https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129886 --- Comment #7 from Mike Kaganski --- (In reply to sdc.blanco from comment #6) > Good detective work on your part, but isn't that bug supposed to be about > Macros (and how the Basic commands work)? (that is how it is classified). > > Meanwhile, I can understand that this is where/how the new behavior was > introduced, but maybe it was an "accident" in the sense that the repair of > the macros has also spilled over into the "standard" behavior? While bug 43021 was about macros, related bug 34303 wasn't; and in fact, the change has the intended result that management of initial directories in File dialogs has been made consistent over platforms and managed by LibreOffice (while previously, it was managed by system on Windows). So any "regression" aspect of this report should be removed, and if some change in behaviour is wanted, it should be suggested, discussed and implemented as a general change, unrelated to previous state. It should take different kind of dialogs (open/save/export/direct export/macro; different modules) into account; if, why and how should they behave differently on different OSes, etc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 131055] It doesn't even install
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131055 Mike Kaganski changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Mike Kaganski --- First of all: what you see is *normal* and *intended* problem reporting of *Windows Installer* system service - i.e., it's how it's designed by Microsoft, not by LibreOffice. The installer MSI is just a recipe how to install, but what actually installs everything is not MSI, but a system service/executable (msiexec) that has this great error reporting. And any software, be it "commercial" or not, that uses this *system* service, would show the same problem the same dumb way. So the nods to "truly a terrible user experience" as if it's LibreOffice installer's "feature" are unwarranted. Just try to google for "MSI error 2203" to see that basically any software installation might result in that (because it in fact not related to the specific software, but rather to broken system state). Please first try to fix the system installer service using a dedicated tool created by Microsoft to fix problems resulting from bugs in their service. To do that, see "Use troubleshooter tool from Microsoft" in [1]. Then note that what you write about registration process requiring you to "support open source software" is likely a misconception: no registration will require you to donate, while it might encourage you doing that. Also subscription to mailing lists is (should be) *not* a pre-requisite to registration in other services, like "forum" (although LibreOffice *does not* have a forum; I suspect you meant Ask LibreOffice, which is not a forum, but a Question-and-Answer site). If you see that you cannot register without donation and/or registering to unrelated services, you are welcome to file separate bug reports on that (even if there actually *is* a way to do that that you didn't notice, this is still a UX problem, when it's not easily discoverable). Setting to NEEDINFO until you report the results of your troubleshooting with MS tool, or in case of the problem persists, attach an installation log, as also described in [1]. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 81642] PRINTING: problem with printing on sheets of other than A4 format
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81642 --- Comment #8 from Caitlyn Karnes --- The other spectators nodded in agreement as the pitcher went into his delivery. He was a hard thrower and he put something extra on the next pitch. There was a loud crack as Scooter's bat met the baseball as it crossed the plate. Oohs and aahs echoed across the bleachers as the ball disappeared over the centerfield fence. Tim trotted across the plate and waited for his friend to touch home plate before exchanging high fives. Gertrude was beaming with pride as her son circled the bases. She glanced over at Brian only to see small tears on his cheeks. He had spent countless hours working on fielding and batting with Tim and her son. His pleasure and pride was almost palpable. Gertrude was extremely grateful for the mentoring Brian had provided her son since their arrival. Horace was growing into a fine young man and Brian had played a huge part in his character development. https://bestpornwebsites.pro/category/porn-gifs-sites/ Brenda drove to the pizza shop to join Brian and Tim as the team celebrated the win. She found a parking space quite far from the door. By the time she entered the restaurant, she saw both Norma Wilson and Brandi Dorn standing way too close to her husband. Their big boobs were in frequent contact with his arms, back and chest as he helped sort out the drinks for the boys. Brenda wasn't surprised when they seemed to disappear as she approached. It caused her to mentally repeat a conversation she had two weeks prior with her lover, Bill Grant. "It's about time we got it on in your bed, don't you think?" pushed Bill as Brenda was getting dressed after a sex session. "Banging you in your husband's bed really gets my motor running." "You said you wouldn't do it in our bed again until Brian and I had sex," reminded Brenda. "I'm not comfortable risking it." https://bestpornwebsites.pro/category/porn-gifs-sites/ "Are you actually telling me you haven't had sex with your husband since the day we fucked in your house?" asked her incredulous lover. "You said I should shut him off for as long as I could and you wouldn't press me to have sex in our house until he made love to me. