Apple's HIG has this assigned to Cmd + Semicolon (Calc uses this key for inserting the current date), MS Word has it assigned to Alt + F7, and Google Docs has it as Ctrl + Comma. As we already use F7 and Shift + F7 for spellcheck related functions, Alt + F7 seems like the best choice for Windows, but it wont work on Linux (Gnome) as Alt + F7 is for moving the current window. So, I remoted back to my other system at work and checked again there, and it is correct. I think I must have screwed up and opened OPs 5.1.0.3 generated .ODG in Draw, rather than the PDF. Checked on both, and the PDF import into Impress is also correct with 5.1.1.3 and 5.2.0alppha1+ However--on both systems, when PDF is imported into Writer with 5.1.1 or master, that filter still does have the import filter issue. STR 1. set LibreOffice to use LibreOffice dialogs 2. open file dialog 3. select the test PDF 4. set File type dropdown to "PDF - Portable Document Format (Writer) (*.pdf) 5. open result: the Test image is rotated 180 and reversed, still emulating the vertical flip issue. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98434 V Stuart Footechanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC||vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu Resolution|--- |NOTABUG --- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote --- Sorry, this is by design. The Text and Text Formatting toolbars are no longer active by default, they can be activated from the View -> Toolbars menu. You have several options: 1. If you find it distracting, the toolbar should be disabled by unselecting it from View -> Toolbars -> Text Formatting, all formatting defaults available on it are available from the Sidebar -> Properties and Paragraph content panels. 2. If you prefer the toolbar, or need its additional customization over the Sidebar deck--when set visible you can undock the toolbar. It will float over the Impress slide canvas. And can be dragged into a multi row arrangement. 3. Finally you can dock the Text Formatting toolbar to another location: Right of Sidebar, Left of Slide sorter, bottom, or any position horizontal under the main menu. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Apple's HIG has Cmd+T mapped to "Display the Fonts window (equivalent to Format > Font > Show Fonts)" which is equivalent to our Format > Character and was wrongly assigned to Styles & Formatting, as clearly can be seen in the below window. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oartY48Q_g > And as far as I can see isn't used by any LibreOffice application? > That way we also get consistency between operating systems. That is presently true, but with the future switch of Cmd+T off of Styles & Formatting on Mac, we have lost consistency again. > Ctrl+Shift+T seems to be used by Calc and Writer but otherwise I didn't see > any uses of the variants of +T. Ctrl+Alt+T is reserved on Linux. > And just for reference the normal keyboard shortcut for full screen on mac > seems to be Command+Control+F, and F11 shows the desktop. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 98428] New: EDITING: bad footer in table view
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98428 Bug ID: 98428 Summary: EDITING: bad footer in table view Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.1.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Base Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: wthoony...@yahoo.com In 5.1 base, table view opens without the footer that has record number and forward, backward, new buttons. Instead, the beginning of the expected word, Record, is on the left, approximately the width of the record number column in the table. Then, a white and a grey section overwriting what should be in the footer. When the cursor is dragged through that area, it acts as the table header does; the column resize double arrow cursor appears at the boundaries between columns. After resize of the window, the footer is shown correctly. When record search is opened, the footer is overwritten again. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 46836] Add a quick access toolbar (like citrus fizz, mini toolbar)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46836 Yousuf (Jay) Philipschanged: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |RESOLVED CC||philip...@hotmail.com Resolution|--- |WONTFIX --- Comment #115 from Yousuf (Jay) Philips --- With MS Office's ribbon/tabbed UI, it is important to have easy access to the text formatting tools when you could be on a different tab of the ribbon and would always have to switch back to the Home tab to get that access. This doesnt happen in LibreOffice because the formatting toolbars never hide in the toolbar or the sidebar. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
