https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133487 Bug ID: 133487 Summary: z-index wrong for shape with style:run-through="background" Product: LibreOffice Version: Inherited From OOo Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rb.hensc...@t-online.de Created attachment 161386 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=161386&action=edit Example with wrong z-index Open attached document. You see a red triangle in background, then a blue ellipse in the middle and a yellow rectangle in front. So for the z-index you would expect red index < blue index < yellow index. But when opening the file you will find red (2), blue (0) and yellow (1). For z-index ODF 1.3 says in 19.231, part 3 of the spec: "The draw:z-index values increase from back to front." And especially for the case style:run-through: "For a shape on which the style:run-through 20.351 attribute with value foreground is in effect, producers should not generate a draw:z-index value that is smaller than the value of any draw:z-index on a shape on which the style:run-through attribute with value background is in effect." Because negative values are not allowed, the z-index values should be red(0), blue(1), yellow(2), for example. The ODF 1.2 spec had not such clear rules, but only states "The draw:z-index attribute defines a rendering order for shapes in a document instance." It becomes more precise in ODF 1.3 with issue https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-2122. The implementation in LO 7.0 needs to be adapted for ODF 1.3. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96923 --- Comment #17 from kon...@gmx.com --- Confirmed in LibreOffice 6.4.3.2. See the attachment "Inconsistency between comparison order". I get the following results: 1) If comparing a number to a number (2nd and 3rd argument to SUMIFS), we get a match as expected. 2) If comparing a number to a string, we get a match. 3) If comparing a string to a number, we DON'T get a match. 4) If comparing a string to a number, but with an explicit equality operator ("="&) we get a match. In Excel, all cases (1-4) result in a match. Because of the unexpected inconsistency, I would say that this is indeed a bug, and that the Excel behavior of having all four cases result in a match should be followed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133483] New: insertion point gets stuck
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133483 Bug ID: 133483 Summary: insertion point gets stuck Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.5.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: nick_levin...@yahoo.com Description: To move the insertion point through a lot of text, I tap up-arrow through a lot of lines. But the insertion point gets stuck at the beginning of a line. To unstick it, I use left-arrow to move the insertion point to the end of the line above and then up-arrow works just fine again. Steps to Reproduce: 1. I created an unsaved test document with lots and lots of text, copy-paste-paste-paste-etc. to 76 pages, with minimal or no style changes. It may need to be much more than one screenful, to force scrolling. 2. Near the bottom, put the insertion point in the body text at the right end of one of the longest lines. 3. Tap (fast is okay) the keyboard up-arrow. Pretend your destination is far up. Actual Results: Sometimes, scrolling stops. Without using any input (without using your keyboard or mouse), visually look for the insertion point. It's probably at the left end of a line, which is counterintuitive, since it was on the right side. Once you find it, you can move it by any method you like to wherever you wish. Expected Results: No interruption in moving the insertion point when you're still tapping an arrow. Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: So far, I have not identified limits under which this always happens without being intermittent. In one test, I think the stop was at the same place twice, but when I keyboarded left-arrow once, which put the insertion point at the right end of the line above, and tapped up-arrow once, the insertion point was not stuck again at the left but was at the right end of the line where the problem had been, and even when I moved the insertion point a few lines down at the right and tapped the up-arrow a bunch of times it did not get stuck. Since I made the test document by pasting repeatedly, that paragraph was a copy of the same paragraph a few pages up, and the insertion point did not get stuck at the next paragraph that was identical. Another paragraph where sticking occurred also was repeated farther up, but no sticking occurred in identical copies. Even when finding a problem spot, trying to replicate the problem at the same spot failed; the next time in just seconds, the spot was fine. Where sticking occurs, no style change is between characters or paragraphs. The problem can occur either between paragraphs or within a paragraph. This is a noncritical minor annoyance that can make a non-geek think your software is broken. It has happened through multiple versions of LO, including the one I have this one: Version: 6.3.5.2 Build ID: 6.3.5.2-3.fc31 CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 5.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded OpenGL is not a setting. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130654 --- Comment #9 from V Stuart Foote --- (In reply to veniero facchetti from comment #8) > if i click on plus button on bottom of the screen (zoom setting) i have an > increase of the font of the center of the page. it's not possible increase > also the font of this panel without add more setting? Yes unfortunately that is the state of things. No means to adjust the StarMath Formula editor's GUI to use a larger font for input in its 'Command Window'. The LibreOffice UI already allows you to resize the resulting formula (both its screen size, and its actual in document size) but it provides no means to adjust the size of the font in the 'Command Window' input panel beyond operating system scaling of the users Desktop environment. Scaling which makes the UI buttons, the objects on the Elements Bar, and menu items all move to new relative positions. In this instance assigning a font control for use on the 'Command Window' is the cleaner UI adjustment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
