Thomas, thank you for reporting the bug. It might be related to bug 129798,
which is was fixed yesterday. So could you please try to reproduce it with LO
6.3.5, if it is available? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please
change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest
version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

2020-01-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon

In fact, this relates to all context-sensitive toolbars in all modules (like
Table or Bullets and Numbering in Writer), and is not specific to closing
toolbars only; you also cannot *open* such a toolbar permanently - which is
just the same issue: user is *unable* to explicitly express own decision on
showing/hiding those toolbars, and creating own toolbars with same controls is
not a solution, since it adds static toolbars to the context-sensitive ones
that keep appearing/disappearing. I believe there's related bug on Table
toolbar (at least) about that.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 67919] AXMenuButton's should implement AXShowMenu

2020-01-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67919

Dear Boris Dušek,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

language to avoid select the type for every column with dates or numbers. If
dates are mm/dd/yy then 'English USA'

In any case not a bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130134] New: Inserting Manual Page Break Deletes Text

2020-01-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130134

Bug ID: 130134
Summary: Inserting Manual Page Break Deletes Text
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.3.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: larrywbrad...@gmail.com

Description:
Inserted a manual page break cause several words in a sentence to be deleted
and replaced by "gibberish" characters.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a manual page break, especially when close to the bottom of a page.
2.Use Ctrl-B

Actual Results:
3.Inserts break, but deletes some text to the left of the break point (break
inserted at beginning of a sentence near the end of a paragraph, not at the
actual end of the paragraph)

Expected Results:
Expected a 'clean' page break without loss of words or characters. I have
screenshots, not sure how to attach them to the bug report.

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
[Information automatically included from LibreOffice]
Locale: en-US

To remove frame around rotation wheel shadow had to be disabled for enclosing
GtkViewPort and GtkScrolledWindow objects. This was done using Glade. On Linux
result is as expected, on macOS frame is not removed. To remove frame on macOS
too, GtkScrolledWindow was removed too. Result looks as expected on macOS too
(see screenshot attached).

@ Caolan: Could you please doublecheck whether this is the right approach
(modified Glade output is attached too).

As there is no change within C++ code, GTKScrolledWindow is addressed there
furthermore although it has been removed within the XML UI description file:

m_xCtrlDial(new DialControl(m_xBuilder->weld_scrolled_window("anglepreview")))

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115655] Collapsing a cell range with an image inside it makes the image disappear after saving and reloading

2020-01-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115655

(In reply to Xisco Faulí from comment #11)
> @Regina, since you fixed bug 119191, I thought you might be interested in
> this issue...

Yes, but I will not have much time in the next weeks.

Workaround: Do not anchor the image with "to cell (resize with cell)" but use
"to cell".
If the row is resized to 0cm height because of collapsing, the image will
resize to 0cm height too in case of anchor "to cell (resize with cell)".
When you reopen the collapsed version, you see in the Navigator, that the image
still exists. Expand the group, then double-click the image entry in the
Navigator to select the image. You should see some green handles. If you use
the Position dialog, it tells you a height of 0,01mm, if you use the
Crop-dialog it tells you a height of 1%.

Errors which I see:
The image does not grow if the group is expanded.
If you use "Original size" from context menu, it does not set it to original
size.
If you use the Crop-dialog and set Scale to 100%, the anchor moves to cell A1
and the image looses its position.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130114] Freeze when trying to save edited document in .doc format

2020-01-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130114

Dieter, I am an ignorant end user. I know enough to be able to install the
version you suggest, but not enough to know the consequences of my doing so for
continued use of my current version of LO. I'm afraid that, by installing the
version you suggest, I might be throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

My suspicion has been all along that there's something wrong with the
particular file that I sent you, since I've found no problem with LO when I
work on other documents (and spreadsheets) that I've created. My hope was that
expert examination of the file would be able to find what it was about LO that
made the particular file go wrong (maybe the bit that saves files in .doc
format?).

It seems, if I understand things correctly, that you and someone else have been
able to open the file in different versions of LO, add some miscellaneous text
to it and then save it in .doc format. If that's right, then maybe my best
course is just to give up and re-type the twenty-five pages of the document,
saving them in .odt format as I go along.

I filed https://github.com/nextcloud/richdocuments/issues/795 for the Nextcloud
part.

But even if that is fixed, we are not done. In desktop LibreOffice we can set
the UI language, the locale, and the default currency.

