The use case, to have two documents side by side, is relevant and we should store the window position with the document. As today, new documents should take the position/size of the last session, even when the document was not not saved. The (to be introduced) document's window position/size overrules the workstation info. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130383] Filesave ODS: Row height after Optimal Height still opens as 1 line instead of 2 in cell F5 (not with XLS/X)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130383 he...@ungoverned.org changed: What|Removed |Added CC||he...@ungoverned.org --- Comment #10 from he...@ungoverned.org --- Created attachment 178926 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=178926&action=edit Simple spreadsheet demonstating the issue I am trying to resolve a similar issue at my organization. I've seen lots of bugs reported on this and related topics, but none seem to provide me a solution. I can confirm that this happens under Linux and Windows and with OpenOffice and LibreOffice. So, clearly, it is not a new issue. The attached spreadsheet has two cells (C2:H2 & C3:H3) with wrapped values that always open with little red overflow triangles, no matter how many times I set their height to optimal and save them. I have experimented and found that it is, at a minimum, dependent on what the font size is, what the viewing zoom level is, and what the content length is. Changing these values does not fix the issue, but depending on their precise values it may mask the issue. As you can see from the attached spreadsheet, the cells in rows 1 and 4 seem to have an appropriate cell height, but that is most likely a quirk of the combination of factors. Changing the factors will likely result in some row heights being correct and others not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148040 --- Comment #3 from Eike Rathke --- Checking rDoc.IsFunctionAccess() in isLinkUpdateAllowedInDoc() if there is no SfxObjectShell looks viable, apparently it could also work without the non-present sfx2::LinkManager in this case, needs to be checked. However, careful with still obeying the "update links when opening" setting, I think if that is set to Never also the function access shouldn't be allowed to do so. Unfortunately there is no caller parent document here that could be asked to determine the on request and always cases. Probably the interim document should have EnableExecuteLink() set accordingly in ScTempDocSource::CreateDocument(). So then in isLinkUpdateAllowedInDoc() it would be checking rDoc.IsFunctionAccess() && rDoc.IsExecuteLinkEnabled() -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148041] New: Clicking text will make line spacing change for no reason in Impress
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148041 Bug ID: 148041 Summary: Clicking text will make line spacing change for no reason in Impress Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.3.1.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rafael.palma.l...@gmail.com Created attachment 178921 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=178921&action=edit Video showing the problem Occasionally clicking on a slide text will make the spacing between lines change for no apparent reason, which makes it very difficult to prepare a slide that will look "stable". See the attached video. When I open the file, there's very few spacing between lines. Then when I click another text box, the line spacing increases. Clicking back in the slide text will make line spacing reduce again. Repeating this cycle for some time will make the problem eventually stop, but then all of a sudden it starts happening again. To reproduce this bug: 1) Make sure you have the correct fonts installed (Lato and Bitter from Google fonts) 2) Open the sample ODP file, which is the one I used in the video 3) Click anywhere in the slide text 4) Now click the text box in the middle of the slide 5) Notice the line spacing changing 6) Keep clicking in and out of the slide text and at some point the problem will stop This problem does not happen all the time, but it happens very often with me. Maybe it has to do with font height calculations, but this is just a guess. The video was make using LO 7.3.1 but this issue has happened since at least 7.1.
