https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105111 --- Comment #9 from Mike Kaganski --- In fact, this relates to all context-sensitive toolbars in all modules (like Table or Bullets and Numbering in Writer), and is not specific to closing toolbars only; you also cannot *open* such a toolbar permanently - which is just the same issue: user is *unable* to explicitly express own decision on showing/hiding those toolbars, and creating own toolbars with same controls is not a solution, since it adds static toolbars to the context-sensitive ones that keep appearing/disappearing. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67919 --- Comment #8 from QA Administrators --- Dear Boris Dušek, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115655] Collapsing a cell range with an image inside it makes the image disappear after saving and reloading
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115655 --- Comment #12 from Regina Henschel --- (In reply to Xisco Faulí from comment #11) > @Regina, since you fixed bug 119191, I thought you might be interested in > this issue... Yes, but I will not have much time in the next weeks. Workaround: Do not anchor the image with "to cell (resize with cell)" but use "to cell". If the row is resized to 0cm height because of collapsing, the image will resize to 0cm height too in case of anchor "to cell (resize with cell)". When you reopen the collapsed version, you see in the Navigator, that the image still exists. Expand the group, then double-click the image entry in the Navigator to select the image. You should see some green handles. If you use the Position dialog, it tells you a height of 0,01mm, if you use the Crop-dialog it tells you a height of 1%. Errors which I see: The image does not grow if the group is expanded. If you use "Original size" from context menu, it does not set it to original size. If you use the Crop-dialog and set Scale to 100%, the anchor moves to cell A1 and the image looses its position. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130114] Freeze when trying to save edited document in .doc format
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130114 --- Comment #6 from lesl...@mymts.net --- Dieter, I am an ignorant end user. I know enough to be able to install the version you suggest, but not enough to know the consequences of my doing so for continued use of my current version of LO. I'm afraid that, by installing the version you suggest, I might be throwing out the baby with the bathwater. My suspicion has been all along that there's something wrong with the particular file that I sent you, since I've found no problem with LO when I work on other documents (and spreadsheets) that I've created. My hope was that expert examination of the file would be able to find what it was about LO that made the particular file go wrong (maybe the bit that saves files in .doc format?). It seems, if I understand things correctly, that you and someone else have been able to open the file in different versions of LO, add some miscellaneous text to it and then save it in .doc format. If that's right, then maybe my best course is just to give up and re-type the twenty-five pages of the document, saving them in .odt format as I go along. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

But even if that is fixed, we are not done. In desktop LibreOffice we can set the UI language, the locale, and the default currency. In LOKit we have a single "Language" parameter to pass when we load a document, and UI language and locale are set to the same value. So, if the requirement is - for example - to have English (US) user interface but German (Switzerland) default number format in Calc, then we need to change the LOKit API, and also change loleaflet, to take an optional "locale" parameter from integrations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Expected: It writes the attribute with namespace 'loext' in case of ODF 1.2 extended and does not use those regression types at all, if saving to ODF 1.2 strict. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125450] Column shading not at all right
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125450 --- Comment #11 from signupem...@posteo.uk --- No. Please see the red bar in the attachment that I now add. The problem is the horizontal shading. That shading looks as if it is a graphical glitch. It looks like a graphical glitch because it is not really shading at all. For, there is no (or is precious little) blending. Thus, it looks as though the colouring is meant to be confined to some area - to take up the whole of some demarcated area, some column - and has mistakenly overflowed its bounds. The correction is to have more blending - as in the vertical (and vertically shaded) column heads - A to I. Perhaps actually that latter shading is done in the same way as the shading of which I complain. If so, then something - to do with how we see things? - makes the one lot of shading look worse (less like shading) than the other. It is true that, the more I look at the shading of which I complain, the more I get used to it. As I said, though: at first, and indeed for some subsequent times that I looked at it, it struck me as a bug. I think it will strike many people that way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
