boxes.
Current behaviour: Voiceover treats a document as if it contains multiple edit
boxes, one for each line and paragraph break it encounters.

I can confirm this is still present in 5.1. I have another very simple test
file at Bug 97759.

I've bibisected this, here's the git bisect log (with bibisect43only):

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97792] New: Sending mail fails on Windows 10 with Mail app

2016-02-12 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97792

Bug ID: 97792
   Summary: Sending mail fails on Windows 10 with Mail app
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: gerhard.scha...@gmx.at

With Windows 10 it is not possible to send mail via the Mail app. Neither via
the File menu, nor via Basic:

mailSvc = createUnoService("com.sun.star.system.SimpleSystemMail")
mailClient = mailSvc.querySimpleMailClient()
msg = mailClient.createSimpleMailMessage()
msg.setRecipient(mailAddr)
msg.setCcRecipient(Array(mailCCAddr, ";"))
msg.setSubject(subject)
msg.Body = "Content"
mailClient.sendSimpleMailMessage(msg,
com.sun.star.system.SimpleMailClientFlags.DEFAULTS)

The default client is set to the Mail app that is coming with Windows 10.
Windows 10 Pro 64bit in Virtualbox VM.

It works with normal (non app?) programs such as Mozilla Thunderbird.

NEEDINFO isnt a suitable status for this bug as nothing is needed from the OP.
If code pointers are needed and we want to track such bugs, then a whiteboard
keyword would likely be the better option to do that.
