[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47953] "Error loading BASIC of document" error messages
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47953 --- Comment #13 from Malte O --- (In reply to Stephan Bergmann from comment #11) > Did you actually find ooSetupInstCompleted being set to true in one of the > xcd files (in contrast to being set in registrymodifications.xcu)? No, I didn't find it. I recognized it by trying to customize the office (I wrote an additional xcd-File). And if I install the office and set ooSetupInstCompleted to true before starting the first time, the error message appears, when opening a document. (In reply to Stephan Bergmann from comment #12) > How do you know that installation is not yet completed? How did you install > LO? What abnormal behavior did you observe/what failures happened? Which > files exactly are missing from the user profile? In an additional xcd-File I added "ooSetupInstCompleted" with true (with in the added xcd-File). Apart from that, I didn't change anything. I install the office in the normal way and after that copy the additional xcd-File into the "share/registry" folder for my own customizing. By starting office the first time the user profile only has the folders "extensions", "uno_packages" and the file "registrymodifiacations.xcu". The "basic" folder and some other folders (for example "autocorr", "autotext", "config", "database"...) are missing. So if I click to open a document, the error message appears, because the basic files are the first files, that are missing, I think. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 108623] New: EDITING: More and more cpu power is needed while typing a document ( without any assistance Autocorrect/Spell Checking)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108623 Bug ID: 108623 Summary: EDITING: More and more cpu power is needed while typing a document (without any assistance Autocorrect/Spell Checking) Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.5.7.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: tele...@surfxs.nl Description: It's a bit of nitpick, but I'm still wondering what's where all the CPU power is going while typing plain text with every writing assistance I know of disabled. While typing normal words fast the CPU is in a range of 0,78 - 1,15% (LibO 5.4.0.0b2). Mostly hitting 1,15% When doing the same with LibO 3.5.7.2 or 4.3.7.1 the range is 0,38-0,78 (mostly 0,78) Going back to LibO3.0.0. CPU usage is mostly is in a range 0,0 and 0,38% Doing the same by typing gibberish makes it worse way worse (3.8% - 6.00% with LibO5.4.0.0.b2) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use a build without dictionary's 2. Disable Autocorrect while typing (Tools -> Autocorrect) 3. Options -> Language Settings -> Disable writing aids 4. Open Process Explorer 5. Start typing into an empty document. Play with the keyboard: Press random letters with combined with spaces and enters. Monitor CPU usage. Typing regular words is also an option when typing quickly Actual Results: More and more CPU cycles are needed for just plain typing. Expected Results: Most ideally the same behavior as with 3.0.0 Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Found in Version: 6.0.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: cbf371e07fd5dea1ea08a1f299360d1273961ebd CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.19; UI render: default; TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2017-06-14_23:13:57 Locale: en-US (nl_NL); Calc: CL and in LibreOffice 3.5.7.2 Build ID: 3215f89-f603614-ab984f2-7348103-1225a5 but not in LibreOffice 3.3.0 OOO330m19 (Build:6) tag libreoffice-3.3.0.4 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108434 --- Comment #3 from William Signer --- I have investigated my Writer problem an Base problems further in both Win10 and Ubuntu Linux 16.04 LTS. I am reporting that I had a Win10 automatic update after I submitted my initial bug report. I am using LibreOffice 5.1.6.2 in Ubuntu Linux and LibreOffice 5.3.3.2 in Win10. The problems I previously described with BASE seems to have gone away in both the Linux and win10 systems But the Writer problem still exists in both the Linux an win10 systems. A bit background: the file was original created with Pages; edited with LibreOffice, saved as docx and finally as ODT. I have removed some sensitive stuff; using regex [a-zA-Z0-9] and replacing it with i fixes somehow the problem (at least what i believe). At page 3 remove the new line before the bold "S:" and hit enter. Now "Microebene:" is also on page 3, although the whole paragraph has enough space at page 2! That drive me nuts so i have recreated the short document for the person.
