It is possible to sign macros in most LO apps since a long time. In Base it's currently not possible via the UI, but people can still have their own method to sign the macros in the .odb files (for example it's possible to write a script to sign macros using Basic API). So there exist odb files with signed macros, and the commit was to evaluate those on load. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126409 --- Comment #55 from Tor Lillqvist --- But the LibreOffice.app one downloads from TDF is still not notarized, is it? So in what way could this bug be seen as resolved? Even if it apparently now is still possible, after all, to run non-notarized (only signed) 3rd-party software downloaded from random sites, isn't the point that this might change at some point and it would be good to be prepared for that, and not desperately then try to fix it when the problem materializes for real? It shouldn't be hard to understand that Apple wants to continuouslu increase the security of macOS. As such, personally, I much prefer the App Store as a distribution channel for macOS software. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133314] Writer Feature Request - Advance to Page Break
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133314 --- Comment #9 from RBEmerson --- Good news mostly, bad news slightly The user finally woke up and smelled the coffee. I found "page by page" scrolling in 6.3 Navigator, albeit with "<" and ">" to execute "previous page" and "next page". 7.0 implements the IMHO more intuitive "^" and "v". However, in full screen mode navigator is no longer visible. How do I bind whatever Navigator does to move whole pages, instead of X number of lines, to PgUp and PgDn respectively? I suggest the former action (whole pages) be the default operation, with X lines as an option to be adjusted in customizing. - - - - FWIW, I got the "no vcruntime140.dll" error after installing V7.0. I've corrected that, but FWIW ensuring Visual C++ runtime is available or can be easily added (no idea about licensing issues) will help people testing the version, but who have no idea about what the error means. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99880 --- Comment #6 from QA Administrators --- Dear Dennis Roczek, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. Note: this behavior does not occur when text is selected inside the text box. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create text box. Fill it with text. 2. Select something else then select only that text box... not the text inside. 3. Use the font increase button. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133300] Please add the ability to search for Page Styles
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133300 --- Comment #9 from Luke Kendall --- Sorry, it's Page Style, yes, not Paragraph Style. I only just noticed I wrote (by mistake) the latter, instead of what I meant to write: "Although there is a checkbox for [Page] Styles in the Attributes sub-panel of the Find & Replace dialogue," Re this: "Only wondering.. You can filter the styles in sidebar -> Styles -> at the bottom.. You have an option.. styles in use.. However, it's lacking an option, unused styles.. if it would be possible to do that, you can easily delete all sorts of cruft Seems far easier compared to search, or did I misread something.." I know about that, but it wouldn't be enough, sorry. I know about the Applied Styles, so you could also achieve a similar clean-up result by just looking at the full list and deleting the unused ones: you can see they're unused because the Delete option is not greyed out. And my enhancement request is to be able to find a Page Style in use that you want to remove. Finding which page is using it can take a long time. (I found in fact that sometimes Writer can take closer to 8 seconds to update the panel with the actual Page Style used by it.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I'm asking because I see three red rectangles, and it's not obvious if anything is wrong with those (except that the font list in the editor doesn't show each font name with its own font, which is reported in bug 97015). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133248] NEW: Page style name field is not editable
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133248 --- Comment #7 from mathieu.tar...@protonmail.com --- So, I decided to do some investigations, and I installed 2 VMs in VirtualBox - Ubuntu 18.04 - Ubuntu 20.04 And I sent my ODT file there to test it. I was able to edit the file in both cases. So the problem was coming from my configuration. I noticed that on Ubuntu 20.04, LibreOffice appearance was much better than what I had. In fact I was missing some packages, since I upgraded from 19.10 to 20.04. So I installed: - libreoffice-style-elementary - libreoffice-style-human - libreoffice-style-galaxy - libreoffice-style-breeze - libreoffice-gtk3 And reopened my document to test the appearance (much better now, with GTK3 integration !). And magic, my document can now be edited ! So, I think it was a bug with GTK after all. Installing this libreoffice-gtk3 solved my issue. Maybe you can make something with this information ? More opinions welcome. There is already a multitude of issue with the fill button..it's flawed. It really can't replace Draw and fillings toolbar.. So, add it back below the standard toolbar. It's even workable on my 11 laptop... while the sidebar and page panel together is a no go.. so with page panel I can't really access the sidebar (and shape and color settings) So remove the fill buttons, and replace it with the toolbar.. These implementations sometime return different values for the same calculations, see bug 133389. There are also independent descriptions of corresponding functions. Some examples: MINUTE function in Calc: https://help.libreoffice.org/6.4/en-US/text/scalc/01/func_minute.html Minute function in Basic: https://help.libreoffice.org/6.4/en-US/text/sbasic/shared/03030202.html?DbPAR=BASIC TIME function in Calc: https://help.libreoffice.org/6.4/en-US/text/scalc/01/func_time.html TimeSerial function in Basic: https://help.libreoffice.org/6.4/en-US/text/sbasic/shared/03030205.html?DbPAR=BASIC The description of the TimeSerial function explains how this function handles parameters that are outside their usual range.
