There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126415] Seems to be missing API to get a cell from a row
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126415 Mike Kaganski changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|WORKSFORME |NOTABUG --- Comment #3 from Mike Kaganski --- The row object is a cell range. It implements relevant services (e.g., com.sun.star.sheet.SheetCellRange, com.sun.star.table.CellRange), and interfaces (com.sun.star.table.XCellRange, com.sun.star.sheet.XCellRangeData, com.sun.star.sheet.XCellRangeFormula). The mentioned getCellByPosition (a method of XCellRange interface) allows you to get com.sun.star.table.XCell. You need to understand that indexing in a cell range object is relative to the range bounds; so for a given row (= a rectangular range of 1 row and many columns), the possible indices passed to aRow.getCellByPosition(colIx, rowIx) are 0..1048575 for colIx, and 0 for rowIx (regardless which row is represented by this aRow object). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118370] place text when importing from PDF in one text box instead many text boxes with one string
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118370 --- Comment #16 from Regina Henschel --- Created attachment 152799 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=152799=edit Some text documents Hi Justin, here are some test documents. Please do not try to address all such edge cases. They will not appear in PDF import. But you should be aware, that they exist. Instead clearly describe the purpose of your tool in the release notes. I cannot test your new version of the patch before Friday. Perhaps someone else has time to test it earlier. So please be patient. "Text along path" is a feature for paths and curves, but works too on text boxes, circles and rectangles. It is named "Fontwork". But that term conflicts with the "Fontwork" from the "Fontwork Gallery". Therefore I prefer to say "Text along path". With this term you will find it in other applications like Corel Draw. You need a shape with text (not a custom shape!) and then click on one of the right four icons in the first line of the Fontwork-dialog. The uno-command for opening and closing the dialog for "Text along path" is .uno:FontWork. You need to customize the UI to get it. It has the name "Fontwork" and is in category "Format". The shapes from the "Fontwork Gallery" are those, which are named "WordArt" in Microsoft Office and are a special mode of custom shapes. Inside the code you need to be careful, what feature is meant, if a variable or method contains "fontwork" in its name. A similar confusion is about "callout". There exists a group of custom shapes, which are named "Callouts". But on the other hand there exists the icon "Callouts" in the Text toolbox. You need to customize your UI to get this toolbox. The command for the toolbox is in category Drawing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

See https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=06032019i and https://developer.apple.com/documentation/security/notarizing_your_app_before_distribution for more details. While users may run LibreOffice on 10.15 by right-clicking the app icon and choosing "Open" (the classic way to bypass Gatekeeper in macOS), this is not immediately obvious, and the ominous alert Apple gives ("LibreOffice can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.") may scare some users off. Would you like to migrate to Firebird now?" However, answering "Yes" leaves me with corrupted data. Test case: attachment 135786 (originally created for bug 112023). This small sample base contains these data: MyTimestampMyDouble 01-01-2015 00:00:011.2345 01-01-2015 00:00:153.1415 which in standard formatting are shown like MyTimestampMyDouble 01-01-15 00:00 1.23 01-01-15 00:00 3.14 Opening the sample database in LO 6.2.5.2, or answering "Later" to migration, this is how the data appear. However, answering "Yes" to migration, the time data are shifted one hour, and the decimal data are completely corrupted: MyTimestampMyDouble 31-12-14 23:00 0 31-12-14 23:00 1.10E+227 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Re-open sample database, click on "Tables" and answer "Yes" to migration 6. Open Table 1 and notice corrupted data Actual Results: After migration, timestamps are shifted by 1 hour and numeric data are corrupted. Expected Results: After migration, all data should be as originally. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: The link https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/HowTo/MigrateFromHSQLDB confirms that migration is buggy, including the bug that shifts timestamps by 1 or 2 hours. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118370 --- Comment #15 from Justin L --- I updated my proposal to patch set 3. (In reply to Regina Henschel from comment #14) Thanks for giving your opinion that this should NOT be opened up to general shapes, but should be strictly for textboxes. I've limited it to OBJ_TEXT items. > Grouped textboxes: enter group, consolidate, and everything vanishes. Kinda fixed with another sledgehammer approach to just ungrouping everything. I have no idea what is going on behind the scenes here. I suspect that either objects are being freed, or SdrOutliner is being reset. > If the layer is locked, the new text box is inserted in this layer anyway. I changed the code so that the new text box is inserted into the current layer. I wasn't able to discover the locked status of the layer though, since the only lock function [IsLockedODF()] reports on something different. > "Consolidate Text" works on Callouts and presentation objects too. I can't reproduce. In my testing, callouts are !IsTextFrame(), so they shouldn't have been included. However, since the code is now modified to only include OBJ_TEXT, perhaps it works as you expect now. > Numbered list in one text box followed by numbered list in the next text > box is turned into a bullet list in my tests. I can't reproduce. > * Text boxes in "text along path"-mode are treated too. I couldn't figure out how to create these. It sounds like you may have developed a fairly comprehensive test document. Perhaps you could attach it to this report. That would be helpful. > If only one text box is marked together with another shape, then the > text box is replaced by a new one, losing name, description and style. Now that only OBJ_TEXT are supported, this was easily fixed. > * If the user marks a shape in addition, the size and position for the new > text box is taken from the entire marked area. However, the version I was using (6.2.0.2) has some bugs in dealing with a secondary X axis. That is, it is only possible to change the scale to values from 0 to 100. I thought I had checked this in other versions but it looks like I did not. When reporting a bug, it is important to specify which versions are affected. I don't know why I did not do that or test this in other versions. I have now checked versions 6.1.6.3, 6.2.4.2, and 6.3. In all of those versions, it is possible to change the values to negative numbers and to numbers greater than 100. Thus, since it is possible to change the scale, the secondary X-axis is more useful than I thought. I will attempt to clarify what it does in the documentation. I now think that this bug report does not need to be acted upon. I don't know what the process is for indicating that a bug report can be disregarded and hope that someone else can do that. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104479] Export as PDF of ODT with JPGs produces much larger PDFs
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104479 --- Comment #49 from Yannick Chiron --- Trying to create a sample with the faulty behaviour, I wanted to blur people's faces on the picture. But then I noticed that the pdf export had a correct size. After many attempts, I tried to delete the original picture from the original odt file, save the odt file, reinsert the same picture, and do export as pdf with no loss again. And now it has a correct size as well. This lets me very confuse, as I don't know what is sometimes happening, so that my pdf export would be big. But it seems that in these cases, one picture imported is responsible, and delete/save/reimport save the problem. I will add that before inserting the pictures, they all are opened in GIMP 2.10.12 to be cropped, resized, compressed, but that only some of them would provoke the bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
