[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119411] Contextmenu Writer: Paste Special should be available in all popupmenu files
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119411 --- Comment #12 from Maxim Monastirsky --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #10) > There is nothing else but Unformatted available under Paste Special. The > same as just Paste, right? OK, so you talk about the "More Options..." item which opens the Paste Special dialog? That's indeed not useful to have in the context menu, as currently it only presents formatted vs unformatted choice, and the context menu already has paste and paste as unformatted items. But we might still consider keeping "paste as unformatted", and move it to the top level of the menu, below the ordinary paste (instead of a paste special sub menu). I think that such a highly useful function deserves to be in the context menu. (And in the future, if we get more formats, we could change it back to a sub menu. In fact, when copying from a shape, a comment, or a cell, the clipboard gets 2 formatted options which can be pasted into shapes: ODF flat XML, and RTF. We can expose both in the dialog, but I don't know how useful it will be. In the future, it will be nice to also have HTML there, so it will be possible to e.g. copy formatted text from a browser. We have some code for that in place, but it seems to need more work.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I tested this function for several cases and found some cases where the function is erroneous. In order to reproduce these issues, open the attachment and test some cases within the spread sheet. These error patterns occur alone or together: (1) The tip with the hint how to follow a hyperlink and with the URL of the hyperlink is not displayed. (2) In the tip only the URL is displayed. The hint how to follow the link (“Ctrl-click to follow hyperlink”) is not displayed. (3) The appearance of the mouse pointer changes the appearance to the symbol with the hand also if Ctrl is not pressed. (4) Crtl-Click does not open the hyperlink in your browser. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119675] New: Migration Assistant: User dialog to set treatment of date and time values during migration
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119675 Bug ID: 119675 Summary: Migration Assistant: User dialog to set treatment of date and time values during migration Product: LibreOffice Version: Inherited From OOo Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Base Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: drewjensen.in...@gmail.com The migration of date and time values from an HSQLdb data source to a Firebird data source requires a decision with regards to how to handle the difference between the two data engines interpretation of these values. The HSQL RDBMS (servers and client tools) work with an awareness of the users timezone and use to transform data sent from the client to the server and again from the server to the client. Transforming the data from client_TZ -> UTC(0) when sent and from UTC(0) -> Client_TZ when retrieved. The Firebird RDBMS (servers and client tools) have no such awareness of time zones, writing whatever the client gives to the server. Since the migration assistant in LibreOffie is reading directly from the disc image for the the HSQL data store, with no use of HSQL tools, the value retrieved is always the value relative to the UTC(0) timezone. If that value is written as is into the new Firebird data source the users will see a difference in their data with displayed dates and times adjusting. This change currently happens automatically. The RFE is to add during the migration assistant function a dialog which gives the users the option to move the date as stored or to have the assistant transform the values from the UTC(0)_TZ value to the users Timezone equivalent and therefore maintaining the same values presented to the user on screen and in reports. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119153] Print Previews shortcut listed in File menu doesn't work by default
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119153 --- Comment #13 from Jon --- I changed the "User" folder to "Restore" as suggested and started up Libreoffice. The Ctrl-Shift-O shortcut continues to not work. In the Libreoffice global keyboard customization it shows this shortcut assigned to Print Preview, but it does not work, either in Writer or Calc. It's a bit of a side note, but I can't help but wonder... If a shortcut is assigned in the global keyboard customization, but doesn't show in the Writer or Calc customization also (as is the case), wouldn't this create a situation where a person could unintentionally override a global shortcut by changing the local shortcut in Writer or Calc? Maybe not a real likely scenario, but it would seem more logical to me (ignorant as I am of the inner workings of the program), that a global shortcut should be repeated in the local keyboard customization. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119674 Bug ID: 119674 Summary: FILEOPEN: PPTX import WordArt is invisible when Pattern Fill Used Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: lukebe...@hotmail.com Created attachment 144644 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=144644&action=edit Sample WordArt with Solid Fill and Pattern Fill The OOXML importer does not handle patterns for WordArt Steps to reproduce: 1. In PowerPoint, Insert WordArt 2. Text Fill -> Pattern Fill -> Any pattern 3. Save, and open in Impress If our FontWork engine cannot support this feature, we should read the pattern color and use that as a sold fill, so the text is not invisible. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Hi Xisco, you must have a registered database which needs a password. I have tested this with a registered MariaDB on my server. So it could be bibisected only by someone, who has a registered database, which needs a password. I will attach an *.odb-file for a registered database. Will hope it will ask for a password without any existing database behind. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
