[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 102862] Margins of exported PDF are wrong

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102862

--- Comment #8 from Yousuf Philips (jay) ---
What disto are you running on? Can you let me know which PDF options are
enabled in File > Export as PDF? How did you export it to PDF?

Tested 5.1.5 and master and wasnt able to reproduce this issue. If i had to
guess, it looks as if it is adding a comments column to the export, but there
arent any comments in the document.

I think there should be an option to "[] The user can delete comments in
unprotected cells" to protect a sheet.

English discriminates by nationality and income, Esperanto is better as an
international language.

Creo que debería haber una opción para "[ ] Usuario puede borrar comentarios en
celdas desprotegidas" al proteger una hoja.

Mi pensas ke devus esti eblo por "[] La uzanto povas forviŝi komentojn en

Forgot to say, this bug does NOT happen on my previous 4.3 libreoffice
installation I used until a few days before. So it could well be a libreoffice
issue, instead of a Compiz one. Is there any new rendering engine that causes
problems on compositing managers, and has not been used before in the 4.xx ?

Cheers,

This can easyly be reproduced:
Tab, -- to produce a dash, tab, some text, enter.

The result should look like this:
   – Some text.

However, enter removes the first tab, so the result is:
– Some text.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103307] New: grid lines disappear on parts of the chart, arbitrarily, sometimes more, sometimes less

2016-10-18 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103307

Bug ID: 103307
Summary: grid lines disappear on parts of the chart,
arbitrarily, sometimes more, sometimes less
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.0.2.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mesch...@web.de

Description:
I'm using Linux x86_64, Opensuse 13.2 (with Xfce4) and also Leap 42.1 on other
Computers. My window Manager is Compiz.

In my calc docs parts of the grid lines keep disappearing, not everywhere, but
more on the right half of the screen, and the lower part. When I scroll the
part out and come back, they re-appear, but disappear again.
It is likely to be a Compiz issue because it does not happen with other window
managers. I'll let the compiz people know, but, as I am no programmer, and
don't know what exactly is causing the problem, I'll file this here with you
It is not dangerous, and the sheet works nonetheless, but it is annoying
anyway.

This happens on all systems I have, but only with Compiz.

Hope this can be resolved.

Thanks!

Cellocommander

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start calc
2. load a sheet
3. look at the lines disappearing on parts of the screen

Actual Results:
lines disappear

Expected Results:
all lines should be there

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No - not necessary

Additional Info:

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like
Gecko) Chrome/34.0.1847.137 Safari/537.36

The intermediate dialog is taken as the parent of the file selector, but its
not a suitable candidate post Execute so the grab stack is all wrong. Other
places where that category dialog are used do the right "Close" call before
going on to fire up a new toplevel file picker

wonder if this is something fragile which sort of works sometimes and sometimes

Bill - do you have any way to reproduce this ? we need concrete steps to do
that - since it is really unclear how this happens and short of large-scale
re-work of the whole image handling code, it would be nice to isolate and fix
just this issue.

This is un-related to VclPtr. We -need- a VclPtr -like- solution to this, but
it is certainly not related; we already have a tracker for the mis-designed
image lifecycle mess here; lets stick with that one.

Hi,
Downloaded yesterday, ie Oct 18th. Version is 5.2.1.2.
I also noticed that if you open up the Word template in Writer (GUI), and then
bring up the context menu by right-clicking the bookmark(formfield), there's no
'Property' menu choice... In openoffice, that menu choice is present.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103306] New: UI: Title bar text incorrect after using print preview

2016-10-18 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103306

Bug ID: 103306
Summary: UI: Title bar text incorrect after using print preview
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.1.1.3 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: trivial
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: mdun...@uwaterloo.ca

Description:
If you use print preview in Calc, the title bar gains the extraneous string ":
2", and it becomes ": 3" after closing the print preview

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open calc, save the blank document as cookie.ods
2. Observe that the title bar reads: cookie.ods - LibreOffice Calc
3. Start the print preview with File -> Print Preview
4. Observe that the title bar now reads: cookie.ods : 2 - LibreOffice Calc
5: Close the print preview
6. Observe that the title bar now reads: cookie.ods : 3 - LibreOffice Calc

Actual Results:
There is an extra string ": 2" in the title bar while in print preview, and it
becomes ": 3" after exiting print preview. Restarting Calc and reopening the
file clears it.

Expected Results:
The : 2 or : 3 should not appear

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
This behaviour is found in the 64-bit windows version 5.1.1.3, and also in
5.1.6.1.0 from Fedora 24's 64-bit repository.

This is a low priority but confusing bug, as there is no : 2 or : 3 in the
filename.

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.116 Safari/537.36
