I think you are right and the problem might have its > source in my eclipse setup. Developing LO macros with eclipse is quite > tricky because I haven't found a way to establish the UNO bindings yet. There are some information about using an IDE with LibreOffice's python on wiki [1], but nothing about Eclipse. Admittedly the documentation about this area is rather sparse. > Is there a reference list showing which Python version comes with which LO > release? Not that I know of. One can always look into the source code repository and deduce this information from git log, but that's not easy. And it isn't very useful anyway, because (1) it only shows the version of bundled python, which is usually the case for Windows, but many Linux distributions build LibreOffice with system's python and don't bundle it, therefore the python version will just be the distribution's choice for the whole system; and (2) the bundled python is just a subset of the official upstream python and many modules of the standard library are stripped, so it's a bit unreliable to predict which python feature is available just by looking at the bundled python version number. 1. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Macros/Python_Design_Guide -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94929 --- Comment #11 from B.J. Herbison --- I see this problem every day. This bug is still present with: Version: 6.4.7.2 Build ID: 1:6.4.7-0ubuntu0.20.04.2 CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL I'd be glad to test with a newer version if you would provide me with a coherent set of installation instructions. The first place I looked (https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/install-howto/linux/) say to use the version from my OS. How to I get a later version on Ununtu? I then found https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Install/Linux and the "Graphic Installation (Preferred Way)" failed. From the command line instruction it says that Ubuntu should use .deb files, but the kit that the download page gave me (the link from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/ ) contains rpm files. Can you just give me either an installation program to run or a tar file I can extract and just run the file in the extracted directory? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 146109] Macro Commands Execute Out of Sequence
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146109 --- Comment #6 from Daniel Baran --- Thanks for this feedback raal, I'm seeing a slightly different bevavior in v7.2.5 (Windows 11). Moving the saveas dialog has no effect, and the cells remain filled. The cells are only cleared after I click save or cancel on the saveas dialog. Additionally, I tried your suggestion of adding a wait to the macro (we think alike). With a 500ms delay before the saveas request, everything sequences as expected. So that is a workaround, but I would need to edit numerous files to implement. My main reason for the original post is the concern that the change in behavior from previous versions might have additional ramifications. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 147050] [FILEOPEN] NUMBERS table incorrect number formats
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147050 --- Comment #3 from SheetJS --- A "Sheet" in Numbers can contain multiple objects, including "Tables" and charts and text boxes. LibreOffice projects each supported object into its own "worksheet". If a table has a title, the generated worksheet uses the title as the worksheet name. That decision loosely "makes sense" given that LO has no direct equivalent of a Numbers Sheet. In the "Interactive Chart" Sheet in Numbers, there is a text box, a table and a chart. LibreOffice put the text box in the "Interactive Chart" worksheet. Since the table has a title "Monthly Sales by Region", LibreOffice actually generated a worksheet called "Monthly Sales by Region" and put the table there. The phrase `Table "Monthly Sales by Region" (original table in worksheet "Interactive Chart")` should be parsed as 'LibreOffice generated a table "Monthly Sales by Region". This table corresponds to the "Interactive Chart" Numbers sheet.' -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 147057] Wrong Python version (seems to be 3.8, but doesn't know 3.6 feature)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147057 --- Comment #2 from peter.88...@t-online.de --- Thank you so much for the quick response, Ming Hua. Following your advice, I could verify the Python version number and make sure that f-strings are basically working on the command line. Before filing my bug report, I already tried that, but with C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\python-core-3.8.8\bin\python.exe which is not working at all on my system. Please close the issue. I think you are right and the problem might have its source in my eclipse setup. Developing LO macros with eclipse is quite tricky because I haven't found a way to establish the UNO bindings yet. Is there a reference list showing which Python version comes with which LO release? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 31738] Copy - Paste sheet destroys text formatting
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31738 Alexis Wilke changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|WORKSFORME |--- Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED --- Comment #4 from Alexis Wilke --- I have the same issue. Each time I copy/paste a table from Cacl, the formatting of the entire post (including the original from the sender) gets modified to at least the font size of the Calc data. To me it feels like that font size gets added to the global CSS affecting the entire post as a consequence. I'm under Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 at the moment) and I've seen this happen for years. I'm sure many of us would appreciate a fix to this. It probably happens with other types of data too... (anything that pastes HTML in a way similar to Calc). This was marked as Resolved, it never worked for me. I'm not too sure how you can make it work. If it really works for you, maybe you could be so kind as showing us the steps you take to make it work correctly? On my end, I do: 1. Read an email and decide I should answer 2. Click "Reply" 3. Write an intro such as "Hi There, this is me..." 4. Go to Calc and Copy a table 5. Come back to Thunderbird and type Ctrl-V under my intro 6. ALL the text, i.e. my intro and the text from the original email is all small now -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

This is > exactly what we need for "一、二、三" numbering in Writer. This solves a part of > bug 77803. Alas, this reminded me that the libnumbertext-based formatting is also provided through the [NatNum12] formatting in Calc. So for you original problem, using "[NatNum12]0" instead of "[NatNum4]0" format code should give you the desired result, at least on an up-to-date [1] Calc [2]. 1. Version 7.2 or earlier has a but for numbers like 201 and 2345, see https://github.com/Numbertext/libnumbertext/issues/83 2. [NatNum4] is also used for importing Microsoft's .xls/.xlsx files when they contain [DBNum1] format code, if I read bug 130193 correctly.
