Thanks! hi. i realy appreciate your efforts. my bug is duplicate of the bug. 100854 https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100854 its the same problem. its a very critical problem for me. because most of times, i use diacritics and cant use libreoffice easily. because libreoffice and openoffice dont recognize diacritics independently. they count diacritics as part of letter and when i want to navigate letter by letter, nvda reads only letter and not diacritics. for example: steps to reproduce: 1/copy this sentences in libreoffice writer and save it in docx or any format like docx. 2/ press control+h to activate find and replace. 3/ in the first fild, type ّ when your keyboard is set to persian. 4/ in the replace with type nothing. 5/ click okay for replace all. there are three ّ in this sentence. actual result: openoffice libreoffice say search key not found. expected behaviour: openoffice libreoffice should recognize the diacritics and behave them like normal letters. they should say three ّ was found and replace them as i mentioned. here you are the text for testing. ائمّه عليهم السّلام چراغهاي هدايت و كشتي نجات براي سعادت همه انسانها و تقرّب آنها به خداوند هستند. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 38295] Many margin comments/notes are complicated to use
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38295 --- Comment #11 from Heiko Tietze --- (In reply to Yousuf Philips (jay) from comment #9) > I've attached the document i was using to give my explanation. So you mean a reply to a comment. I'd say this question has to be covered in a different ticket. When you reply on a comment it creates another comment that is directly attached to the previous (whereas all other have some margin between). And it is labeled as "Reply to...". Not too bad. But your example shows clearly the need to deal with long comments, the scrollbar is awkward. To keep this ticket an easyhack I'm still in favor of putting the issue into another ticket. However it would be an idea to enlarge the selected comment to show 20 lines or so (and shrink it down to 3 after deselection). And that might be solved when someone touches the highlight on selection thing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

The reported issue here is that comments appear at the top left of the page and the solution was to have them appear "on the right side of the pane", which is equivalent to "completely outside of the page area". In comment 3 you stated that they should be "at the object's center", which wasnt mentioned before and doubt is a good idea. > And when you add > connecting lines from the comment (wherever placed) to the object you > struggle with the drawing itself. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94427] UI: Show indicator of currently applied style when a different style is selected in styles sidebar
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94427 --- Comment #15 from Heiko Tietze --- (In reply to Cor Nouws from comment #12) > Selecting objects in the Navigator is with double click. But not having a certain use case in mind, just for sake of some unneeded functionality (it violates any guideline for no good reason). We made a proposal to change the behavior of the navigator in general at https://design.blog.documentfoundation.org/2016/07/31/how-the-navigator-may-support-object-handling-in-libreoffice-draw/ (the styles list is not the navigator tree, though). > What do you mean with the last part, drop right click access? Today, you can modify a style that is not active by right clicking the entry. With single selection this could still be possible, but likely adds a lot of coding effort and makes not much sense, workflow wise. (In reply to Bastián Díaz from comment #13) > Although it works similar to the current dropdown menu in the > formatting toolbar (without preview). Would it be possible to unify both > interfaces? What do you mean with unify? Dropdowns are by default a collapsed version of lists. The suggested single-click activation makes the indicator obsolete since there is no chance to have another selection than the active one. But again, I think we should aim for a clear and simple workflow and drop unnecessary functions. And in my opinion the applied vs. selected differentiation is one of those. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 102163] download.lst shouldn't use md5, but rather at least sha256
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102163 --- Comment #3 from Eike Rathke --- That would not only be a change of the gbuild download mechanism, but as tarballs are shared between different branches of LibreOffice also would involve either adding symlinks for all tarballs that include the md5sum in the file name on the download server to have both, md5sum and sha256sum, available, or continue to use the name that includes the md5sum but have an additional sha256sum for the content, which might be even more confusing. I don't get the "useful to use upstream hashes for distros", distros mostly use the already available system libraries to build LibreOffice, unless those are too old or too new. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I had thought so, but did not want to transform LibreOffice in MS Office. Although it works similar to the current dropdown menu in the formatting toolbar (without preview). Writer and Calc are not affected. Think one way to resolve this would be an option to always open to the first slide/page (for Draw) and cache that image--so that optionally on closing the image of the first slide/page (for Draw) could be written to user profile and shown on thumbnail view. Otherwise this is not a regression--it did not exist until we added thumbnail views to startcenter at 4.2--and later provided thumbnails for non-ODF formats at 4.3. Note that a preview thumbnail is not recorded into the ODF document(s)until they are saved--but the thumbnail of last viewed slide/page for ODF or other documents are written to the user profile when the document is closed.
