https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95266 --- Comment #20 from Luke Kendall --- Yes, it's pretty infuriating, using a search string that will take you to different comments, that you'd like to edit. After finding the one you want, and clicking in it to start editing it, I find it's more likely Writer will jump away from it to the comment you last edited. I just spent a minute finding the comment I wanted and clicking in it, only to have it jump away to the wrong comment. It did that about four times in a row. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106330] Single click on a selected text box should activate text editing, not double click
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106330 --- Comment #9 from brian.bj.parke...@gmail.com --- Just a final followup. I have just realized that LO Impress actually already supports a key sequence as efficient as what I proposed: in current Impress (Version: 6.1.0.3) the first single click selects the edit box as always, but then a second single click, while appearing to do nothing, in fact selects the insertion point such that simply typing text after the second single click will automatically select edit mode and insert the text in the appropriate spot with no double click required. So I agree, this works for me as well. (In reply to brian.bj.parker99 from comment #8) > (In reply to Regina Henschel from comment #6) > > But a single click on a selected textbox now activates the rotation mode. > > > > You can us key F2 to switch into edit mode of a selected textbox. The text > > cursor is roughly there were the mouse currently hovers the textbox. > > Ok yes, thanks, pressing F2 does what I want. > > I do note that in OS X Impress a single click currently does nothing, and so > could be assigned to give the same effect as F2. (By the way, I can't see > how to activate rotate on single click on OSX). > I do see that that this may be somewhat inconsistent with its function in > Draw, although Impress is where this single click to edit UI would be of > most benefit, I think. > > > (LO version 6.1.0.3) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91828 --- Comment #23 from QA Administrators --- ** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119575 Bug ID: 119575 Summary: Clear recent document list crashes LO Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: alt...@acm.org Description: I seem to have had a problem with the recent document list for a while. By that I mean the document list contains documents that no longer exist (I deleted them) and new documents I've created or opened don't appear there. It's like the list is frozen in time. Today, I tried clearing the list to see if that would fix the issue, but instead it crashed LibreOffice. I was in Calc if that makes a difference. After LO crashes, the Document Recovery dialog appears. I click OK and the dialog goes away and nothing happens. I need to kill the LibreOffice process from Task Manager and open the spreadsheet again. Crash report is here: http://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/37e835c0-86e5-4a3d-b809-076e58fa7686 Steps to Reproduce: I had a "full" recent's list to start with and, as noted above, the list wasn't being updated. 1. Open a spreadsheet 2. File->Recent Documents->Clear List Actual Results: LO crashes. Document Recovery dialog appears listing open documents. Click OK to recover them, the dialog goes away and nothing happens. I need to go into the Task Manager to kill LibreOffice. After killing LO, I can then open a document. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119020 --- Comment #11 from Noel Grandin --- I doubt this is about the specific scaling algorithm in use, although you are welcome to try the others. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119569] New: Open Sub-Form causes PostgreSQL error
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119569 Bug ID: 119569 Summary: Open Sub-Form causes PostgreSQL error Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.4.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Base Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: albrecht.dr...@arcor.de Created attachment 144518 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=144518&action=edit Minimal test case for reproducing the bug I created a LibreOffice document which accesses a PostgreSQL database using the native (“Database type: PostgreSQL”) driver. If a form contains a linked sub-form, opening it will cause a postgres server error message due to a malformed query. Please see the attached minimal test case: - create the test db by calling (as postgres superuser) psql postgres < lotest.sql - open LO-Test.odb, select Forms, and double-click “Testform” This causes the following messages in the Postgresql server log: ERROR: syntax error at or near ":" at character 82 STATEMENT: SELECT * FROM "public"."tab2" WHERE ( 0 = 1 ) AND ( ( "public"."tab2"."ref_id" = :link_from_id ) ) The bug is reproducible with LibreOffice 6.0.4.2 on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and 6.1.0 on Debian Stretch. Apart from the initial faulty query, the form works as expected. Side note: there are some similar but closed issues regarding the JDBC driver where setting an advanced connection option should solve the bug. The PostgreSQL driver apparently doesn't support these options, though (the “Advanced Settings…” menu entry is inactive). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
