[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130438] New: Print Preview Locks up Calc
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130438 Bug ID: 130438 Summary: Print Preview Locks up Calc Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.4.0.3 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: lg_ninj...@yahoo.com Created attachment 157650 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=157650&action=edit Screenshot of AFTER I click the "Close print preview" I'm not quite sure if I should post this, so I'm going to repost anyway. It is similar to this bug: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130187 But it is not a crash. When closing print preview the cell window will lock up and quit responding. I am able to switch tabs / interact with menus / close the document, but the cell window no longer displays or responds. I have attached a screen shot of AFTER I close the print preview window. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130418] On FILEOPEN an ODT file in Writer the cursor position is not consistently restored to the last FILESAVE position
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130418 --- Comment #4 from Hugh Cautley --- (In reply to Dieter from comment #3) > Hugh, there might be something wrong with your file, because I can't enter e > blank page with Strg + enter or Insert > Page break (it only produces a new > paragraph) Hi Dieter, Very strange, I went back just now to the file placed the cursor after the character "8" on page 2, and entered COMMAND + ENTER. It placed a new page after 8, the text starting "t" is now on page 3 and 8 is still on page 2. Also using the menu commands INSERT + PAGE BREAK works fine. To produce a new paragraph also works fine, I just need to enter SHIFT +ENTER That was on an macOS(10.15.3)(Catalina) with LO 6.4.0.3 I double checked on a Windows 10 system with LO 6.3.2.2, and everything behaved the same way as the Macbook. Here I entered the Ctrl+ENTER. One thought I sent you a rather big file. I had first tried to make it smaller and remove confidential information. I did this page by page, checking each time and noticed that at a certain point the problem seemed to disappear. The best I could do was to note that if the cursor was near the end of the file the problem would reappear, if placed near the beginning of the file the problem would disappear. Beginning and end of the file meant within a few characters of the absolute end and beginning of the 12000 character file. Have you any suggestions how to check the integrity of the file, for all other aspects it seems to work fine? or is there anything else I can do to help? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130434 Bug ID: 130434 Summary: Cyrillic characters are crippled when the copied Base table is pasted in Calc Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.4.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Base Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: sergey_ne...@yahoo.co.uk Description: Hello, I guess this bug may have been discovered and described elsewhere, but I failed at finding it. I have this Base table (please see attached) containing mixture of Latin and Cyrillic characters. If I copy the table to Calc via the Base context menu «Copy» command, all Cyrillic characters in Calc are replaced with their Latin diacritic counterparts (code page Win 1251 -> Win 1252). However, should I drag table to the Calc worksheet, it works with no problem. Also, Cyrillic characters are preserved when copying in the opposite direction, from Calc to Base (via either dragging the worksheet to Base or copying Calc cells and pasting them on the «Tables» pane of Base, which results in creation of a new table). It is not to say this bug makes life impossible, after all dragging from Base to Calc does the deed. Nevertheless, it would be nice to know whether other people are affected and if the fix for this nuisance can be expected any time soon. P. S. I use LO 6.3.4.2 on Windows 7 x64. P. P. S. It does not make any difference whether it is HSQLDB or Firebird DB, the bug is still there. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the attached odb. 2. Right-click the only table, select «Copy». 3. Switch to Calc; click «Paste». Actual Results: Cyrillic characters are replaced with their Latin diacritical counterparts. Expected Results: Cyrillic characters should be preserved. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130433 Bug ID: 130433 Summary: Libre Office Calc: Can't delete Hyprlink Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.4.2 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: volkmar.rich...@rub.de Description: Dear friends! When I insert an email address into a normal field it happens now and then that Libre Office Calc automatically (!) creats a hyperlink - even if I insert it not directly into the field but in the field's text line just below the menu!!! I would like to prevent that from happening, but haven't found a way how to. Now if I want to DELETE the hyperlink it does NOT work to "clear direct formatting" as it is described in help for deleting the hyperlink! Can you help? Warm regards, Volkmar Steps to Reproduce: 1. insert an email address into a field (either directly or via the text line below the menu) 2. sometimes it creates an hyperlink 3. impossible to delete the hyperlink with "clear direct formatting" Actual Results: If you create a hyperlink purposely, it is not possible to delete!? Expected Results: 1) that I'm able to prevent Calc from creating a hyperlink in the first place 2) If there is a hyperlink, I want to delete it! And if you say in "help" that it is possible via "clear direct formatting" it should be possible! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 88600] FORMATTING TABLE parse "forced CR" as a row separator in Table -> Text to Table Conversion
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88600 --- Comment #6 from Gabriele Ponzo --- Please see the first attachment: if you have several rows in a pseudo-table and then change your mind about columns width, having just newline is a matter of putting the keyboard cursor in any random point within the unique paragraph, and then adjust tabulations. If they are several paragraphs, you have to select'em all... Only > an inspection of the Ubuntu packages will be able to indicate whether you > have more than one libfbclient library installed. > > This might also explain why the tables are read correctly by isql-fb, as > that client program would use the system libfbclient, rather than any lib > provided with LO. > > > You don't mention where you get your LO6341 from. I'm not sure that Ubuntu > provides LO6341 in the default package repositories, so have you installed > it from somewhere else ? (PPA, TDF download website ?) You may be right. To find out, I first used synaptic to remove firebird files that came from Ubuntu. Then I use a terminal window with administrative rights to remove every libfbdlient on my hard drive. I used sudo updatedb several times as I do so to make sure that I had removed every one. I have downloaded Firebird 3.05 for their website and then installed it. I still get the same results: an error for the same tables of employee.fdb. The latest attachment was made after connecting to employee.fdb using the direct connection. I conclude that the Ubuntu version of Firebird has anything to do with the problem. I download all of my LibreOffice versions are downloaded from the libreoffice.org. The are the pre-release versions which I try always get the latest version when it comes out. So, here is an update: I am now using 6.3.4.2 getting this error message. I also have LO 6.4.0.3 which I used as a test getting the same results: an error message. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130428 Bug ID: 130428 Summary: Try to not use SfxItemState::UNKNOWN in preparation of refactoring of ItemSet/ItemPool Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: armin.le.gr...@me.com Background: I do experiment actively with a much simplified, type-safe ersion of ItemSet/ItemPool to make it easier for everyone to deal with these, still keeping performance and mem footprint. Stumbled over SfxItemState::SfxItemState::UNKNOWN which is in the way for that simplifications. Looking for a way around it relealed that it might bne hard and take off quite some of the 'easier' portion, so I'll try to remove it's usages as much as possible. Im most cases these usages (127) are about checking if that Item is 'known' at the SfxItemSet which uses the info of the defined ranges at these - mostly in UI stuff (anyways a 2nd ItemSet use that is kinda 'hacky') to hide controls. I will try to replace usages with what really is intended and protocol it here. This might lead to some changes in the core that hopefully will do no harm, but to be able to revert thede and maybe cancel that try here again will not all here -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
