[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126556] New: AutoFilter options reset after changing active sheet.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126556 Bug ID: 126556 Summary: AutoFilter options reset after changing active sheet. When getting back to the place edited before, I see that top arrows of the filtered columns are all grey, although the data remain chosen and sorted. If I open the dialogue, all the checkboxes are checked on as if these were not off before. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a table, fill in with values. I have got 18 columns * 450 rows. 2.Make AutoFilter, hide some values in some columns. 3.Go to another sheet, then go to the previous table. Actual Results: AutoFilter seems like no row is hidden. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125921 --- Comment #10 from Alexander M. --- Hello, I know this bug is marked as FIXED, and it is indeed mostly fixed, but I wanted to ask here before opening a new bug: I tested 6.3 (the AppImage version) and I noticed that, while top-level windows do indeed change their WM_CLASS correctly now and therefore stay grouped, the Open/Save file dialog still shows up as "soffice.bin" and as a result creates a second entry in the taskbar when it is invoked, as if it were a separate application, instead of being grouped with the LO app that invoked it. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126551] New: Copy and Paste failure
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126551 Bug ID: 126551 Summary: Copy and Paste failure Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.5.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: bugzi...@282k.com Created attachment 152991 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=152991&action=edit Original document test as seen in text above. After installing LibreOffice 6.2.5.2, I found two problems. First, Clear Formatting causes the text to revert to "default" instead of "Text Body". But when I past something from my desktop software, WordSearchBible (wordsearchbible.com) I get a blank "default" line. Here is a paste from the Word Processor where I explain the issue: == LibreOffice Writer 6.2.5.2 Paste Failure 1Co 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, 3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? (NASB) I started this document with the heading, hit return and got the Text Body style. I pasted in the text as you see in the second paragraph. This only works once. I skipped the third paragraph and started this forth paragraph. Below, I enter 3 paragraphs (hit enter) and then paste the same copy into the middle one. You will see, the middle paragraph turned to Default Style, but there is no text. In the next paragraph, I will copy and paste the 2nd paragraph two paragraphs down. This will work. 1Co 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, 3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? (NASB) If I paste special- text only, I get the text as you see below (I am using a fresh copy) 1Co 3:4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. 7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. (NASB) You can see that the copy pasted the unformatted text and converted the paragraph to Default Style. What I have been doing as a work-around is to paste the text into WordPad, then copy and paste the text from WP into here. Here is the same copy as the black copy above, but pasted into WP, then copied and pasted here: 1Co 3:4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. 7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. (NASB) 1Co 3:4 For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not mere men? 5 What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. 7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. (NASB) I pasted it twice so you can see that I can paste it multiple times this way. I can only paste from the software one time in any given document. I can't do it again. Today, I am reverting LibreOffice back to 6.1.6.x since I didn't seem to have the issue with that version. If you need a copy of WORDSearch Bible to test with, I think I can arrange to get you a free copy for testing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126550] New: A wide image (4 x 1 inches), after rotated, cannot be properly aligned to the top left margin
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126550 Bug ID: 126550 Summary: A wide image (4 x 1 inches), after rotated, cannot be properly aligned to the top left margin Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.5.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: wss9...@gmail.com Description: I inserted a wide image that was slightly over 4x1 inches into the first page of a Writer document. It was a logo to go to the left or right of the title text. I rotated it 90 degrees. After that point I tried various ways to get the image to the top left margin. The image is set to Wrap optimally. Dragging it just put the image back where it started. I tried changing the anchor to various options. I wanted it anchored to the page, so I finally left it there. >From Properties by changing alignment to Top and Left, it still did not work. It acted as though, even though the image is now tall and skinny due to rotation and a 1x4 instead of a 4x1, that it was trying to align based upon the non-rotated 4x1 image when anchoring. Steps to Reproduce: 1. In Writer, add some title text (mine 18 words) 2. Set text to left justify 3. Insert an image 4 inches wide by 1 inch tall or any such aspect ratio 4. Set image Anchor to Page 5. Rotate that image 90 degrees 6. Set Wrap to Optimal Page Wrap 7. Try any way possible to get that image to be positioned to the top, left margin of the page. Actual Results: Dragging the image puts it right back on mouse release. Some other options moves the top of the image completely off the page. Changing the Anchor type doesn't help. There seems to be no way to get that rotated image where you want it. Rotating the image back to normal 4 wide, 1 tall, allows proper alignment easily. Expected Results: To be able to place the image as desired. But as far as I can tell almost everything works perfectly at the moment, and the only thing that doesn't (pre-edit text not being underlined) is not a LO-specific issue because I can reproduce it in other Qt or KDE apps (and is also not really relevant because it's an entirely different issue than this one). I will set this to UNCONFIRMED, but seeing as the original bug report is very old and the last user comment is from 3 years old, and since I can be sure from personal experience that there are no real problems with fcitx input in LO, I think this could be marked as fixed. It should have a clearer label (e.g. "Edit header/footer content") and probably be placed directly under the "Enable Header" checkbox.
