@bugcruncher: so help keyboard shortcut in Find and Replace Dialog is the only
issue remaining? If so, we should probably update this bugs title.

Could you confirm this is still a problem with the latest fresh release of LO?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100821] New: Crash after template manager

2016-07-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100821

Bug ID: 100821
   Summary: Crash after template manager
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.0.0.alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: tietze.he...@gmail.com

The new workflow is to show the template manager on startup, and to have a
checkbox to switch this off. Whatever I do Impress crashes after closing the
template dialog, whether I cancel or select a template. It also doesn't help to
uncheck "Show this dialog on startup", the checkbox is active the next time.

It was decided in the UX meeting 2016-Jul-08 to keep the current behavior in
order to avoid complications when snapping is also active for gridlines, which
is the default.
Since the other issues are separated I close this ticket as WFM.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100822] New: FILEOPEN: xlsx file: imported DateTime cells are empty ( Excel 2010 compatible)

2016-07-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100822

Bug ID: 100822
Summary: FILEOPEN: xlsx file: imported DateTime cells are empty
(Excel 2010 compatible)
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 4.3.3.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: s...@tut.by

Created attachment 126132
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=126132&action=edit
xlsx with 2 datetime notation: 1 works fine and another is empty in Calc

Calc do not read DateTime in cells when date in ISO 8601 format (like
"1961-04-12T07:55:00.123")!

By documentation (Ecma Office Open XML paragraph 18.18.11) ST_CellType cell
type for DateTime are:
1. "n" and value for date is number (like "22383.32986")
example:

22383.32986

2. "d" and value for date is datetime (like "1961-04-12T07:55:00.123")
example:

1961-04-12T07:55:00.123

Calc ignores the second case.

In attachment xlsx in cells B3 and C3 datetime as number - and Calc ok, in
cells B4 and D4 datetime in ISO 8601 format - and Calc ignores dates.

In Excel 2010 all cells shown fine.

Tested in LO Calc 4.3.3.2 in Debian 8 and LO Calc 5.1.3.2 in Windows 7.

(Document was created using ZEXMLSS 0.0.11)

Easily reproducible in Collabora Office 5.0-30, in a Windows Server 2008 R2
Terminal Services environment. Seemingly any new Impress document irrespective
of slide count will trigger this – so, with hardware acceleration enabled,
create a new document, press F5 and observe the crash.

  Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is
br-24dcd614-5e9d-4f64-9e32-f284de39b3a5.
=
This happened in Draw not in Impress, but Draw was not available in the list on
the website.

What I have done until the crash:
Start with new document.
Insert > Field > file name
Mark the text of the field.
Use Style&Formatting from the sidebar.
Right-click item 'Default'
Click item 'New'.
Crash.

If you use the button "New Style" in the top-right corner of the
Style&Formatting dialog, then it does not crash.

But when you then use the new created style and right-click it, and then click
on item "Modify", it crashes again.

Tested again with a shortened work-flow, which crashed as well:
Start with new document.
Use Style&Formatting from the sidebar.
Right-click item 'Default'
Click item 'New'.
Crash.

The link on the secure page
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ for "Download Version
5.1.4" use the unsecure HTTP protocol:

http://donate.libreoffice.org/fr/dl/win-x86/5.1.4/fr/LibreOffice_5.1.4_Win_x86.msi

It then redirect to the secure page
https://donate.libreoffice.org/fr/dl/win-x86/5.1.4/fr/LibreOffice_5.1.4_Win_x86.msi

And launch download from the **insecure** HTTP link
http://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/5.1.4/win/x86/LibreOffice_5.1.4_Win_x86.msi
(no redirect to https this time!)

So the final download is NOT using https.

GTK 2 plugin.
I see the same withe box surrounding each button of the start-center.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100825] New: PDF export of document with Adobe Creative Cloud fonts no longer works

2016-07-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100825

Bug ID: 100825
Summary: PDF export of document with Adobe Creative Cloud fonts
no longer works
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.1.3.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mark.s.stew...@meekmark.com

Created attachment 126137
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=126137&action=edit
Font Sample PDF export version

Export of document to PDF with Adobe Creative Cloud fonts no longer works.
Prior version worked correctly. I am logged onto Adobe Creative Cloud when I
exported a document.

