Thanks Robert

I solved (MY) problem (getting up early this morning)

Using Version 6.1.
testing falling back till 5.7. but

The Problem is the mysql Native driver 1.0.1

Going back to JDBC driver its fine again you even get
an error message complaining about the TIME values
I succeeded to enter with the native diver.:

--
Die Dateninhalte konnten nicht aktualisiert werden.

The value '30:00:00' is an invalid TIME value. (I entered 12:30)
JDBC Time objects represent a wall-clock time
and not a duration as MySQL treats them .
--

LO 5.7 refuses to load Mysql-native 1.0.2 under Debian 9.0
('auf diesem System nicht lauffähig)

So back to JDBC and forget about nativeDriver(for some time)

But it would be nice to work with a native driver - wouldn't it

NEVER change drivers that was the lesson I just learned

   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: libreoff...@nisz.hu

Description:
Word has 5 presets for the rectangular gradient fill type: from top/bottom
left/right corner and from center. When this kind of fill is set in a chart the
Center X/Y position of the fill is imported (also exported) incorrectly.

Steps to Reproduce:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached example document in Word and Writer

Actual Results:
>From bottom and top right corner preset is imported as ellipsoid with 100% X
and 30% Y values.
>From Center preset is imported as radial with 50% X and 50% Y values, this look
like in Word.
>From bottom left corner is imported as ellipsoid with 30% X and 100% Y values.
>From top left corner is imported as ellipsoid with 30% X and 30% Y values.

When saved and reloaded, all values get 30% X and 30% Y except for the From
center case which is retained correctly as Radial 50% X / 50% Y.

Expected Results:
Similar looks as in Word.

In 6.4 alpha1, when RT DOC opens with LO, field is not read-only, but doesn't
look as it should, with dropdown arrow.
But more importantly, when that saved DOC is open with MSO, there's no field.
So bug stays open.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128795] New: FILEOPEN DOCX Rectangular gradient fill Center XY position imported/exported incorrectly

2019-11-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128795

Bug ID: 128795
Summary: FILEOPEN DOCX Rectangular gradient fill Center XY
position imported/exported incorrectly
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha1+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: libreoff...@nisz.hu

Description:
Word has 5 presets for the rectangular gradient fill type: from top/bottom
left/right corner and from center. When this kind of fill is set in a chart the
Center X/Y position of the fill is imported (also exported) incorrectly.

Steps to Reproduce:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached example document in Word and Writer

Actual Results:
Actual results:
>From bottom left and right corner settings get 100% and 100% X/Y values and
become effectively a solid blue fill.
>From center setting gets 50% and 50% values, this looks effectively the same as
in Word.
>From top right corner setting gets 100% X and 30% Y values, this looks
effectively the same as in Word.
>From top left corner setting gets 30% X and 30% Y values, this looks more
horizontally centered than in Word. 0% X would look more similar.

After save to DOCX, the values change to 30% X and 30% Y in all cases.

Expected Results:
Similar looks as in Word.

Reproducible: Always

Could you open Help -> About and paste the version information here?

This is supposed to be the string:

But this has the accelerator on D like on Stuart's image and not on n like on
your image. So I'm unsure what's going on.

In current 6.2.5 and 6.3.2 I see this translated properly.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128797] New: FILEOPEN XLSX Detective marks cells invalid if number is stored in text cell

2019-11-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128797

Bug ID: 128797
Summary: FILEOPEN XLSX Detective marks cells invalid if number
is stored in text cell
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha0+
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: libreoff...@nisz.hu

Description:
Attached user made XLXS file contains some numbers stored in text formatted
cells. Some are marked by Excel as number stored as text, some are not.
There is cell validation set up as text length >0 to ensure cells are filled.
When the detective is used to mark invalid data, the numbers that are not
stored as text are marked as invalid after file open, but if they are changed
in length the detective does not mark them as invalid anymore.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open attached file in Excel and Calc. It contains some numbers in cells
formatted as text, and Excel marks A2 and A7 as number stored as text but not
the rest.
2. Choose Tools – Detective – Mark Invalid Data in Calc and Data –
Validation – Circle Invalid Data in Excel.

Actual Results:
Excel marks the empty A8 cell as invalid. Calc marks A3-A6 as well, since those
are just numbers.
Changing their length and rerunning Mark Invalid Data removes their invalid
marking.
This does not happen in an ODS file that contains numbers in text formatted
cells.

