[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104122] Writer: overlapping animated GIF banners are competing for on top position
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104122 --- Comment #2 from Diana Sedlak --- Steps to reproduce are: 1) Insert one gif into a writer document. 2) Insert another gif so they are overlapping each other. 3) Observe the two gifs competing to be on top. I have confirmed that this does indeed happen, and was able to reproduce this bug similar to what is observed in the sample file, however I am not sure this is a bug because I was able to rearrange the gifs so they were not overlapping. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103975] FILEOPEN: DOCX: Incorrect page break moves content to page 2
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103975 --- Comment #4 from Justin L --- Created attachment 128999 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=128999&action=edit tdf103975_notPageBreak.docx: reduced test document showing the problem So far, my conclusion is that this has uncovered another bug, related to the fact that these columns have no content. Adding a single character in one of the columns prevents the problem. So does removing the HardReturn in the first column. So clearly this is actually in column mode (visually confirmed in the tab bar) even though FindColFrame() finds nothing (section attributes GetCol().GetNumCols() also report 0). Also - I failed to be able to create a clean-room test document in MSWord to replicate the problem. This minimal unit test is just a reduced version of the original. The worst case fix for this particular document is to avoid it by: const bool bPotentiallyHasColumns = m_rThis.FindColFrame() || m_rThis.IsInSct(); -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

In both format there are needed about 25GB of memory to save to desired formats. The difference is that during exporting to .ODS, the hard disc is used (you could noticed that free disc space is decreasing). The RAM usage for LibreOffice during exporting to .ods is constant (about 1200MB) Generally exporting into .ods is successful. Unforunately during exporting into .xlsx, only RAM is used. There is no disc usage, during exporting into .xlsx It means that during exporting to .xlsx, the amount of free RAM memory is dramatically decreasing until it crash. In my opinion desired solution for exporting to .xlsx, is saving data on disc, as it is already done for .ods. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104145 --- Comment #4 from pherwo...@gmail.com --- Saving the file does not cause the problem. Closing and reopening is when the problems arise. It doesn't happen with all my calc files just one so far. It's only about 160kib but it's my largest and it has quite a lot of formatting, with borders, number formats (date, currency), a few coloured backgrounds. It contains personal financial info and is too large to replicate. Replicating may not even produce the same results if not exactly the same. It has a few macros but all but one are activated with a button and work as they should. The other one sorts 4 of the sheets when I save but if I check after using it, all sheets are as they should be until I close and open again. I save by clicking the save icon on taskbar. I am currently testing 5.3 beta1. With 5.2.3 everything is OK. The change in formatting seems totally random so it's hard to pinpoint. Text will be bold when it should be regular, backgrounds in the main colour I use appear in other random cells and borders disappear and appear around random cells that should have no border. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

For example; is there any way within a few commands to delete the contents of all tables ore most of all. The database has nearly 40 tables and most of them have links to documents or pictures in other directories on my computer. Mostly of the links are "speaking" and so they are personalized. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104146 thack...@nexgo.de changed: What|Removed |Added Blocks||80430 --- Comment #2 from thack...@nexgo.de --- Hello Gerhard, *, as I got a response from Olivier (see //go.mail-archive.com/5EhSNFLJ0HJpqeBUo2C9j8P0CFI=>) to add #80430 as a blocker and to add my description of my mail to the l10n list, here it is: due to a debate on our discuss@de.l.o list, I found the following: Designing Labels and Business Cards You can design both labels and business cards through the Labels dialog. 1. Choose File - New - Labels to open the Labels dialog. 2. On the Labels tab, under Format, define the label format. LibreOffice Writer contains many formats of commercially available sheets for labels, badges, and business cards. You can also add other, user-defined formats. 3. On the Labels tab, under Inscription, you can choose what you want written on the labels. This often involves database fields, so that the labels can be printed with varying content, when sending "Form Letters" for example. It is also possible to have the same text printed on every label. 4. Use the Database and Table list boxes to select the database and table from which the data fields are obtained. Click on the arrow button to transfer the selected data field into the inscription area. Press Enter to insert a line break. You can also enter spaces and any other fixed text. On the Format tab you can define your own label formats, not covered by the predefined formats. To do this, select "User" from the Type list box. On the Options tab, you can specify whether all labels or only certain ones are to be created. 4. On the Options tab page, make sure that the Synchronize contents box is selected. If this is selected, a label only has to be entered (on the top left label) and edited once. 5. As soon as you click on New Document, you will see a small window with the Synchronize Labels button. Enter the first label. When you click on the Synchronize Labels button, the current individual label is copied to all the other labels on the sheet. 6. Click on New Document to create a new document with the settings you have entered. on https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Creating_and_Printing_Labels_and_Business_Cards While trying to follow the steps, I (also confirmed by Gerhard in the discussion mentioned above), it seems the last two steps are in a wrong order. So, should this not be changed to (steps 1 to 4 as above) 5. Click on New Document to create a new document with the settings you have entered. 6. As soon as you click on New Document, you will see a small window with the Synchronize Labels button. Enter the first label. When you click on the Synchronize Labels button, the current individual label is copied to all the other labels on the sheet. ? I have tried to find these in Pootle (e.g. https://translations.documentfoundation.org/de/translate/#search=As%20soon%20as%20you%20click%20on%20New%20Document&sfields=source,target and found https://translations.documentfoundation.org/de/libo50_help/translate/shared/guide.po#unit=94047295 where it appears without enumeration. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84246 --- Comment #11 from Holli Bleßmann --- This IS still a Bug. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104146] New: wrong help text for printing labels and business cards
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104146 Bug ID: 104146 Summary: wrong help text for printing labels and business cards Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.2.3.2 rc Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: gerhard.we...@t-online.de The help text for printing labels and business cards: https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Creating_and_Printing_Labels_and_Business_Cards is incomprehensible at its end: the last item (6) should be positioned before item 5. Then the sequence is logical: to create a new document... you have to click on "New document"; then, when you have clicked, you will see the synchronize button; and that is exactly what happens. The new item 6, by the way, should be rephrased: instead of "as soon as you click..." it should read "as soon as you have clicked..." or even "as soon as the new document is created", because the small dialog only appears with the document (and vanishes when it is closed). The wrong sequence has been honestly translated into all languages I can judge of. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