In LOKit we have a single "Language" parameter to pass when we load a document,
and UI language and locale are set to the same value.

So, if the requirement is - for example - to have English (US) user interface
but German (Switzerland) default number format in Calc, then we need to change
the LOKit API, and also change loleaflet, to take an optional "locale"
parameter from integrations.

This file was edited down from a confidential document in Word 2013 and saved
in Word (bless the library where I used a Win computer). In Word the numbered
items after each header start with 1. In LO 6.3.3 (latest from OpenSuse) the
numbered paragraphs of the same style (same indent) show continuous numbering
across headers--there is one sequence for the entire page.

Bug ID: 130133
Summary: FILESAVE wrong values for attribute
chart:regression-type in ODF 1.2
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.3.2.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Chart
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: rb.hensc...@t-online.de

Created attachment 157343
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=157343=edit
A chart to investigate

LibreOffice writes the not existing values "polynomial" and "moving-average",
when the file is saved in ODF 1.2, both for 'strict' and 'extended'.

Expected: It writes the attribute with namespace 'loext' in case of ODF 1.2
extended and does not use those regression types at all, if saving to ODF 1.2
strict.
These regression types are implemented by LibreOffice, not by OOo, so I think
namespace 'loext' is better than 'chartooo'.

You can test the attached file with the validator https://odfvalidator.org/.

These regression type values will be available in ODF 1.3. But that does not
solve the problem for ODF 1.2.

GET/OPTIONS/PROFIND requests there, instead of asking to open a tunnel with

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130132] New: FILESAVE. Calc background color is gone after restart

2020-01-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130132

Bug ID: 130132
Summary: FILESAVE. Calc background color is gone after restart
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.3.4.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: romrod...@outlook.com

Description:
When I fill a cell with a background color, after restart it will be white
again. It happens if the cell is further away from the last row and column with
any content inside (text, number, formula...).
In other words, if the sheet has content in cells from A1 to Y60, the
background color for Z1 or A61 will be gone after restart.

In the sheets that I used and the problem could be reproduced I have used
conditional formatting (somewhere else than the affected cells)and "Freeze
files and columns" to keep some of them visible when scrolling.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the attachment.
2.Go to cell PO7, for example.
3.Fill cells from PO7 to PT15 with any colour.
4.Save and restart. Cells are white again.

Actual Results:
Cells are white again after restart.

Expected Results:
Cells should be coloured.

Reproducible: Always

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125450] Column shading not at all right

2020-01-22 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125450

No. Please see the red bar in the attachment that I now add. The problem is the
horizontal shading. That shading looks as if it is a graphical glitch. It looks
like a graphical glitch because it is not really shading at all. For, there is
no (or is precious little) blending. Thus, it looks as though the colouring is
meant to be confined to some area - to take up the whole of some demarcated
area, some column - and has mistakenly overflowed its bounds.

The correction is to have more blending - as in the vertical (and vertically
shaded) column heads - A to I.

Perhaps actually that latter shading is done in the same way as the shading of
which I complain. If so, then something - to do with how we see things? - makes
the one lot of shading look worse (less like shading) than the other. It is
true that, the more I look at the shading of which I complain, the more I get
used to it. As I said, though: at first, and indeed for some subsequent times
that I looked at it, it struck me as a bug. I think it will strike many people
that way.

You are absolutely right. Thomas was simply objecting to Heiko's proposal to
hide the nodes. Thus, Thomas is of the same opinion as the comments that gave
birth to this report.

Sorry that I missed the UX meeting (violin lessons really are more important ;)
)

Just a simple idea:
- Select range in document
- Ctrl+H
-
- select all
- Insert > TOC and Index > Index Entry
-
- OK...

I think that does work ..

Extremely important for me. Probably the most important reason to shift to
LibreOffice since I need to collaborate with other people and use track change
all the time. Showing changes in balloons is the prefer way for edition.

@Timur, Gábor: indeed, this is the fixed by the final version of the fix for
tdf#94801. The problem was rounding of the table and column widths. (Left
spacing is imported as left paragraph spacing correctly.)

White bar?

I'm not sure I understand, so I encircled with red the white bar that I think
you mean. Is it correct?

Everything ok for now. But it was a problem early. So I opened the file with
6.1 and managed to edit it.
But now 6.3.4 is also working correctly.

Thanks.

I don't understand, it's ok or not with 6.3.4?

Have you tried to select the column format ?
Please have a look at the attachment.
Does this solve the problem?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
