--- Comment #6 from Dieter  ---
Sorry, don't know, why I had problems earlier. Now I could open the image-file.
I've tried to reproduce the bug (also in SafeMode)

Steps:
1. Open Writer -> New -> Labels
2. Set Brand (Avery Letter Size) & Type (6460) & enter a few lines of text to
be printed
3. on the Options tab select row 2 and column 2 & select 'New Document'

Expected result:
Four labels in two rows and two columns

Actual result:
Only one label

On the other help says, that the option 'Single Label' "prints a single label
or business card on a page [1]. So perhaps current result is correct, but
option for setting numbers of rows and columns is wrong.

In sum: There is definitely something wrong here, but first step is know, how
it should work

"Heading" in navigator shows heading levels as defined in Tools => Chapter
Numbering. Chapter Numbering only defines paragraph styles "Heading 6",
"Heading 7", ... als chapter headings, but you don't use them. So it's te
expected result, that navigator shows no headings.

Dear Ofir,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this

details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141140] New: GTK3: menubuttons toggled states not visually consistent throughout the toolbars

2021-03-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141140

Bug ID: 141140
   Summary: GTK3: menubuttons toggled states not visually
consistent throughout the toolbars
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: nekoh...@gmail.com

Created attachment 170600
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=170600&action=edit
demonstration video

In GTK (and various other toolkits), clicking on a menubutton will not only
toggle the visibility of the associated menu or popover, but also set the
button to be visually in a toggled "pressed" state.

However, throughout LibreOffice's toolbar variants, including the "Tabbed"
toolbar and particularly the "Groupedbar compact" toolbar, I can see at least
three different visual styles when clicking various menubuttons:

- Some do not show a pressed/toggled state at all (which looks very "wrong" :)
- Some show a visual style specific to Libreoffice, very "rectangular" & flat
- Some show a visual style that resembles GTK3's togglebuttons' toggled state

Ideally they should all be in the 3rd category.
The attached video demonstrates the various styles observed.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141139] New: Impress pen settings not saved when using gnome-integration

2021-03-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141139

Bug ID: 141139
   Summary: Impress pen settings not saved when using
gnome-integration
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.4.1 rc
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: bugrepor...@bchemnet.com

Description:
Changes to the pen thickness and color are not retained when a presentation
ends if gnome-integration is being used. Previous settings changed prior to
using gnome-integration are loaded, so the issue appears to be only of
retaining the changes when a presentation ends. It may go back further than
6.4.4.1, but that is when I first encountered it (started using the pen
feature). Presumably whatever the first version was that utilized gtk3? It is
still present in 7.1.1. Happens both with Debian packages and official debs.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Libreoffice Impress with gnome-integration (gtk3) interface active.
2. Start a new slideshow (new or old file, does not matter)
3. Change pen color and/or thickness.
4. End presentation.
5. Restart presentation and observe that pen settings have reverted to the
settings at the time of program start.
6. Repeat 2-4 with gnome-integration off. Restart presentation and observe
that the modified pen settings are retained.

Actual Results:
Pen settings not retained.

Expected Results:
Pen settings should be retained.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
Version: 7.0.4.2
Build ID: 00(Build:2)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.9; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.utf8); UI: en-US
Debian package version: 1:7.0.4_rc2-1+b1
Calc: threaded
(but as noted above, it affects versions before and after)

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141138] New: In "Tabbed" or "Grouped Compact" toolbar modes's "Review" menubutton, the Language submenus are not grouped into a "Language" submenu

2021-03-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141138

Bug ID: 141138
   Summary: In "Tabbed" or "Grouped Compact" toolbar modes's
"Review" menubutton, the Language submenus are not
grouped into a "Language" submenu
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: nekoh...@gmail.com

Normally, the "Language" menu (traditionally found under "Tools" in the classic
GUI) has this hierarchy:

Language >
- For Selection >
- For Paragraph >
- For All Text  >

...but the problem is that in the "Tabbed", "Tabbed Compact" and "Grouped
Compact" toolbar modes, when you access this from the "Review" menubutton, you
only get:

- For Selection >
- For Paragraph >
- For All Text  >

...without the "Language" grouping. So it's unclear to non-technical users what
the "For" is for.

The easy fix would be, in that case, to group all these in a "Language >"
submenu, just like in the traditional menu system, because it doesn't really
make sense for them to stand alone otherwise.

Bug ID: 141137
   Summary: "AutoCorrect" submenu (and autocorrect options) are
missing from the Groupedbar Compact and Tabbed
toolbars
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: nekoh...@gmail.com

Tools > Autocorrect >
...is a pretty important menu. It not only lets you turn on/off autocorrect,
but it also lets you access the Autocorrect Options dialog, which is pretty
important because it lets you handle localization settings, replacements,
capitalization settings, and also manage the collected dictionary of words for
autocompletion, which can sometimes be quite borked up depending on the
document, so it's important to able to access that.

