Muso, thank you for clarification. As a workaround you can easily type
"Abbildung" instead of "Figures" in the Insert Caption dialog.

Perhaps your bug is a duplicate of bug 104089.

Do you mean something like "should a difference in regexp handling between
LibreOffice and egrep be considered a bug"? No, we use a different regexp
library - ICU (and generally, there are lots of regexp implementations, with
different behaviours [1] [2]); the only thing that matters is that LibreOffice
works as described in its own help.

Yes, Galaxy use diamond to represent contour on/off. will try to set different
icons as Galaxy has.

As a side note TBH, I personally a little confuse with wrapping in LibO, For
example wrap through the icon it self show image under text but in reality it
vice versa.

Could someone please see wrapping icons in Karasa Jaga theme to see if the
object representation (as leaf) is not suitable?

The idea is to synchronize object handlers to the color of elementary's
bezier/node corner which has white color.

Should it change to be dark gray instead just like selected node in picture
above?

Dear Telesto,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

> Do you agree?
No, I would not say so. It seems related, though. Bug 61558 has a lot of
unclear discussion going on. But deciding from the attached file: With or
without comments, I have problems even opening the document. The whole
navigation is very laggy.
So I'd say: the cause MIGHT be the same as 61558, but the symptoms are slightly
different.

This is about my bug here:

While scrolling without comments on the screen I have no problem.
While scrolling with comments on the screen I have:
(program "top" output:)
- I have 50 to 55% CPU usage for soffice.bin .
- I have 45 to 50% CPU usage for Xorg .
(program "gnome-system-monitor output)
- I have 5% CPU usage for soffice.bin .

Memory is not constantly increasing.

Comparison to bug 61558:
- Memory usage keeps increasing
( here: I can't see increasing memory in my bug. )
- Scrolling in general causes problems
( here: I only have problems, if comments are shown. )

screenshot of GTKFileChooser not showing xdg-user-dirs

Hi,

I'm using the LibreOffice flatpak version (6.2.4.2) from flathub on Debian Sid
64 bits with GNOME-X11.

When I want to save a document, File Chooser doesn't show any of my
xdg-user-dirs.

Note that I have changed default xdg-user-dirs in ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs : my
xdg-user-dirs are located in /mnt/ – for instance XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR is
/mnt/data/Documents (/mnt/data/ is on a second drive).

I'm able though to browse /mnt/data/ and open my xdg-user-dirs from there.

See screenshot attached

Note that this bug may be related to those I also have with other applications

This doesn't solve the problem. I don't want to set a fixed language for the
caption labels but the language of the document should be used - independent of
the LO menu language.

Note, I don't use AutoCaption because about half of the images I insert to
texts are small ones without a caption.

The issue is designated as major and I suppose someone could make a point of
pointing out to the ESC that this should be treated as a show stopper for a
release. The fix should address both this use case and the form/subform use
case, at least I would expect it is a common code issue.

On the other hand both situations should be really easy to fix after the fact
also, it's a couple lines of basic (copy past and run once) would fix it
permanently for effected files, IIRC.

  Hardware: All

 Component: Calc

Description:
Dialog option text needs to be changed for right to left spreadsheets,

correct).

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open/create a right to left spreadsheet (with some data in it)
2. Right click on a cell
3. Select "Insert..."

Actual Results:
The second option on the dialog box says "Shift cells right".

Expected Results:
For right to left spreadsheets, this should actually say "Shift cells left"

Reproducible: Always

Additional Info:
The functionality works correctly, shifting cells to the left - only the dialog
text needs to be changed.

AFAIC, whole Firebird part should be experimental.
See discussion here:
http://document-foundation-mail-archive.969070.n3.nabble.com/Base-without-HSQL-support-td4262421.html
The more the time goes by the more the lack of expert dev resources in Base
becomes crucial.

Do we really want to set the migration from "experimental" to "non

The migration will run and we will get many feedbacks about
forms with subforms, which do not run,
queries with parameters, which do not run ...

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125864] New: Safer application of options for each filter criterium in a pivot table

2019-06-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125864

Bug ID: 125864
Summary: Safer application of options for each filter criterium
in a pivot table
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: markus.elfr...@web.de

I have tried pivot table functionality out again from the software “LibreOffice
Calc 6.2.4.2-821.3” (Build-ID: 20(Build:2)).
The filtering options “Case sensitive” and “Regular expressions” are described.
https://help.libreoffice.org/6.2/en-US/text/scalc/01/12090104.html

* It seems that they are applied to all selected columns so far.
I would find it occasionally more appropriate to restrict these options to a
smaller column list.

* The information “If the Regular Expression check box is selected, you can use
EQUAL (=) and NOT EQUAL (<>) also in comparisons.” was published.
Will it be more helpful for this usage variant to offer less operators in the
drop down list “Condition”?

* How is the mentioned function list mapped to possible operators?

The likely cause for it being difficult to simply manage show/hide is:
commit 2dda396f4de051cccf3442f17c84bf2ff5d1db1d
Author: Michael Stahl
Date: Tue Jan 8 13:32:05 2019 +0100
tdf#122452 sw_redlinehide: WW8 import/export sets layout show/hide mode
... and not SetRedlineFlags(), similar to the way the ODF filter does it.

The RTF/DOCX filters don't appear to be able to export the show/hide
flag currently, they can only handle the enabled flag.
