Yeah, both if anybody is working on it and which, if any of the functions still
need to be worked on, with a similar template as given in the description.

I've changed the default colors in Writer to be light on dark because it's
easier on my eyes (even after reducing my monitor's contrast and brightness as
much as possible). For comments, the document's primary font color is used, but
the background is still a gradient based on a dark-on-light theme. This means
trying to read white-on-bright-yellow text, which is all but impossible.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148156] New: Open Report Macro Deadlock in Windows 10

2022-03-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148156

Bug ID: 148156
Summary: Open Report Macro Deadlock in Windows 10
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Base
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: sandi.kusn...@gmail.com

Created attachment 179061

Deadlock bug

Dear Sir/Madam,

I’m using Libreoffice base 7.3.0.3 with Firebird 3.0.

I wonder why the following open report macro (executed with a command button in
a Form) works perfectly fine in Ubuntu 20.04 but not in Windows 10 (=
deadlock):

>thisdatabasedocument.reportdocuments.getbyname(“PrintInvoice”).open

Moreover, if the macro is executed from macro-editor, it works perfectly fine
(even in Windows 10). But if the macro is executed from a button in a form,
Libreoffice base crashes.

Please find the attached odb file.

The problem occurs when I use “Invoice Bisnis” button in “Invoice Daftar” Form
to open “InvoiceBisnis” report.

Here's a hint for you guys: when a bug report is left untouched for more than a
year, you know what that usually means? It means you ignored it and didn't fix
it. It doesn't usually mean it magically fixed itself. It is ridiculous to
keep asking users to repeatedly re-confirm that bug exists. Once the bug is
known to exist it should be assumed to still exist until you affirmatively
demonstrate that it has been fixed.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148154] New: Reordering Conditional Formats (Not Conditions)?

2022-03-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148154

Bug ID: 148154
Summary: Reordering Conditional Formats (Not Conditions)?
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.3.1.3 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: carl2...@outlook.com

Description:
Hello,

I am using LibreOffice 7.3.1 and working on sheets using Calc.

Under “Format” > “Conditional” > “Manage…”, there is a list of Conditional
Formats. When “Edit…” is clicked, a list of Conditions will show up. The order
of Conditions can, indeed, be changed by the buttons labeled “Up” and “Down”.
However, the order of Conditional Formats cannot be changed, as there does not
exist similar buttons in the first dialog, but only in the second one.

The order of Conditional Formats affects their priority, which then affects the
specific formats being applied. Can the feature be added to allow the
rearranging of the order of Conditional Formats without removing and adding
them one by one?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to “Format” > “Conditional” > “Manage…”.
2. Add several Conditional Formats.
3. Attempt to rearrange said Conditional Formats.

Actual Results:
There exist no option to rearrange the order of Conditional Formats.

Expected Results:
The order of Conditional Formats can be rearranged through drag and drop or
buttons.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
There has been several bug reports in the past that mention a similar feature
request, however it should be noted that this request is different and concerns
a feature that is not yet available in the newest release at the time of
writing.

It seems totally weird and not logical at all to have table style preview
foreground and background colors dependent on some non existant page style,
instead it should work at least with any default empty page without needing any
customized page style.

I tested it with a new customized page style and it still doesn't work for me.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148153] New: Frame does not pay attention to the inner boundary of a document

2022-03-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148153

Bug ID: 148153
Summary: Frame does not pay attention to the inner boundary of
a document
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.2.5.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: sno...@ilnet.ch

Description:
As you can see in the attached document, the frame ignores the inner boundary
of the document and does not flip to the next page.
The same behavior could be seen, if you generate a foot note. The picture
overwrites the paragraph with the text.
I expect, that the picture flip to the next page, if it overwrites the
"virtual" boundary or the frame moves upwards until the ancor for the frame is
moved to the next page and there the whole frame needs to be beyound the upper
border.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open new document
2.insert a frame
3.insert paragraphs above until the frame looks outside the border or
overwrites a foot note

Actual Results:
foot note or border is overwritten

Expected Results:
frame flips to the next page or stays above the foot note / lower border

Reproducible: Always

On which Linux distrib with which version?
Do you use Gnome, KDE, XFCE, other?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 38261] Better Find with regular expressions

2022-03-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon

"Now", i.e. since 2017, AltSearch 1.4.2 is available. It has some important
features:

* it can search for regular expressions. Unfortunately the ? quantifier (at
least once, but you may circumvent that one by {1,}) and the * quantifier (any
number of times including zero times) don't work, also lookback and
lookahead-conditions are not supported (e.g. (?<=-)(\d{2})(?=-) meaning exact
2 digits with a minus sign before and after them which are not caught by the
regex)