However, the Tabbed and Groupedbar toolbar modes do not provide you with any
way to access this, even in the "Review" menubutton.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 131516] Use of WEBSERVICE within a macro in CALC raises an "Illegal argument" exception - Similar to #115710

2021-03-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon

--- Comment #2 from eyeil...@gmail.com ---
I get this, too - but it only gives me an error when I go to https addresses,
not http. I don't think it's limited to macros, either - I get an error when I
use https in WEBSERVICE in a spreadsheet, and not when I use http in WEBSERVICE
in a spreadsheet.

An example in macro-land:

```
result = svc.callFunction("WEBSERVICE",Array("http://google.com";))
ThisComponent.Sheets(0).getCellRangeByName("$A$1").setString(result)
result = svc.callFunction("WEBSERVICE",Array("https://google.com";)) rem ERROR
ThisComponent.Sheets(0).getCellRangeByName("$A$2").setString(result)
```

I get an error on the second WEBSERVICE call, but the first finishes correctly.
 The error is:
```
BASIC runtime error.
An exception occurred
Type: com.sun.star.lang.IllegalArgumentException
Message: /home/buildslave/source/libo-core/sc/source/ui/unoobj/funcuno.cxx
```
...which isn't *super* helpful.

Anyway, that might explain why Fede got the error and Buovjaga didn't.

I still see the bug in a local build of commit 005adbef (2021-03-18)

Considering that others do not see the problem and that there is an
obvious workaround, I am setting bug status RESOLVED INSUFFICIENTDATA.

In fact this change, when entering/exiting a comment, switches you away from
_any_ tab to the Home tab. So if you were in the "References" or "Insert" tabs,
it'll switch you away from those too.

At the end of the day, I'm not sure any auto-switching is a good idea unless
you're selecting image/chart/form objects vs text.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141136] New: Tabbed toolbar mode keeps switching you away from the "Review" tab towards the "Home" tab each time you enter (focus) or leave a comment

2021-03-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141136

Bug ID: 141136
   Summary: Tabbed toolbar mode keeps switching you away from the
"Review" tab towards the "Home" tab each time you
enter (focus) or leave a comment
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: nekoh...@gmail.com

The "Review" tab has many functions that are relevant to comments, and changes
tracking. Namely:
- Comment
- Reply Comment
- Delete Comment
- Format All Comments (only available in the "Tabbed Compact" mode, but I would
want to see it available in the regular Tabbed mode too...)

If I am inside that tab (in Tabbed or Tabbed Compact toolbar), LibreOffice
should not switch me away from that tab automatically, yet this is what happens
currently:

- If I am in the page's contents, reviewing various tracked changes, and then I
click inside a comment to edit the comment, it switches me away from the Review
tab to the Home tab.

- If I am inside a comment, and I would like to use the various comment-related
functions, I switch to the Review tab... but as soon as I click away from the
comment, it switches me back to the Home tab! That's a huge waste of time if
you want to do that for multiple comments.

In the traditional View menu, the "Normal" and "Web" modes are correctly shown
as radiobuttons of the same group, since they are mutually exclusive.

In the alternative toolbar modes such as tabbed and groupedbar toolbars, when
you use the View menubutton, they are shown as checkboxes instead of
radiobuttons.

> "level in its list hierarchy"
Point of clarification: The main reason for proposing "hierarchy" is "smallest
possible change" principle. It is already used in this and other help
pages(e.g.,
https://help.libreoffice.org/7.2/en-US/text/swriter/01/05130004.html).

Here is another possibility, illustrated by rewriting the first bullet point on
this (incorrect) help page:
https://help.libreoffice.org/7.2/en-US/text/swriter/guide/insert_tab_innumbering.html

   "To move a paragraph down one hierarchical level in the list outline,
click at the beginning of the paragraph, then press Tab."

At least on Linux, you can first generate the German locale
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Locale

So in /etc/locale.gen you want to uncomment the line with de_DE.UTF-8 UTF-8 and
generate with locale-gen

Then you can launch LibreOffice from the command line with

But changing (-135 * 65536) to (45 * 65536) there does not solve the problem
with ppt import. I get a wrong direction for the left/bottom shape in ppt file
in case I had changed GetSkew() to use 45.

I have attached the ppt file, so that it is possible to test, that any change
still opens that file correctly.

In a local build of commit 005adbef built and running on
debian-buster, I see:

(*) In step (6), the program exands the box to 7 lines; this fully
accommodates the SQL statement.

(*) If I insert newlines to spread the SQL statement beyond 7 lines,
Libreoffice adds a vertical scrollbar. This happens with VCL both
gtk3 and gen.

I am setting bug status RESOLVED WORKSFORME.

The problem is, that I do not know where to change the binary import. On the
other hand adding the default values in case of missing draw:extrusion-skew
attribute is easy in principle.

--- Comment #8 from Roman Kuznetsov <79045_79...@mail.ru> ---
Confirm a crash in

Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 43f4769ae537310a6fe6a1edfbc6687cc26fd996
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: ru-RU
Calc: threaded

https://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/e2cd7507-51e2-417a-8d46-1a5b4ef6fd7f

but it's really strange, that option was disable until I reset user profile.

And I can't repro it in 6.2, 6.4 and 7.0 because that option is disabled there
always...

Jim, may be we'll close this as duplicate of bug 140936?
