[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 145080] make sure, cell selection colors use good contrast when following system highlight color on macOS
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145080 --- Comment #9 from steve --- @Heiko: how is this bug here a duplicate of #143733, which is about making the border wider for better visibility, while this bug here is about using colors that provide good contrast? Both bugs are about the current border lacking visibility however the solutions differ and are certainly not a duplicate of each other. And re: deviating from system colors - it certainly makes sense to not deviate. But I fail to understand how the current very light blue used in LibreOffice should be or match the macOS blue system accent color. Attaching a screenshot of the system color selection and the blue shown there is completely unrelated to the blue used in LibreOffice. The macOS accent colors would solve the contrast issue with the current color choices from LibreOffice. Where is LibreOffice getting the color values from? Could you link the push back you are referring to? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 146520] New: Strange behavior of LibreOffice Writer (Intel) on MacBook Air M1 chip
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146520 Bug ID: 146520 Summary: Strange behavior of LibreOffice Writer (Intel) on MacBook Air M1 chip Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.2.4.1 release Hardware: ARM OS: macOS (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: david.s...@agingsafely.com Description: I have been working on my 2020 Macbook Air M1 for about 9 months. I use LibreOffice writer a lot. I NEVER use direct formatting, except for bold and italics. Yet I find chunks of text with direct formatting (font size, typeface, etc). I fix these via (remove direct formatting, default character style) throughout the document. This happens over and over. My book technical template uses 8 page styles of 6x9" size. I wanted to make a report template with different page sizes and margins. When I adjust a page size, multiple page styles would change. When I set a page sto a specific style. multiple pages would change. I booted up my old Intel 2012 Macbook Pro and tried the above with the same version of LibreOffice Writer and all worked well! So these problems appear to only show up on Apple Silicon. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Take the attached file, Change page size on pages to 8.5x11" and margins to 1". 2. Apply Body Recto style to a FM Recto page 3. See what pages change page-style. There will be more than one. Actual Results: Multiple pages change page-style. Expected Results: Only one page should change Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: None -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

This commit changes that to percentage so we can have scaling factors like 1.5x or 1.25x. This is useful with 2.7k monitors that are in between standard DPI and HiDPI. Thresholding was adjusted to scale to 1.5x when DPI is between 120 and 168 DPI. The old method GetDPIScaleFactor has been changed to return a float value insted of int. Sometimes it is however more accurate to use GetDPIScalePercentage which was added in this commit. https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=69b6ab1f8de08b3418fd42d56076a73d40a29229 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
