Create a new presentation. 2. Select the first slide, then select Blank Slide in Layouts. (This step is probably not required.) 3. Choose Insert - Media - Photo Album. In the Create Photo Album box, make sure "Add caption to each slide" is checked. Click Add. Browse and select one or more images. Click Insert Slides. 4. Select the new slide containing your chosen image. There is a caption panel at the bottom of the slide, labeled "Click to add Title." Move the mouse into that panel, but NOT over the words "Click to add Title," so that the pointer is a four-headed arrow, then click. The panel will be outlined, with small square handles on the sides and corners. Press the Delete key. The panel is no longer outlined, but it is not deleted. 5. Click in the caption panel again. LibreOffice crashes with no message. (6. When you restart LibreOffice, it offers to recover the document, showing that it crashed unexpectedly.) Variations: After clicking on the caption panel, you can change its area and boundary line color, or its size and position, just like any other box. And, of course, if you click on the words, you can enter a caption. But if you try to delete the caption box, LibreOffice crashes the next time you click in it. The caption panel is clearly a different animal. If the photo album is inserted WITHOUT the "Add caption" option, there is no problem. This bug is probably related to 99450, which describes a crash when the presentation is closed. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87392] FILESAVE: I/O error on file save
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87392 --- Comment #7 from Julien Nabet --- Created attachment 124577 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=124577&action=edit Fixed file After other tests, I noticed that in fact there was a pb in the file. ö ("o" with umlaut) was badly encoded. Indeed, I renamed the ods file to zip so we can view its content. 1) I tested with Gnome tool to view the content of file, the file name wasn't ok 2) I used unzip on command line then run 'ls', again the file name was wrong. So I renamed the file on console with "ö" + changed the content of META-INF/manifest.xml which was wrong too. Then I recompress the whole and it seems ok. I used master sources updated yesterday and found 1) The macro was present with its original name 2) "Save as" the fixed file had no popup message. I let you test, perhaps I overlooked something. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Also checked if 64bit win version could load the bugdoc, it can not. This shows that it is a ressource problem (probably VirtualDevices) and the patch is also needed for the 64bit version. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98163 --- Comment #4 from Armin Le Grand (CIB) --- Debugged throgh that stuff again, but found no goood solution. CustomShapes (and the doc has thousands of them) need much more ressources then the builtin shapes need (factor 100?), but these are no longer available to the normal user, so they create docs like this one. In principle, VustomShapes are the better shapes, but when hiding the old ones they would first have to be optimized/reworked to get some speed and need less ressources. For now, I would suggest to do the flush of SdrOutliners/VirtualDevices durling load not when the page is loaded, but after each single CustomShape is loaded. Experimentally added this change, and can load the file. The same problem may surface again at runtime when someone edits 5000 CustomShapes, aka activate, text and other changes. That may again create these SdrOutliners/VirtualDevices and let them live probably. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98163 --- Comment #2 from Armin Le Grand (CIB) --- Took a look. The document is made of too many CustomShapes which allocate too many SdrOutliners which create too many VirtualDevices. This is probably double to bug 93994. The solution there was to flush UNO API implementations of SdrObjCustomShape at end of page load (SdXMLDrawPageContext::EndElement()). This does not work here since it's a single page. What will/should work is a win 64bit version of LO. I will take a 2nd look why all these SdrOutliners are created - there must be a better way, it's blocking ressources massively.
