[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129364] New: Table editing in Impress contain so many bugs
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129364 Bug ID: 129364 Summary: Table editing in Impress contain so many bugs Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.8.2 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: g4827...@trbvm.com Description: 1. Cannot move the table like other text boxes with keyboard arrows 2. Default template models are missing the most commonly used model, no background & black thin edges around every cell! 3. When you change the font size and model inside the whole table by choosing every cell, and after that split cell or insert row, it will get the font size from some default template and not from surrounding cells! this is NUTS! 4. When selecting this new empty cell, the font and font size selections are same as other cells, but after you type then it changes to default. And even before that the cell/row is size of default. AND you need to change the font 2 times to get it to what you want. 5. Sometimes when pasteing text from sublime text, it does not give you to paste as unformatted text, bt still when pasteing as normal text, it has some font styles with it. 6. How are you supposed to get all the VOIKKO (finnish dictionary) and other settings plugins & their settings into the libre office after you update it? When i updated, all settings seems to dissapear, actually the whole plugin dissapeared and it had my custom words, many of them Steps to Reproduce: 1.open impress 2. insert table 3.change it's font to small, like 8 direclty and add black border Actual Results: bad Expected Results: good Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

From the documentation: "If you are creating a style based on another style (linked style), you can specify a font size relative to that other style—either as a percentage or as a plus or minus point value (–2pt or +5pt) To specify a percentage font size: in the Paragraph Style dialog, select the Font tab. In the Size box, enter the percentage amount followed by the symbol % (see Figure 9). Similarly, you can enter a plus or minus sign followed by the number of points to be added or subtracted from the base font size." [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128674] Do not use "System" bitmap font on the MSI package
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128674 --- Comment #7 from Mike Kaganski --- Segoe UI is the recommended font for Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, and Arabic scripts, but does not include Chinese characters, as well as some other sets [1]. We have several options here. 1. Revert the change that introduced Segoe UI. This would bring Tahoma back. I don't think it's a good change. 2. Make the font used in TextStyle table [2] part of localizable strings. So Chinese Simplified localization team could change "Segoe UI" to, say, "Microsoft YaHei". Pro: single-place change affecting all places. 3. Pre-populate all the recommended fonts to the TextStyle table (so that it contains not the single "DialogDefault" entry, but also "DialogDefaultJaJp" etc), and let localization teams translate all the strings containing "{}Welcome to the Installation Wizard for [ProductName]" into "{}...". Pro: some places could not need the change -> flexibility. But change in every such string is needed. Personally I'd prefer #2 - but I honestly don't know how all the installer dialogs should look like, and what those fonts contain, so no idea e.g. how "LibreOffice" string with Latin characters would look like using those fonts recommended for e.g. Chinese Simplified. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129363 Bug ID: 129363 Summary: FORMATTING, UI: Add the option to reset the Area property so that it will be re-assigned to the parent style Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: johnsmithbeat...@gmail.com Description: 1. Open the properties of some paragraph style based on Default Style. For example, Table Contents. 2. Select Area tab, then select Hatch, then select red color for your hatch and then press OK to close the window. 3. Insert some table to be sure its cells have red hatch. Just for convenience. 4. Reopen the window of the Table Contents style and repeat the previous steps: select Area tab and then select Hatch. Press Standard button. Note that it doesn't reset the hatching to that of the parent style, i.e. to none. To reset the hatching to none you need select Area tab and then None. But from now, the hatching of the Table Contents style will not inherit the hatching of its parent style. So that, if you add some hatching to Default Style, then Table Contents will not have it. The only way I have found to fix it is to manually edit styles.xml, i.e. manually remove this: ``` ``` The lack of this enhancement could be very frustrating for some users. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129358] New: CALC: Inserting or deleting cells above a referenced range results incorrect adjustments to the range witin functions.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129358 Bug ID: 129358 Summary: CALC: Inserting or deleting cells above a referenced range results incorrect adjustments to the range witin functions. Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.8.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: nsleh...@gmail.com Description: Error Type One: inserting one row above referenced range results in one bad function range. Error Type Two: inserting multiple rows above referenced range results in all bad function ranges. The following functions will result in these two errors: 'insert entire rows above' 'insert entire rows below' 'shift cells down' above referenced range 'shift cells up' above referenced range The following functions will not result in these errors: 'shift cells down' above cells containing function 'shift cells up' above cells containing function 'delete entire rows' 'shift cells right' 'insert or delete column' Steps to Reproduce: Error Type One: inserting one row above referenced range 1. Copy formula =sum(A1:A4) to first ten cells in column B. 2. Highlight entire row 1 by right click on 1 label then 'insert rows above'. Error Type Two: inserting multiple rows above referenced range Copy formula =sum(A1:A4) to first ten cells in column B. Highlight cel1s A1:B2 then right click then 'insert' 'shift cells down' ok. Actual Results: Error Type One Result: function in B2 is wrong =sum(A1:A5) Note: function in B3 is correct =sum(A3:A6) with the rest cells correct. Error Type Two Result: function in B2 is wrong =sum(A1:A6) Note: function in B3 is wrong =sum(A1:A7) with the rest cells wrong Expected Results: Type One: function in B2 correct =sum(A2:A5) Type Two: function in B2 correct =sum(A3:A6) function in B3 correct=(A4:A7) ect. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Libre office is an amazing open source accomplishment and I commend everyone who has worked on this collabertive effort. This problem did not exist in older versions of calc. I did not catch this error in my calculations for more than six months and it has cost me financially. I always used the older tested business version. Moving referenced ranges a is such a basic, core feature, central to any spreadsheet program, it seems crazy that I might be the first person to discover an error this serious. I can no longer trust the code and will return to commercial software. Maybe try again in the future with better bug testing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
