[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152003] Random empty text files appear in desktop most each time I use LibreOffice

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 151708] Unsaved documents are no longer recovered
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151708 --- Comment #10 from Robert Großkopf --- You saved one file before killing the process. Did you changed content after you have saved something in the file? Is this new content also available in the recovered document? Have tested this and no new content was available here. What did you choose in Tools → Options → Load/Save → General → Save AutoRecovery Information every: … minutes? Have set this to 2 minutes, waited 3 minutes after changing content or created a new unsaved document with new content. All unsaved content is there, also the content of the unsaved document. Tested with Version: 7.4.3.1 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 3793858a34d8fef5b92f8fee233f97766f05e281 CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded So I can't confirm a buggy behavior here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151799 --- Comment #2 from Robert Großkopf --- Did you load Remote Files before? Then try by "Clear Recent Documents". Also try by starting through "Help" → "Restart in Safe Mode…". Last chance: Reset you user profile. Path to the profile could be found through "Tools" → "Options" → "LibreOffice" → "Paths". Should be something like …libreoffice/4… Rename '4' to '4old'. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 145359] Enter group: functionality to add an existing shape to a group is missing
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145359 --- Comment #6 from Jim Raykowski --- Created attachment 183555 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=183555=edit single line insert indicator Hi Roman, Is this better behavior? In order to show single line insert at position indication it seems we can't have tree net lines. For qt5 and x11 vcl backends there are rendering glitches when the tree is scrolled while dragging an item. These may be due to the full debug build I use. Gtk3 has a glitch when a group is dragged that does not show all objects in the group until the canvas gets focus. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152017] New: footnotes move onto the next page as I add paragraphs to my document
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152017 Bug ID: 152017 Summary: footnotes move onto the next page as I add paragraphs to my document Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.4.2.3 release Hardware: Other OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: sarah_davie...@hotmail.com Description: I have stopped using Zotero as it does not offer good support for genealogical related sources. Instead, I create a footnote entry and paste in the Chicago reference generated by the Roots Magic software from my remote Ancestry tree. However, something weird has just happened... As I enter additional paragraphs before a referenced sentence [Alt I, T], my footnotes are (line by line) moved down onto a new page. The footnotes should stay together, and the paragraph text should move down, even if the footnotes take up most of one page. I wondered whether anybody else has encountered this? It sure is a strange one! Many thanks, Sarah Actual Results: My footnotes are moved (line by line) onto a new page. In Safe Mode, much of my document was missing. Expected Results: The paragraph text should eventually go onto a new / following page rather than the footnotes doing so. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.4.2.3 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 382eef1f22670f7f4118c8c2dd222ec7ad009daf CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 22000; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: CL -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 151904] Create color configuration entry for Grammar mistakes
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151904 Rafael Lima changed: What|Removed |Added See Also||https://bugs.documentfounda ||tion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10 ||3691 Keywords|needsUXEval | --- Comment #3 from Rafael Lima --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #2) > Spell-checking works across all modules while grammar is checked only in > Writer. Reminds me on the track changes options. But neither moving the > color options (for example to tools > options > language settings) nor > splitting in General and Writer makes much sense. IMO the easier solution would be to move the "Grammar mistakes" under the "Text document" section of the "Application colors" dialog. > I wonder if the languagetool benefits from the option. Bug 103691 requests the implementation of API that allows LanguageTool (LT) to define colors and text formatting. However this is from a time when LT was delivered as an extension. I think we could have LT colors defined in its own options dialog (under Tools - Options - Language Settings - Language Tool Settings) Note that in the above proposal, I think we should rename "Language Tool Server Settings" to simply "Language Tool Settings". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Please ask on ask.libreoffice.org, or if you are confident this is a bug, please provide a simple example document that displays the issue, so we can test it easily. For now, I am closing this as "invalid" as we understand it more as a question rather than a bug report. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152003] Random empty text files appear in desktop most each time I use LibreOffice
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152003 --- Comment #5 from Victor Marin --- It seems that it's not a LibreOffice bug, but a Thunderbird one. If I open an attachment document of an email that I'm redacting, then automatically shows up such empty text files, with the extension of the type of file I opened and ending with ".part". So, if I open a mp4 video file, it appears in the desktop a file like this one: 10v4kMKn.mp4.part or if I open a photo, then it appears in the desktop another empty text file, like this: 2tefkA_u.jpeg.part. As I open often documents while writing an email, then most times it appear files like: LLJ57TEH.odt.part or sb3Flnea.docx.part. But if I open a webpage, then it appears something like: W57aLebY.html.part. And this happens always. So, I'm submitting a bug report to Thunderbird. Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