Expected Results:
Calc should not mark cells A3-A6 after opening the file.

Reproducible: Always

(In reply to Gareth from comment #52)

I don't know where you got the "Neutral locale language : 0" part from. While
that works accidentally, it's wrong. There is no such text part in the filter
options, what happens here is that the string value is parsed away and taken as
zero. That by chance results in the system language/locale. I assume you read a
description of the parameter somewhere and inserted the entire description as
filter value.

The calc_HTML_WebQuery filter's parameters are two numbers separated by one
space, so a valid filter string here would be

  --infilter="calc_HTML_WebQuery":"0 0"

The first number is the MS-LCID of the language/locale to use (0 for default),
the second number is a boolean value whether dates and "special numbers" are to
be converted to numeric or kept as strings.

This tip is about Draw only, and therefor the image is "tipoftheday_d.png" (*_d

We can rephrase and include Draw in the text or resolve as WFM. Up to you.

Please open a new bug report. This is about an extension dead- or life-locking
LO in the kf5 and gen backend. Your bug is some broken VclPtr handling, which
triggers an assertion in debug builds.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128799] New: Numbers on the vertical axis of Calc Graphs go crazy when moving when moving the core "graph" object inside the picture

2019-11-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128799

Bug ID: 128799
Summary: Numbers on the vertical axis of Calc Graphs go crazy
when moving when moving the core "graph" object inside
the picture
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.3.3.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: silva...@katamail.com

Description:
When editing a graph in Calc, you can select and move around in the space
covered by the picture the main object it where lines or rectangles are shown.
However, when you do this, the numbers showing the metric on the Y-axis do not
always stay in the format you set: sometimes they disappear altogether or in
part, or change format with unpredictable results

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the attached file. In it you'll find a few data and a graph displaying
them. Double click on it to edit.
2. Now click on any point in the space between the two axis, to select the main
part of the graph inside the figure. Drag and move it around repeatedly and in
a casual fashion.
3.when you stop dragging and release, sometimes the look of the graph remains
correct, but in other apparently random instances the numbers visible alongside
the vertical axis disappear, or lose some decimals, or corrupt in some way.
Dragging the object again, they can be restored or not, the way this works is
difficult to grasp

Actual Results:
numbers on the vertical axis can become corrupted when dragging the graph
object inside the picture.

Expected Results:
Such numbers should not change in any way when moving the graph object around

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128800] New: INDEX function behaviour inconsistent with function wizard and 'tooltip'

2019-11-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128800

Bug ID: 128800
Summary: INDEX function behaviour inconsistent with function
wizard and 'tooltip'
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.8.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: knit...@mailbox.org

Created attachment 155815
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=155815&action=edit
inconsistentcy in function wizard

Single row/column range with the INDEX function behave inconsistent.

When selecting a single row/column range the documentation states:
"If reference is a one-dimensional column vector, column
is optional or can be omitted. If reference is a one-
dimensional row vector, row is optional, which effectively
makes row act as the column offset into the vector, or can
be omitted."

But the real behaviour is that the optional column/row parameters 'have' to be
omitted. When entering the function manually or in the function wizard and
specify '1' as the row(/column) in a single row(/column) array the value gets
used as the column(/row) index instead. (see screenshot)

try:
B1:B2 {=INDEX(A1:A2,1)}

real behaviour: the target area gets filled with the content of first cell of
the source array. B1=A1 B2=A1
expected behaviour (option1): the target area gets filled with the first row of
the source array: B1=A1 B2=A2
expected behaviour (option2): the function wizard and the tooltip detect that
the source range/array is a single column/row and reflect that in the interface
somehow. (this may be hard if the source range has to be calculated)

This is a different Mac OS X. On 10.15.1 is crashes all the time. The

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128801] New: switching from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratio warps images and formulas

2019-11-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128801

Bug ID: 128801
Summary: switching from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratio warps images
and formulas
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.3.2.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: thekswen...@gmail.com

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new presentation in 4:3 format
2. Import an image
3. Put a formula under the image
4. Choose Slide->Properties...->Format and resize to 16:9

The problem is that both of these objects are now down-scaled vertically but
not horizontally.

If instead, you choose to uncheck the box "fit object to paper format", then
all the content at the bottom of the slide will run off the bottom of the newly
formatted slide.

Why doesn't the switch to 16:9 simply widen the slide equally on both sides? It
looks like the current implementation fixes width while making the height
smaller.
