The text/object frames have a small overlay widget that allows to insert a table, chart, audio/video, or image. And this image replaces the active frame using its width or height. Personally I would hate when I have to resize the five or so thumbnail-sized images I insert to illustrate some text. And even more relevant is the fact that the overlay widget is available only in case of empty frames. What happens when you insert the image after text has been entered? A temporary solution is creating a strong directionality barrier between the language sequences using Insert → Formatting mark → Left-to-right mark (this won't work in the first line of paragraph tough, why? I don't know) Long-term solution treating non-letters characters as letters in LO. The general functioning of embedded hsqldb in an ODB file is that any data changes not flushed to the hsqldb instance will potentially be lost if the connection is lost. As the ODB file only loads some of the data from the recordset into RAM, and the newly modified data forms part of that volatile memory space, any connection drop or cut out will potentially lead to data loss. Some of that might be recoverable from a lock file (LCK) that LO creates when opening an ODB file with embedded hsqldb database. However, the data in the lock file may or may not be exploitable, and in theory will disappear if the ODB file is closed cleanly. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Add 50-60 end notes in A5 (enough to fill at least 2 pages) 2.try to add an heading 3.try to add a page breack after endnotes Actual Results: EndNots seems to be an object detached from the rest of book (yes, i'm writing a book 370 pages). I can't decide where add endnotes list I con't organize my tocs (list of figure, list of tables, detailed index, endnotes, biography, etc).
