[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 94319] Copy/Paste of lines (and grouped object with lines inside) places the copy in unpredictable location
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94319 --- Comment #30 from sergio.calleg...@gmail.com --- No, really, it would be a weird flow... Say you are building a diagram and you have like 5-7 different types of blocks and that altogether your diagram will include 30-100 blocks. The usual flow is to take them off a gallery and align them to the grid (because objects cannot be taken out of the gallery ready aligned to the grid) to then move them off the work area. Then you start building your diagram, copying the blocks you need where you think you need them and adjusting their positions with the arrow keys, so that they stay on grid until the result is visually pleasant. Opening the duplicate dialog and editing it, in place of a CTRL-C, CTRL-V, some arrow key presses would be an overkill. Particularly if you need to place 100 objects overall from a set of 5-7 in positions you cannot exactly forecast in advance. Incidentally, the 100 objects is the reason why having to re-adjust their position manually one by one is a big burden. Now, all this is not unusual for those using LibO to design flowcharts (there are many galleries and templates of blocks, for it), or circuits (same) or logic circuits (same), etc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

In Lean Production an important issue. @ Yousuf Philips (jay) 2017-08-03 13:17:20 UTC >The survey didnt show that any Mac users used Oxygen. 16 users on Linux/KDE, 3 >>users on Linux/Other and 4 users on Windows. What i said on telegram I didn't participate in this survey because I didn't aware of it. So I'm the forth user who uses Oxygen on Linux and on Windows. I know in China at least 10 Colleagues of mine who use Oxygen on Windows as well. When this option is enabled most of the settings made disabled on the dialog. The controls on rotation tab page are not disabled immediately after the position protection is enabled, but only after the dialog is closed and reopened. Similar thing happens when we disable the position protection, the rotation settings remain disabled and we need to reopen the dialog to be able to set any rotation. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Impress 2. Open position and size dialog for title shape 3. Turn on position protection (Position and Size tab, Protect label) 4. Switch to Rotation tab -> all settings are enabled 5. Close and reopen the dialog -> settings on Rotation tab are disabled Actual Results: Disabling settings on rotation tab page is done only after closing and reopening the whole dialog. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 111743] New: Writer cannot have different zoom in document new window
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111743 Bug ID: 111743 Summary: Writer cannot have different zoom in document new window Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.4.0.3 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: paravan...@gmail.com Description: I report two problems with zoom when I select a new window on the current document, in LibreOffice 5.4.0.3 x64 Writer on Windows 10. Steps to Reproduce: So, if I select Window > New Window, to get a different view of the document I am working on: (1) I cannot set a different zoom for that new window. Whatever zoom I select, applies to both windows. This is not how Microsoft Word 2016 behaves. (2) Moreover, if the zoom is less than Fit width on the second window, the document page is aligned to the left of the screen, instead of being centered, as in the original window. Incidentally, the option to open a new window of the current document is grayed out when working on a web document. Actual Results: This zoom behavior is annoying. Being able to set different zooms for different windows of the current document, would help me work on one section of a document (fit width) while having a different section of the document open in another window, with two pages displaying side by side (which is not a problem in Microsoft Word 2016). Expected Results: I should be able to set different zoom levels for different windows of the same document. Moreover, zooming on a single page should display the page in the center of the screen no matter which window we are at. Finally, the issue to open a new window of the current document should be available with a web document as well. We use LibreOffice even if the competition is so high, the reason no because its free but because people gathered all around and build something really amazing, they did an office suite and they did it amazingly good, we support and we try to spread the use of this amazing creation that in our opinion must be promoted more and more. The need of this option in the main printing dialog is important and we know that people will try their best to make it, comparing libreoffice printing dialog with the printing dialog from other product its ok just we want to see liblreoffice beyond that . We dont believe that because the other office solution doesnt have it that liblreoffice must do the same. we believe libreoffice must be much more perfect and by adding such options "in our discussion the option to have a checkbox to double side print from the main dialog window" makes it so much attractive for so many users and companies, we need to know that we can have a tool that can replace the tools that we in printing industry use,we really want and try to use libreoffice alot and especially the double side printing option is us everybody know a must have in printing industry... and ofcourse for us too its very important to be in the main printing dialog, for many reasons, maybe this is our priority and for some other not but this is the amazing with this excellent creation , you can say your mind, you can ask if you can have this or that, and many times it will be implemented! thats why we prefer this "free" office suite, created by people that need to be congratulated for that, and we try to avoid the other "paid" solutions that many thing that are by far more good...because we know we will take no opinions... no option to suggest this or that and no way to make it "work" for us, i thing this is really important... sorry for the long text Thank you -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
