[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103919] Mailmerge e-mail does not send all merged documents

"8-) Version: 5.3.1.2 Build ID: e80a0e0fd1875e1696614d24c32df0f95f03deb2 CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Linux 4.9; UI Render: default; VCL: gtk2; Layout Engine: new; Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); Calc: group I have a test Calc sheet with 12 entries all using my email address and a test Writer document with two merge fields and a little text. I have set up Writer Mail Merge Email and it tests successfully, so I think that much is working OK (it is set to use my ISP's mail that I use for normal emails). When I press the 'Send Documents' button, a small dialog pops up for a second and it appears to count up to 12 before closing. Following this, another larger dialog pops up and it seems to be saying the connection has been established and is sending, but it closes before I can read any more. The result so far has been out of each attempt at sending twelve messages, only one email arrives in my inbox from my ISP. >From the above I conclude 1) my settings are correct and 2) I am hitting the exact bug described here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106866] When I change the field length of the result is multiplied by 4 each time (firebird, varchar)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106866 --- Comment #3 from s...@imail.ru --- Sad. Version for Firebird I found a lot of problems. I think it had something to do with an attempt to recalculate the lengths for the locales which are saved in UTF8, two bytes (in the previous version that I such attempts have not seen). But if you try on the versions in Latin locale, you are unlikely to be able to confirm at least one. Will have to wait for the opinions of Chinese users . :( Anyway. Thank you for your work. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 98446] Hide Whitespace option grayed-out intermittently
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98446 --- Comment #12 from LibreTraining --- I have determined one setting in the settings.xml file which appears to cause the issue. Using your demo files: - Hide whitespace grayed out.odt - Hide whitespace possible.odt I set the LO advanced setting to PrettyPrint the XML files. Then I extracted the contents of the ODT files so I could compare them. Then I tried to make the files as similar as possible. - deleted all custom styles - deleted all direct formatting - applied default style to all - reset document properties Then I extracted the files. Ran the compare - found 4 XML files with differences Replaced the XML files one-by-one to see which one fixed the issue. When the settings.xml was copied - the issue went away. So I then replaced each difference line-by-line. One setting, ViewLayoutColumns, brought back the Hide Whitespace function. >From ODT file: hide whitespace grayed out.odt File: settings.xml http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"; xmlns:config="urn:oasis:names:tc:opendocument:xmlns:config:1.0" xmlns:ooo="http://openoffice.org/2004/office"; office:version="1.2"> ... ... 0 >From ODT file: hide possible.odt 1 So when I changed ViewLayoutColumns from 0 to 1 - the issue went away! To confirm I went back to the original hide_whitespace_grayed_out.odt file and changed just that line. It worked. To confirm I went back to the GS50-GettingStartedLO.odt I first mentioned above. In the settings.xml file I changed ViewLayoutColumns to 1. It worked. So ... could some knowledgable developer please figure-out what is happening. - Why is ViewLayoutColumns getting set to 0? - Why does that disable Hide Whitespace? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106880 Bug ID: 106880 Summary: PPT/PPTX files with slide transitions having specific duration are imported with wrong duration Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.3.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ba...@caesar.elte.hu Created attachment 132288 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=132288&action=edit Checkerboard, 0.75s (PPTX) The attached PPT/PPTX files have Checkerboard slide transition with 0.75s duration. When they are opened in LibreOffice, they are shown with 2s duration. I'm not sure what the number depends on, a PPTX with a 1.75s-duration transition opens with 3s duration in LO, just like a 10.75s one. The behavior might be originating from the old, predefined Slow/Medium/Fast values (in 5.1). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106878] New: Improve the LibreOffice "fallback theme"
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106878 Bug ID: 106878 Summary: Improve the LibreOffice "fallback theme" Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: graphics stack Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ke...@collabora.com The bug 106756 pointed out that there are projects that prefer own theme over using the system one. This is currently not the direction that LibreOffice wants to follow, so the bug has been closed. Nevertheless - the "fallback theme" that we have in LibreOffice is incredibly ugly, and could be improved. Also the code for the actual drawing is spread all over the place; would be great to unify that to one place instead of all the "if (native) {something();} else {fallback();}"-like implementation. There would be 2 things to improve: 1) move the drawing of the widgets out of their paint method to a theme painting class 2) actually improve the drawing of the "fallback" widgets The 1) would lead to using a theme class that would be either instantiated by the system integration (Gtk+ / KDE / Windows / macOS / ...), or the fallback instance is used. In 2) the actual drawing would be improved. Both 1) and 2) can be done incrementally, there is no need for a big bang where everything would be broken :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106756] Default Theme and Icon Set
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106756 Thibaut Brandscheid changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|WONTFIX |FIXED --- Comment #10 from Thibaut Brandscheid --- I have the impression that the arguments for a change to a unique theme & icon set have not been perceived. In the issue I point at problems which exist today and are caused by using the system theme as default. Even if there is right now no replacement for the native theme, the discussion could take place here. Also the potential of having more control over the visual and possible branding implications might be worth some words. Spending time on improving the fallback-theme makes only sense if the result is later somewhat used/seen by users. In the case of that there is no interest in changing the theme from native to a default, the fallback can maybe stay as it is. If there is interest, we should outline how such a unique theme & icon set should look, how it could be implemented, what limitation exist... Anyway, I gladly accept the offer to point me to relevant code paths to learn about how the fallback works. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
