Later I added a sentence or two to the text of file1 and sent it to him as file2 but he could not open it. Still later I did proof reading with track changes on in a file he sent me and sent it back to him as file3 but he could not open that one either. Of course all three files still open for me in LO 7.4.2.3 This is a very big problem for me. Thank you for your help! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152598] New application and .odf icons are blurry on Windows taskbar at default 24x24px
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152598 Heiko Tietze changed: What|Removed |Added Assignee|libreoffice-b...@lists.free |qmebic1...@gmail.com |desktop.org | Status|NEW |ASSIGNED --- Comment #5 from Heiko Tietze --- Although the MSO Word icon looks more blurry to me than our Writer icon MSO seems to store the icons as resources in wordicon.exe (and co) but has a few *.ico in the office folder. One is lync.ico with these sizes: 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 72, 96, 256 + 20, 40, 60 (plus some duplicates and a few icons with higher contrast; in total 23). The MSDN page [1] says: "Application icons and Control Panel items: The full set includes 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, and 256x256 (code scales between 32 and 256). The .ico file format is required. For Classic Mode, the full set is 16x16, 24x24, 32x32, 48x48 and 64x64." Our previous icons were 16, 22, 24, 32, 48, 64, 128, 256 the new icons are in 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 The MSDN page continues: "Quick Launch area: Icons will scale down from 48x48 in Alt+Tab dynamic overlays, but for a more crisp version, add a 40x40 to .ico file Additional sizes: These are useful to have on hand as resources to make other files (for example, annotations, toolbar strips, overlays, high dpi, and special cases): 128x128, 96x96, 64x64, 40x40, 24x24, 22x22, 14x14, 10x10, and 8x8." Seems we are missing 24px and 48px, not sure about 22px and the 40px. Assigning the ticket proactively :-) [1] https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/uxguide/vis-icons -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152628] New: libreoffice-draw: doesn't properly print slides that are larger than the paper size
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152628 Bug ID: 152628 Summary: libreoffice-draw: doesn't properly print slides that are larger than the paper size Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.0.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: lk...@free.fr Description: I created a drawing intended to be 3 letter-size pages wide then attempted to print it using the Distribute on multiple sheets of paper print option. When I select this option, the preview pane shows the drawing being rendered incorrectly and printing across 6 pages, instead of the 3 that it should require. Steps to Reproduce: I followed these steps to replicate the behaviour: * Open LibreOffice Draw. * File → Open; select the example document “Open House arrows.odg” (from message #10). The document opens and looks fine. * File → Print The Print dialogue box appears. The small preview pane shows: * width “216 mm (Letter)”, height “279 mm”. * “1/1” in the navigation control, implying one page to print. * LibreOffice Draw → Size → Distribute on multiple sheets of paper The small preview pane shows: * width “216 mm (Letter)”, height “279 mm”. * “1/6” in the navigation control, implying six pages to print. * Navigate the preview pane through the pages. * Options → Options → Print to file. * Print to File, select a PDF filename in the Save dialogue. * Open the generated PDF document. Actual Results: Both the Print preview pane, and the generated PDF document, show the same problem originally reported: * The document content appears to spread too wide, extending beyond the width of 3 pages. * The document content appears correct height in the first three pages. * Three extra pages are generated, containing a small portion of the bottom of the first three pages near the top of each extra page. Expected Results: 3 pages on preview and printed document only. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Found with 5.0.3 on Debian. Also reproduced with 7.4.3 on Windows. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152624] New: Numbered Lists in LibreOffice Writer
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152624 Bug ID: 152624 Summary: Numbered Lists in LibreOffice Writer Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.3.7.2 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: john.lafounta...@gmail.com Description: In LibreOffice Writer, I highlighted five text lines to make a numbered a list. I make the new numbered list, but also all the separate lists below in the text are renumbered to be in sequence with the new list numbers. I did not highlight the lists below and they are each separated by unformated text. So why are they considered part of the new list in terms of sequence numbers? Steps to Reproduce: 1. Highlighted the five unformated text lines with the mouse. 2. Right clicked, clicked List from the options, & clicked Numbering123ListStyle. 3. Actual Results: New List: 1. Requirements 2. Tasks and their subtasks 3. Actual user 4. Importance to user words/feedback 5. Breaking user stories for larger requirements ... (some unformated text) ... Next Existing List: 6. Independent – Not dependent on other. 7. Negotiable – Includes the important avoid contract. 8. Valuable – Provide value to customer. 9. Estimable – It should be estimated. 10. Small – It should be simple and small not complex. 11. Testable – It should be evaluated by pre-written acceptance criteria. Expected Results: New List: 1. Requirements 2. Tasks and their subtasks 3. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152556] Right-click context menu for line numbering area should show line-numbering-related items
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152556 --- Comment #3 from Eyal Rozenberg --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #2) > The focus never leaves the document margins Not sure what you mean. Line Numbering can't be focused, IIANM. So why does the focus matter? User intent is clear when clicking the LN, which are well outside the paragraphs they relate to. > so you do actually not click the line numbers. I literally am clicking the line numbers. > And from my POV not much benefit to have an extra context menu > for this function to show LN on/off or to show TC in margins yes/no. TC? Anyway, if I click some visible element of the document, or the non-document UI, I expect the context menu to relate to what I've clicked - and it doesn't. The user should not have to know when LN is on the menus to get to the dialog controlling it. Think of the user who's opened a document with LN and wants to tweak it or turn it off. What are they going to do? Naturally, right-click the LN. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
