[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 120068] Table Formatting is forgotten if I delete/add a column
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120068 --- Comment #5 from Jim Raykowski --- If the table has an autoformat style, as the table in Example file does, Simple List Shaded, the table style will replace all direct formatting on any row or column delete or insert. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92406] STATUSBAR: Making the statusbar configurable in Writer
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92406 --- Comment #7 from Tom Colley --- I think customization of status bar issues could be solved by allowing users to specify for each item in the status bar: - hide/show - high/normal display priority - left-right order of display Some algorithm could be deployed to share the display space between items on this basis. An easy "reset to default" option would be pragmatic for saving novice users from "fiddling" errors. Personally, I rely on the zoom buttons for Writer and Calc but often find they disappear when I'm sharing a single screen with multiple applications. Having this capability in Calc would also give me/others continual access to the useful "Selection Sum/Count/etc." facility, which often gets hidden. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

However, there is still potential confusion in the naming of functions: - Some names are still abbreviated and never spelled out ("StDev" and "Var"), which makes it less accessible for people who don't know what they stand for; - The layout and the pivot table headers do not make the distinction between the variations of Count, StDev, and Var: both the layout and the pivot table headers only show "Var" for both "Var" and "VarP", "StDev" for both "StDev" and "StDevP", and "Count" for "Count" and "Count (numbers only)". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64242 --- Comment #23 from Justin L --- Suggested help content (note that the proposed commit is the implementation of the description - not an edit to the help. In other words, it is an implementation of my suggestion in comment 19.) Distribute columns evenly: Adjusts the width of the selected columns so that each column has the same width, regardless of content. The table width remains unchanged. Minimize column width: Adjusts the width of the selected columns to fit the selected content. The table can shrink if necessary, but will not grow. (This is how Optimize column width worked in LO <= 6.1.) https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/60902 tdf#64242 sw add minimize table col/row UI Optimize column width: Adjusts the width of the selected columns to fit the selected content, without changing the width of the table. Any leftover space is distributed proportionately, with thin columns growing slightly, and wide columns growing much wider. https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/60905 tdf#64242 sw optimal column width, not minimize Distribute rows evenly: Adjusts the height of the selected rows to match the height of the tallest row in the selection (regardless of the content), causing the table to grow. Minimize row height: Adjusts the height of the selected rows to fit the content, causing the table to shrink. (This is how Optimize row height worked in LO <= 6.1.) (same commit as minimize column width) Optimize row height: Adjust the height of the selected rows to match the height of the tallest row in the selection (fit to content), without shrinking the table. This option is the same as minimizing row height and then distributing rows evenly except that it adds the benefit of preventing the table from shrinking. https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/60903 tdf#64242 sw optimal row height, not minimize -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
