[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115538] New: GnuPG / PGP keys not found on Mac unless from command line
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115538 Bug ID: 115538 Summary: GnuPG / PGP keys not found on Mac unless from command line Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: flo...@documentfoundation.org Description: Running LibreOffice 6.0 on mac OS 10.13 with GPGTools 2017.3. No PGP keys/signatures are found when LibreOffice is started from Spotlight or directly via double click on ODF file. This is both visible in the settings when no predefined PGP key can be chosen, and in the signature dialog, when no PGP is offered. Regular X.509 certificates work (from within Thunderbird's profile). Verifying existing signatures yields to an error message with "broken/unknown signature". Starting LibreOffice via "open /Applications/LibreOffice.app", or "open file.odt" or "/Applications/LibreOffice.app/Contents/MacOS/soffice" does find the key. I assume it has something to do with the path to GPGTools, but no idea how to chase this. Both PATH and /etc/paths.d seem to contain the right path. I can confirm above behaviour on two different machines. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice 2. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 101162] Performance issues with VCL OpenGL backend (linux, mesa-12.0.1, intel)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101162 --- Comment #6 from Clemens Eisserer --- Hi Tomaz, > Linux OpenGL backend doesn't have glyph caching so it is currently slow and > implementing > that is not that trivial (mainly rendering glyph to texture with FT is > missing) but not too hard either, > I just don't have the time to implement that. Thanks for your answer, this also explains why I see most time spent in various types of memcpy when working with spreadsheets containing a lot of text. When I tried to run earlier versions of the OpenGL backend on my Intel-HD (OpenGL-2.1) I also saw a lot of shader recalculations and other performance problems reported by the intel driver (with INTEL_DEBUG=perf). This makes me wonder ... would it make sense to apply for Google-Summer-of-Code with the intention of bringing the OpenGL backend on Linux to a production-ready state (so that it can be enabled on linux by default), by: * Implement the missing glyph-cache - including subpixel antialiasing (requires GL_NV_texture_barrier or readback for proper blending) * Test and tune for various driver/hw combinations out there (r600, radeonsi, nouveau, nvidia proprietary, i965) and - resolve bottlenecks (shader recompilations, other expensive state changes, texture upload) - extend the white/black lists - profile typical API interations between LibreOffice and VCL and tune the backend so that common cases hit driver fast paths. - extend the use of shaders where approriate LibreOffice always had a rather sluggsih UI on Linux especially when working with documents that contain images, so it would be great if that could be finally solved. I know layering a typical immediate-drawing-API on top of OpenGL won't magically make everything super-fast, but I hope it will improve the average feel and responsiveness. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115536 Bug ID: 115536 Summary: Calc - Input line - Drag'n'drop doesn't work leftwise since LO6 Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: bugzilla@mkr.email Description: I’m new to Calc, but maybe I found an issue. It’s about the drag n drop in the input line. If you drag a number or word to the left, it gets always get duplicated, too. Calc shifts the word or number to the right, that needs to be shifted, but keeps the dragged number/word also in its old place! If you drag a word or number to the right, this issue is not present. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Calc. 2. Click on the input line. 3. Enter “1 2” (without quotation marks) 4. Doubleclick on “2” to select it 5. Drag that number to the left of “1” (I mean to the beginning of the input line). -> You get “212“ instead of ” 21” -> “2” stands at the beginning of the input line, but the number also stays at the old position. Calc overwrites the last four 1s with 2s. 6. Now enter “1 2” again. 7. Doubleclick on “1”. 8. Drag it to the right position of “2” (the end of the input line). -> You get “ 21“ (with a blank space at the beginning). That is correct. Actual Results: see above Expected Results: see above Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: The issue also works with letters. Enter „Abcde Fgh“ and drag „Fgh“ to the beginning of the input line. You get „FghAbcFgh“ instead of „FghAbcde“. The other way round works. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115449] Add Tooltips to the Horizontal Ruler in Writer
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115449 --- Comment #1 from Stephen Leibowitz --- The next paragraph is a revision of the second paragraph in my 2018-02-04 comment. Implementing the suggestion in the first paragraph of my original comment would not really explain the purpose of the icon to the left of the ruler. Of course, a user could read the documentation. But we should consider a bigger change. The tooltip for the icon might initially say, “Left tab. Click to change the tab type. Click on ruler to set the tab.” Instead of cycling through the tab types, a left-click would open a context menu to select a tab type. The right-click function is already used and I am not suggesting that it be changed. It opens a context menu to set the measurement unit for the ruler. In my original comment, I suggested that tab stops on the ruler should have a tooltip that shows the position, such as 0.50 ". This idea could be extended, in the same way I suggested that the indents on the ruler be extended. As a tab stop icon is being dragged, the tooltip would be displayed, with the tab’s numerical position continuously updated in the tooltip. This would facilitate fine adjustments. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115478] Some text styles run over to a 2nd page on Ver 6, not on Ver 5.4
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115478 --- Comment #2 from Steven --- I am not inclined to sent you our commercial terms and conditions, which are in Arial 10 point, but run over by 2 lines to a second page on Ver 6, not on Ver 5.4. I printed out both versions and there is no word wrapping to the line below, so margins are the same. If held up to the light, you can see through the paper that Ver 6 starts off aligned with Ver 5.4, but moves down out of alignment as you look down the page, then runs over to a second page by 2 lines. Text looks a lot cleaner on Ver 6 though. I am just saying. It's not a bug, but you do lose 2 lines of text for whatever reason. Up to you what you do with this info. I will stick to Ver 5.4. ***Update***: I tested this in OpenOffice 4.1 and it is the same as your Ver 6, runs over by 2 lines. So perhaps the bug (not really a bug), may be in ver 5.4 after all. FYI. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74580 --- Comment #30 from Gareth --- In reply to Comment #29 (from V Stuart Foote) re. whether a parallel task is needed for the HTML import. > Importing sheet data from HTML is very much a corner case, in fact a user > given a preference shuold be picking TSV or CSV to assure data quality > compared to a table pulled from HTML. Importing a table is one possibility, but you can simply save or generate a spreadsheet as HTML. It has some advantages over CSV, especially in formatting. Anyway, it doesn't really matter whether it's a corner case, or what some developer or discussion participant magisterially thinks users 'should' do. The fact is that it is an existing use case, in regular use in businesses I have come across. Calc currently handles it in the same way as importing a CSV (simplified, since importing HTML is simpler) and I merely point out that it would be good practice for it to continue to do so, if the way of importing CSVs changes. TSV may also be a corner case. I had to look it up. But if Calc currently handles it in the same way as CSV, yes, it would be good to continue to do so. > Having the minimally intrusive textimportoptions.ui dialog [1][2][3] appear > when opening a non-CSV document, including HTML, into Calc is not the issue > here. Rather improving work flows for parsing complex CSV The dialog is as intrusive as the CSV dialog, in the sense that it appears every time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Opening in LO6.1 the rotation and the position is totally wrong. The image has size 9cm width and 4cm height. It is anchored to paragraph with "parallel"-wrap.
