[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 105274] Idea: Add Support to Save Draw (and PDF) file to ODT format ( without text boxes)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105274 --- Comment #3 from Kevin Suo--- Your attached converted ODT file is in good format, but it is far away from a editable ODT file, as each of the lines are within a textbox. The key of my idea is to remove the textboxes. This feature is important for business use. One use case is that, for example, the Department of Commerce issued a Questionnaire to a Company requesting information, but the Queasionnaire is in PDF format (actually the Department is always issuing Questionnaires in PDF format). When the Company receives the Questionnair they have to convert it to an editable Text document in order to respond to the questions. As far as I know, people are using Office 365 to do this conversion, as start from Word 2013 it has a feature called PDF Reflow. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 105266] PPTX import: The attributes fill="lightenLess" and ="lighten" are rendered wrong in "bevel" shape
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105266 --- Comment #3 from Regina Henschel--- I think, the new part with dBrightness in /core/svx/source/customshapes/EnhancedCustomShape2d.cxx and /core/svx/source/svdraw/svdopath.cxx is totally wrong. It applies fixed, unexplained factors to the colors, which are already adjusted based on the values stored in nColorData according to the various mso_spt... shape types. But the old part, inherit from OpenOffice is wrong too. You see the difference best with a dark fill color. Look at the "lighten" part. You can notice, that it has less saturation in PowerPoint than in OpenOffice. Microsoft has described the calculation to be used in https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh745894%28v=office.12%29.aspx?f=255=-2147217396. So the correct calculation would be: for lighten: resultColor = 0.6 * fillcolor + 0.4 * 255 for lightenLess: resultColor = 0.8 * fillcolor + 0.2 * 255 for darken: resultColor = 0.6 * fillcolor + 0.4 * 0 for darkenLight: resultColor = 0.8 * fillcolor + 0.4 * 0 If I examine the colors in the image with a paint-application, I see exactly these result (besides rounding). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 90194] Make Breeze the new default in Windows 10
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90194 --- Comment #12 from V Stuart Foote--- UWP -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Windows_Platform For example Office 365 and the Outlook Web App have been implemented with UWP in mind. But rather than Breeze, Sifr would actually be the better choice for a changed default for Windows--just ensure it offers a full icon set to avoid fall-back to Breeze, though I think most of that was resolved. Provide color where needed, but mono-cromatic Sifr in general. Regards this UX decision, personally I'm fine with retaining the Tango status quo on Windows builds so a +1 for the Wontfix here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Kind of out of scope for LibreOffice as we make no claims to being a PDF editor. Believe the existing import filter to handle PDF import directly to Writer [1] rather than passing through draw does an acceptable rendering of the document. The converted ODF is attached. Yes there are times that having the ability to edit a PDF would be handy. But we already provide our HybridPDF format to embed an ODF document within the PDF. Even Adobe own Acrobat does not provide ability to directly edit structure of the PDF content--just touch-up. Regarding "Copying Spreadsheet Areas to Text Documents" both in the local and online help nothing is said about linking as DDE objects, and nothing is said about the use of the method copy-paste special. Samething for IT "... mentre con i fogli elettronici vengono visualizzati ...": here too, why "mentre"? Same time you should explain the significant difference between inserting as OLE or DDE: with the first, data will remain incorporated as they are, with the latter they will be logically linked to the source document reflecting, if desired, all the changes occurred over time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 105288] MailMerge: when running e-mail using a macro only a few messages get sent
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105288 --- Comment #3 from Alex Kempshall--- In MailMerge there are two processes going on in parallel. 1. Format messages and place them on a dispatcher queue. When all messages have been placed on the dispatcher queue the queue is stopped. 2. Take messages off the dispatcher queue and send and await reply from smtp server. If step 2 above takes a lot longer than step 1 the queue is closed prematurely. The code that closes the queue is here in sw/source/uibase/dbui/dbmgr.cxx SwDBManager::MergeMailFiles if( xMailDispatcher.is() ) { xMailDispatcher->stop(); xMailDispatcher->shutdown(); } If this is changed to while(xMailDispatcher->messageCount()); if( xMailDispatcher.is() ) { xMailDispatcher->stop(); xMailDispatcher->shutdown(); } Where xMailDispatcher->messageCount() is in sw/source/uibase/dbui/maildispatcher.cxx and looks like int MailDispatcher::messageCount() { return messages_.size(); } -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 105207] Crash while calling MRI when it is not loaded.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105207 --- Comment #4 from Peter Toye--- Correction to 1st paragraph of my previous comment: This is quite difficult to reproduce, as it does not give an LO crash report 100% of the time - most of the time (on Windows 7) I get a window saying that LO has stopped working with the reason of APPCRASH. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 105207] Crash while calling MRI when it is not loaded.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105207 Peter Toyechanged: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #3 from Peter Toye --- This is quite difficult to reproduce, as you need a copy of LO which has an incorrect folder name for the macro which loads MRI. Also, it does not give an LO crash report 100% of the time - most of the time (on Windows 7) I get a window saying that LO has stopped working with the reason of APPCRASH. I am not sure if you need to have an MRI macro library present to reproduce this. My machine has one in "My Macros" To reproduce: 1) Load this document. You will see the "Start Application" event is assigned to a macro to load the MRI library stored in the document (it should of course have been stored in LibreOffice). 2) Run the TestMRILoad.Standard.Main macro. This will try to call MRI, which will not have been loaded. You get an error message. Terminate LO normally. 3) Either the crash report or the Windows error message pops up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 105259] Area style dialog badly aligned
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105259 --- Comment #7 from Maxim Monastirsky--- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #6) > The current situation without the patch of bug 103225 is that everyone will > get misaligned controls. Undoing the patch, which was decided to do in the > ESC today, leads to huge whitespace, not that much of a problem on gtk3. Right. What I was suggesting is to re-apply the patch of bug 103225, but adjust it in a way that will not introduce the huge whitespace. i.e. use fixed size everywhere, but use 750x550 only under gtk3, else use smaller fixed size. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
