[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119524] Calc: SUM fails to give sum without any indication of the failure cause
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119524 --- Comment #3 from Kat --- (In reply to m.a.riosv from comment #2) > Please attach a sample file, the image doesn't help to test what happens. As I said in the original bug description, I fixed the problem by copy/pasting the SUM function from a working cell to the not-working cell (the broken cell had afaik identical content in the broken and working states). After it was fixed, I could not return to the broken state even by undoing the fix. If you think it would still be helpful to see the now problem-free file, I can attach it, but I will have to strip most of the content out because it contains private/sensitive information. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119553] New: A better navigation in Calc's tabs
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119553 Bug ID: 119553 Summary: A better navigation in Calc's tabs Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: j22...@gmail.com Description: I suggest an improvement for Calc: a better (faster and more intuitive) way of navigate through tabs in a spreadsheet. Very useful when working with many tabs. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a new file 2. Create many new sheets (AKA tabs), for example 70 new sheets Actual Results: What do you do if you want to move from Sheet1 to Sheet50? Answer: You have to "search" for it it sequentially, ie go from Sheet2 to Sheet50 either by repeatedly pressing the right-pointing arrow or quickly scrolling with the mouse (and probably missing all the names in between). Or you can go directly to Sheet70 (ie using the "'go to last'-arrow" button) and then "come back" with the left arrow until you find Sheet50. That is suboptimal (considering there are tools available to avoid this) and somehow too "mechanical" GUI behavior. Expected Results: I suggest adding a 5th arrow, pointing either up- or downwards, which shows a drop-down menu of all the tabs. I borrowed the idea from Firefox*, please see attached example. This shows in bold font the tab currently in display, and all the other tabs in regular fonts. This is very nice because let's you see at a glance all the tabs with their names, their order and also move very quickly to the one you need to go. This non-linear movement from one tab to another is much more appealing, in my opinion, than the traditional way of sequentially looking for one tab, which makes sense probably only in the 80's when Lotus was developed and early 90's. Anyway, I think it would be a very nice addition for average and new users because it's, in my view, much more "natural" than pressing 50 times a button to scroll 50 tabs. * Honestly I can't remember if it is the default behavior or I have a plugin for this. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I don't know if MS Excel has this, but it would be a nice addition to add a useful tool that other spreadsheet packages don't have... [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119541] New: libreoffice 6.1.0.3 manjaro 4.16.18.1 will not save.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119541 Bug ID: 119541 Summary: libreoffice 6.1.0.3 manjaro 4.16.18.1 will not save. Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rws...@gmail.com Description: Several weeks ago after downloading the recent Manjaro updates Libre Office quit saving files. It wil update an existing file but will not create/save a new one. When I hit Save or Save As the dialog box opens. The File Name box has a suggested folder, Documents. I select ‘Documents’ either from the main display in the box or from the ‘title’box. Same result in the end. I then enter the file name. I have to first clear ‘Documents’ from the entry box. When I try to save the whole application locks. I have to kill it from the terminal. Nothing is saved. On the next ‘open’ there is the usual file recovery option after a crash. The recovered document is blank. An earlier version, 6.0, works fine in the Linux Mint OS. I am using Manjaro 4.16.18.1, Liberoffice build 6.1.0.2 version 6.1.0.3 Thanks Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open LibreOffice text or spreadsheet 2.Create document 3.Save Actual Results: LibreOffice locks and must use the terminal to kill it. Expected Results: Saved file in a new filename Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Version: 6.1.0.3 Build ID: 6.1.0-2 CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 4.16; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3_kde5; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded Works in Safe Mode stopped hardware acceleration and reset user profile. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 116542] distinguishing between role LABEL and a new role STATIC
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116542 --- Comment #19 from Samuel Thibault --- I tried the 24th Aug snapshot (58f2e4690b57f0fa7a95be3a023d54d8967f5529), it does allow to change the widget roles, but the "static" widget role gets mapped to atk's "label" role. I guess the atk library used on the snapshot build host is too old, would it be possible to upgrade it to at least 2.15.2 to get the ATK_ROLE_STATIC macro? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 89477] Images and objects should have an option "Anchor to page (moves with page)" to deal with page breaks
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89477 --- Comment #3 from Stefan --- Hello Cor Nouws, locking something to paragraphs is good for many things, and I use it daily, of course. But for certain types of manuals and instruction sheets I prefer locking object to the page, as there are more images and arrows and such and only few text lines at all. I wondered about the internal logic - locking somthing to page 3 and then inserting a new page before should keep the object with the page it was originally anchored to. It drives me silly to having to move those ibject manually ;) Adding the suggested anchor could: + add a feature that was available in Word for decades + allow to import/convert Word-files with that type of anchor correctly (and thus encurage swapping to Libreoffice :) + make things more logically (at least IMHO) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
