[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97899] Numbering format
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97899 --- Comment #4 from Andrew --- After more research, I think I understand the problem. Elements of the list may have or may not have styles. If there is no style, the format is changed in conjunction with the text. If the style is, according to the style. Problems until a few: 1. It is to be seen clearly, if you put the mouse over the number. I do not see right style and the right font. 2. When working with RTF, the document contains many styles. Just now, I was not able to apply the formatting for the first number in the list, with unknown reason. 3. In the document, which must be one "list", "Lists" is a lot, and it is unclear how to consolidate them into one. List item can erraticaly jump from one list to another when editing document. The most offensive, that the "MS Word" works fine with this nonsense. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97899] Numbering format
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97899 --- Comment #3 from Andrew --- We are now trying to implement LibreOffice in a big organization. We are even willing to pay for support when we find with whom to work in Russia. My bug reports began to appear just as a result of the beginning of the implementation LibreOffice. I think you simply do not work with contracts and business documents. Working with numbered lists in LibreOffice not tenable. At the same time, the new version is even worse and less logical than the previous one. The problem is not even the end-user training. The problem is that the work with lists of unpredictable and illogical. The user encounters a problem in the most unexpected places. Format the list using LibreOffice often impossible. And, often the same result can not be achieved in the same method. Generally, it's not just a bug in the program, it is the lack of understanding of how it should work. This lack of a clear logic. And it really is a serious problem for the end user. The problem is not only not the most serious, but the most annoying. The problem is complex, because It includes compatibility problem, and the problem of functional. I even I can not write wher "lists" is not working properly. Because work is simply defies logic. It is always different. Font, margins - everything can be changed, and always different. And solution also always different. The second most annoying problem is the "work with tables". It is easy to describe, but it is not easier to work on it. The logic is clear in general, somewhere justified. But the work as a whole much more complicated, and it is a problem to implement. The rest of the bugs that I can see in Bugzilla, it's just working moments. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87906 --- Comment #10 from Yousuf (Jay) Philips --- Created attachment 122704 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=122704&action=edit example odg I would like to further clarify what i was proposing with this enhancement. So the proposal isnt to change the current behaviour of inserting an ODG as an OLE Object (Insert > Object > OLE Object), but instead to allow the Insert Image dialog to insert the contents of an ODG file into the current document in the same way that it does for an SVG. One of the main advantages that would be gained by inserting an ODG file over inserting an SVG is that an SVG file is treated as a single non-editable vector image, while an inserted ODG would be a editable grouped collection of vector and not vector objects. Basically no different than opening the ODG in Draw and copying and pasting its content into your document (Paste Special's Drawing Format). So with this functionality, i could have sent someone the attached odg file of a button and they inserted it into their Writer and easily change the button label to whatever they like. This functionality would be highly beneficial, as we could have similar ODG files in the gallery and in Draw's future stencil/symbol gallery. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97905 --- Comment #2 from sergio.calleg...@gmail.com --- Happens with any document. Issue started with the 5.1 series. In 5.0 styles work OK, in 5.1 there is this minor nuisance of the current style name not appearing until you click. I am on kubuntu 15.10, Intel graphics. Tried with both the graphic drivers as distributed by Ubuntu and the most recent (in fact from git) drivers. Makes no difference. Also tested with compositing on and off in the window manager. This makes no difference either. The fact that things work fine in 5.0 does not mean it is a bug in LibO. May be still an issue with graphic drivers that gets triggered by something different that is going on in 5.1 wrt 5.0. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93120 --- Comment #23 from V Stuart Foote --- And as in comment 18, and initial description, this is now exclusively an issue of redrawing the thumbnail view or icon when mouse over focus shifts or as the tool tip is being repositioned. It is normal, consistent and is acceptable given that that portion of the canvas is being redrawn. It is less noticiple in OpenGL because it is accelerated, and it is not overly objectionable as it is rather hard to reproduce--slowly pushing the tool-tip to force the redraw of that thumbnail is hardly a normal action. You have changed the name of the subform, where the button is placed in, to "MainForm". The name of a form has nothing to do with the position of main or sub. So you created a main, called "MainForm" and also a sub, called "MainForm". Seems you expect you could change the position of a control from one form to another form by renaming the form. This won't ever work. The only possibility to move the control to another form is to use the navigator. If you wish an enhancement for this: There should be a listbox inside the control-properties. With this listbox and all main, sub, subsub and so on it should be possible to switch the control from one form to another. But why should anybody create such a functionality, if it works with the navigator? I will set this one to Resolved and Notabug. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90506] Master Layout Lost When Saving .ppt Files
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90506 --- Comment #3 from charlieyo...@gmail.com --- Going through my instructions to reproduce the bug above, I saved off an ".fodp" copy at each step, resulting in "Example_odp.fodp", "Example_ppt_before_close.fodp", and "Example_ppt_after_reopen.fodp". I found that "Example_ppt_before_close.fodp" and "Example_odp.fodp" where basically the same, differing in only 18 lines and both showing the expected Slide Master when re-opened with LibreOffice. However, "Example_ppt_after_reopen.fodp" differs from "Example_odp.fodp" on 759 lines and does not show the expected Slide Master when re-opened with LibreOffice. On a hunch, I created a completely blank "Blank.ppt" file in LibreOffice, saved it, closed LibreOffice, re-opened it in LibreOffice, and then saved a copy as "Blank_ppt.fodp". This "Blank_ppt.fodp" only differs from "Example_ppt_after_reopen.fodp" on 3 lines. Here are the line counts from running $ wc -l *.fodp 1133 Blank_ppt.fodp 698 Example_odp.fodp 1133 Example_ppt_after_reopen.fodp 699 Example_ppt_before_close.fodp Because the blank file is so similar to the file after re-opening the ".ppt", it looks like the Slide Master information is either not being saved to the ".ppt" file or not being read from the ".ppt" file when it is re-opened. But, I do not know enough about the ".ppt" file format or LibreOffice's save/open procedures to confirm that on my own. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