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80633 --- Comment #13 from QA Administrators --- Dear Michael Meeks, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126933 Adalbert Hanßen changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|1 |0 Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #4 from Adalbert Hanßen --- Unfortunately the appearance is not really pleasant under the high contrast theme in Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 48295aead3e15c62d31157f963bd5728f7278db5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@86-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2020-02-29_21:13:36 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded It could easily be done better (and the method to invert the appearance of a depressed button is probably the easiest thing to implement since the inverting operation applied an even number of times returns to where it left off). But it could be made even nicer with a similar approach as in the attached document, but that is not inverse to itself. One would have to keep a copy of the bitmap of the pressed button to re-establish if a pressed button gets reverted to unpressed. BTW: I don’t like it that pictures pasted are now by default anchored to the character. I know, it has been an endless discussion between 2014 and 2019 under Bug 79234, Bug 87720. Bug 99646 e.g. requested to make the default anchor “to character”, however I don’t like it that way, I just like placing pictures anchored to paragraph by default. I had to manually anchor each picture in this document to the paragraph to really get what I want. I’d still advocate to make the default anchoring to be configurable (at least for new documents). A good place would be in Frame Styles:Graphics under the tab Wrap. It leaves enough space place buttons letting one to select between anchor to page/paragraph/character and since this would be in the style sheet aka template, every LO user could set it to his/her personal preferences. However, there seem to be some pagination and image placement bugs which are/were(?) buried deep in LO and even in OOO. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I already tried a year ago. It is truly a terrible user experience. A cryptic error code, nothing that indicates what could be wrong and it doesn't even create a crash report. I was relieved though by the fact that the installation rolls back and the system is not affected. I took the time to register to do the bug report because I understand an effort has to be made to support open source software, but honestly, I don't feel encouraged to do an economical donation if I already have to spend more time that I would with commercial software. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 131054] New: LibreOffice start up interface will not adjust vertically but will horizontally bottom off window
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131054 Bug ID: 131054 Summary: LibreOffice start up interface will not adjust vertically but will horizontally bottom off window Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.4.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: LibreOffice Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: sato...@yahoo.com Description: When starting LibreOffice portable: LibreOffice 6.4.0.3 (x86) on Windows 7 Pro x64 with screen resolution of 1280x720, LibreOffice startup is at a managed size. When I attempt to increase the vertical hight of the app window so that I can view all the button options, it expands to a hight larger than my desktop window and the bottom of the window stretches down past the windows bar and below the window. At this point, the width will reduce in size but the height remains static and there is not way to access the buttons that are off screen. I ran it in safe mode and the same issue occurs. I could not check the openGLl issue because I am not authorized to access the openGL addon page and there's only so much I am willing to attempt when dealing with such idiocy as this. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set screen resolution to 1280x720 2. Click on LibreOffice shortcut. 3. After LibreOffice startup has started, click the bottom window border and attempt to lengthen the height. 4. After LibreOffice start up has increased out of control, click on the top window border and attempt to reduce the height. Actual Results: I would provide screen shots but you do not have an upload link. And quite frankly, if you cannot understand my previous instructions without asking for more details, you have absolutely no business being a developer. Expected Results: I expect the height to be adjustable like any reasonable program would be rather than being set to a default height that requires me to increase my screen resolution to the point of my not being able to see and use my computer. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126905 --- Comment #8 from Daniel Baran --- Thomas, just now realizing that you were probably working on "Sheet 1" of the workbook. That has some protected cells in all the rows, and so the "no-click" issue you are seeing is expected. The original bug issue applies to "Sheet 2" only, specifically for Rows 8 and below. Those rows are fully unprotected and should be deletable via a right-click on the row number. Previously, the right-click "delete row" option was not showing in the drop-down list. As of now, it appears to be working as expected with the following circumstances: Windows 10 Pro, LO 6.3.5.2 (x64), and the attached workbook (3-1-2020). It's not clear to me if this bug occurs in workbooks other than mine (i.e. your macro suggestion), though it does not occur when in LO 6.2.8.2 with the same macros. However, I have an updated version of the workbook (attached with this post). This file does not seem to have issues with deletion of unprotected rows in 6.3.5.2. I hope you will consider testing this one for comparison (especially regarding the "no-clicks" issue, which seems to be a new problem).