No error message went exporting, but when opening the document in Adobe Acrobat
Reader DC, I get the error message dialog "Cannot extract the embedded font
'DA+AdobeCaslonProSemibol'. Some characters may not display or print
correctly."

And the characters in that font do not appear at all. In Adobe Acrobat Reader
DC, did a "File -> Properties..." "Fonts" tab, the font appears in the list.

Check if the system window has a close handler, and if yes, call it.

This allows the close event in the preview window to be handled in a
custom fashion, instead of having it call the normal "close window"
command.

I'm going to argue that this is not a regression and clear those keywords as
the current behaviour is the "traditional" one. And the efforts to change that
showed up loads of problems so its now back to the old way of doing things.

This is weird, I tried bibisecting this bug (reproduction: right click on an
image in attached sample, then Wrap -> In Background; image is sent to
background normally when it works, disappears when it doesn't), and even the
oldest commit, the 4.3 branch point from May 21, 2014 [1] exhibits the bug.
However, in 4.3.0.4 release (from July 25) [2] it's fine. How is that possible?
It couldn't possibly have been there at branch point, then fixed in 4.3 only
before first release, could it?

I went through the normal bisecting procedure, progressing with 'git bisect
bad' each time, and when it was still bad in the end, I checked out the oldest
commit in that repo, and tested that. The bibisect repo is Robinson's 44 one.

Raal, have you had any experience like this before?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100826] New: Libreoffice command line help is unusable under Windows

2016-07-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100826

Bug ID: 100826
Summary: Libreoffice command line help is unusable under
Windows
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 3.4.0 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mikekagan...@hotmail.com

Created attachment 126143
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=126143&action=edit
Screenshots of help dialogs from different versions

Under Windows, starting LibreOffice with --help (-h, -?) switch outputs the
information to a dialog, instead of console.

Given rather large amount of information there, this dialog is unusable
because:
1. It cannot be resized, and there is no scroll bars there to enable view of
parts outside of initially displayed part (both horizontally and vertically)
2. It doesn't enable copying text from it (neither using Ctrl+C, not selecting
by mouse)
3. Since 5.0, it doesn't allow closing clicking "Close" button by mouse (Bug
91622, supposedly because the text overlaps the button, thus click happens to
the text instead of the button).

It is unclear why would this help text need to be in a dialog in the first
place, because its intent is to enable user to use command line, which implies
console usage, so outputting this to console could be fine.
But if it's necessary (e.g., because console is unavailable to the program, or
no console experience is implied), then the dialog should be made usable by
making the text both scrollable and selectable/copiable, and not overlapping
"Close" button.

Attached are screenshots from different versions, where it's apparent that even
on older versions, where the text vertically fit the dialog, it still doesn't
fit horizontally. In recent versions, it doesn't fit both directions.

The problem is back, it is on a different computer. All the same symptoms
except Writer also has the same problem too now.
I am now having the same problem on my laptop with windows 10. I do not have
system restore as a option because I disabled it a long time ago to save space
and resources.
I know I haven't changed anything on my laptop in months. I suspect that it is
something within windows, probably from a recent update. The laptop does
receive automatic updates. I have tried everything that I did when I had the
problem on my desktop.
any other ideas?

change

The next most recent update KB3149135 was installed on 6-19-2016 and it can not
be uninstalled.

The next most recent update was installed way back in march, I know LibreOffice
worked fine less than a month ago on this laptop so that and further back
shouldn't be the problem.

The file is currently unreadable and as I try to upload it here it causes

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100828] New: Calc crashes after a single edit

2016-07-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100828

Bug ID: 100828
Summary: Calc crashes after a single edit
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.1.4.2 release
  Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED

  Reporter: owlbrud...@gmail.com

I have just run an update on my Fedora 24 system which updated my Libre Office
installation to 5.1.4.2 10(Build:2). Now, if I click on a cell and drag
downwards to auto-fill the cells with the formula in the first, everything
seems fine, but as soon as I click in another cell the program hangs and
eventually crashes. I have tried saving the file as a new file, but the new one
has the same problem. I have tried 'Copy' to move the sheet into a new
document, but the new one has the same problem.

I have tried multiple edits in Writer and that seems to be functioning fine -
the issue appears to be with Calc only.