* searching for \p and replacing it by \n lets you exchange paragraph marks by
forced line feeds, a function which I use very often and which misses terribly
in LO Writer and which alone probably would be easily implementabel,

* it can search for all occurrences of a given character prototype. Once they
are found and marked (unfortunately this takes a lot of time) you can assign
just another character prototype to all found samples (LO Writer can't do
that),

* it can search for all occurrences of a given paragraph prototype. Once they
are found and marked (unfortunately this takes a lot of time) you can assign
just another paragraph prototype to all found paragraphs (LO Writer also can do
that),

* it can search for a whole range of other text properties e.g. italics,
underline, hyperlinks, ... (I have not tried them out).

For men, replace any paragraph marks (including any number of white spaces
before them) by a linefeed is the most used function of AltSearch.

Due to the implementation in some type of Basic interpreter, AltSearch is very
slow. Unfortunately it is not free from bugs. The worst one I know about is
that it might remove the whole highlighted region if it is part of a table. To
safeguard me from this bug, I always extract the whole range where AltSearch
shall be applied (if it is part of a table) to a new document and do the
replacements there. When done, I cut it from the intermediate document and
paste it to the table where the stuff belongs.

Meanwhile LibreOffice has some regular expression capabilities. Lookahead and
lookbehind work. Unfortunately \1 \2, \3... for capture groups don't work in
the replacement part (one would e.g. use this to transform date in the form
mm/dd/ to dd.mm. or -mm-dd).

The important missing thing in LO's replace dialog with respect to regular
expressions is the ability to store regexes + replacement rules and assign
names to them in order to reuse them. AltSearch shows a good model for an user
interface for that.

2022-03-23 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147610

--- Comment #7 from Michael Setzer II ---
Not a problem. It's easy to fix, and seems to be a change that is in both 7.2x
and 7.3x. Just the Fedora 34 is still using 7.1.8 with Fedora 34. So, when
access machine with default version of Libre calc it is set to the one table
name, but if with 7.2x or 7.3x have to change table name. Is a spreadsheet that
get the external link on open for covid data, so data changes from site daily
and Fedora 35 machines have 7.2x as default libre office. So it is a minor
issue that will go away at some point. Don't know if there would be a way to
have it so, the one sheet could try one link, and if it didn't work
automatically use the other?

Thanks again. Was just something different between version, and wanted to note
it.

Have 7.1.8 and 7.2.6.2 and 7.3.1.3 on my notebook with Fedora 34.
Can use any of the 3.

In this commit we changed how the tables from the external data sources will be
named in LO. So unfortunately, you have to change the data source to the
correct table name. Imho, wont fix for me since the same would happen, if they
change the naming of the tables in the source documnet.

   Product: LibreOffice

  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ges...@blackrosetech.com

Description:
After making text wrap to multiline, the row height and content displayed in
the spreadsheet doesn't match the row index or the select highlight box.
Saving and reopening corrects the display anomaly temporarily.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type text into a cell that exceeds the column width - it extends into the
next column as expected
2. reformat the cell to "wrap text automatically"
3. observe

Actual Results:
The spreadsheet grid displays the same but with fill arrows (>) instead of
wrapping, the row index bar shows expected row heights as one would expect as a
consequences of wrapping to multi-line. The highlight boxes and cell select
index box match the row index bar, but the display doesn't match.

Expected Results:
row lines and content to match the row heights.

That bug is quite different. At the present I have problem only with one file
(and I don't know why).
You asked my macro. Here you are:

sub vai_qui

If ThisComponent.supportsService("com.sun.star.text.TextDocument") Then

oBookmarks = ThisComponent.getBookmarks()
If NOT oBookmarks.hasByName("qui") Then
   Exit Sub
End If

ViewCursor = ThisComponent.CurrentController.getviewCursor()
Bookmark = ThisComponent.Bookmarks.getByName("qui").Anchor
ViewCursor.gotorange(Bookmark, False)

else
   Exit Sub
End If

end sub

With this macro on opening document I before I go to the right point, but after
a few seconds I go elsewhere (without any reason).

There are two methods to create autovalue fields. One is directly with datatype
SERIAL, the other with PRIMARY KEY GENERATED BY DEFAULT AS IDENTITY . The
second expression has been added in PostgreSQL 10, so end of 2017. It had been
added because it will be used in other database engines in the same way.

AutoValue created by SERIAL will be shown in direct connected PostgreSQL table.

Don't know an attribute that defines the number of visible lines (and does it
makes any sense?). What I do is to size the control so it shows a certain
number of lines. The exported PDF uses this height attribute correctly.
