With a new 5.1.1.3 install on Window 7 (I rarely use windows, but when I do I load LO). I was moving my templates and wordbook from Linux over, finished and was attempting to Exit writer. I chose File -> Exit LibreOffice ... and ... Nothing happened?? That's a new one. Exiting via the window decoration control works fine. The shortcut 'Ctrl+Q' works fine, but using the menu to select 'Exit LibreOffice' doesn't do a thing. That's about it. There are more run of the mill quirks in how the Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice Writer -> View (Horizontal/Vertical) Ruler ListBox has no left-margin (or padding), but the no-exit is the primary quirk here. You can recover the selection if you right click in any place. In think that this behavior is confusing. You could think, that it is designed to work in this way, but this behavior is different from the one obtained in writer. In writer the selection never change with a right click. It's happening also if you misspell word and then hold right arrow key to get to the end of the sentence. It will happen more frequently if you have space as a last character. If I start type I'm·testing·this·stuff·| and then go back and misspell 'testing' to 'tešting' and if I now hit right arrow key and _do not_ release it until I reach end of the line, LO will underline. But if I hit right arrow key, release it, and hit it again till I reach the end of the line -- LO _will not_ underline. So if I go back: I'm·tes|ting·this·stuff· Misspell it: I'm·teš|ting·this·stuff· hit right arrow key few times... I'm·tešting·th|is·stuff· and then hold right arrow key till the end of the line: I'm·tešting·this·stuff·| and nothing is red... It can happen in other occasion but this I managed to nail this to the specific instructions. It's happening also if you use mouse and first click somewhere in the sentence and then click to the end of the line It's just not refreshing something because if you just change font type, size, or click any button on formatting toolbar for that matter, LO will underline misspelled word. On occasion it will underline even if you follow instructions but if you try few time you'll see the pattern... It works neither with the format png nor with gif (both of them were tiny icons). The attached example works correctly if no named cells are used or if the number of rows is less than 100. When the number of rows exceeds 100 the calculations are all corrupted. In the attached file removing the last row will make the sheet function correctly. None of the problems occur if the data are saved to to "old" (binary) Excel format (XLS). Hence, I attached three simple XLS files for demonstration. Simply open them and save them as XLSX, but keep the application open. Now open the XLSX files and compare the column widths, text indentations and font-sizes of the cells for each document. You can easily see the undesired differences mentioned above. Thanks in advance for examining these issues which I guess might cause several people some trouble when working with modern MS Excel documents. I've noticed that the LO 5.1.1.3 still having both bugs. I've tested the LO 3.3.0.4 (older of downloads section), and have both bugs too. Hyperlink is not notizable because the CTRL+K shortcut text don't exist on english version of LO 3.3 and ctrl+h dont exists, but on spanish version the behaviuor is the same (both ctrl+k and ctrl+i toggle italic text style). I think that the CTRL+K text of "Insert Hyperlink" should be changed to CTRL+H (like english version), and change the CTRL+H shortcut from Search and Replace to Insert Hyperlink. Search and Replace have it's own shortcut (CTRL+ALT+B). Other thing to change is the CTRL+N text of "Archivo -> Nuevo" menu to CTRL+U (the same showed on New button tooltip). If it was just the way the autocompleted text is displayed while you type, that wouldn't be an issue, but the de-formatted text (that is the string with the newlines replaced with spaces) is actually inserted into the cell when you hit Enter or Tab. The whole point of autocomplete is that you get to fill a cell with the same text that you had previously entered in some other cell without having to retype it. If you have to edit the cell and go through the text to re-do the formatting (that is insert newlines and delete spaces), what's the point?
