Interestingly all/most CS keep the initial Default PS font, although it has no effect in most cases. Obviously not in case of Line Numbering. It seems that we have a deeper problem - CS should follow / not modify the actual Default PS (instead of being initialized once), and a NAB situation for the line numbering - use Default PS and allow modification via CS "Line Numbering" (with another minor issue that this CS is not listed with applied styles). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

The statusbar panel should have a tooltip according SvxModifyControl::StateChangedAtStatusBarControl() with RID_SVXSTR_DOC_MODIFIED_YES/_NO but it wont show up, at least for me on Linux/qt5. The images are svx/res/doc_modified_yes_14.png, svx/res/doc_modified_no_14.png, and svx/res/doc_modified_feedback.png - and therefore themed. So it does depend on the icon theme, and if we recommend Sifr for color blind users, the distinction between yes and no must not be the colorization. Hi Rafael, Sorry, No. The effect is definitely dependent upon focusing outside the autofilter drop-down. If I just meander through the Calc I get no hints or tips on any of the ribbon items but I do get mouse response when hovering over anything in the autofilter drop-down - just no keyboard response in the search box. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117266] FILESAVE: xlsm- spreedsheet looses macro-linked buttons (and links) after saving
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117266 --- Comment #12 from Justin L --- Way back in LO 4.0, the exported file could not be really be imported by MS Excel. When LO 7.6 exports the file, MS Excel does import (unlabelled) buttons that are connected to macros (even though it isn't working properly). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152953] New: macOS: Spreadsheet window randomly comes to the top of my desktop
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152953 Bug ID: 152953 Summary: macOS: Spreadsheet window randomly comes to the top of my desktop Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.4.3.2 release Hardware: ARM OS: macOS (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ken.shirr...@gmail.com Description: The LibreOffice spreadsheet window keeps coming to the top of the windows on my desktop. I'll have a spreadsheet window with other application windows on top. If I pass the mouse over the spreadsheet window, it will randomly jump to the front. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Put a couple of windows over the spreadsheet so the part of the spreadsheet is visible. 2. Move the cursor back and forth over the windows including the spreadsheet 3. Passing slowly over a spreadsheet icon, such as the File icon, seems to trigger the problem. Actual Results: The spreadsheet window pops to the front. Or sometimes pops in front of some windows but not others. This is annoying because it interrupts what I was trying to do; I am not actively using LibreOffice when this happens. Expected Results: The mouse moves around the desktop and nothing happens. Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: This started happening when I upgraded LibreOffice. No other applications have this behavior. So I think it's a LibreOffice bug and not a window manager issue. But it's possible the problem is outside LibreOffice. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

That would result in different character styles in the column of > line numbers when e.g. a block quote has a different font than the > surrounding text, or when headings have a different font than the basic > text. So I think, that would be no good solution. I agree. If there are different paragraphs with different font families, I don't want to see the LN font family change in the middle of the page. But then, I also don't like to see the LN font _size_ change on the same page; I would expect to be able to choose whether LN font, including size, is made uniform over a full section. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152480] Writer hangs when opening dialogs for paragraph and character formatting.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152480 --- Comment #9 from Stian --- Additional info: When hanging, performance monitor reports that L-o uses no cpu and has no disk access as well as the process is in 'not responding' mode. Also, my kill works directly. This makes me think that the problem may be that L-o waits for an external event, an interrupt from Windows. The long hanging, which reoccurs, first made me think that Writer is scanning the file system, registry or some other data sources. But this is probably not the case, as Performance Monitor shows passivity. Regarding the bug behavior: I checked further and found that the page settings dialogue also hangs. But the bullets and numbering dialogue opens fine. I believe that the basic character of this problem makes it feasible for a product analyst to identify relevant areas in the code. I now run 7.0.4.2 which does not have this problem on my old Win10 pc, but where the problems exist, and also appears on program start up, on my new Win10 pc. On both pc -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152537] No obvious UI to set the document default font used e.g. in Line Numbering
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152537 --- Comment #18 from Regina Henschel --- The numbers used in "Line Numbering" are styled by the character style "Line Numbering". To change the font alter that style or select a different one and set the font there. The line numbering dialog has a drop-down list to determine the to be used character style. That is similar to the list style dialog where you can determine the character style for the list numbering. So I thought that would be obvious, but apparently not. Most (all?) of the predefined character styles do not set a font. That way the font defined in the paragraph where a portion of text is located is used when the character style is applied to that portion of text. "Line Numbering" is different as the numbers are not inside a paragraph. But do we want line numbering to follow the paragraph of the same line, for example? That would result in different character styles in the column of line numbers when e.g. a block quote has a different font than the surrounding text, or when headings have a different font than the basic text. So I think, that would be no good solution. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Although it complains about dark mode, I believe it is the same root cause. Both bug reports are related to kf5. Apparently the outline of text boxes is not being drawn correctly in kf5. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148402] Presentation does not refresh if it's not visible
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148402 --- Comment #2 from Kuba Orlik --- Sure thing. When `org.openoffice.Office.PresenterScreen` is set to `StartAlways`, the Presenter Console will be started even when using a single display. This is super useful when presenting over Zoom, as I can just share the window with the fullscreen slide to the audience, but keep my speaker notes visible on my display at home, all on one screen. So with the `StartAlways` option, start the presentation, alt+tab to the presenter console, go to Zoom or any other screensharing app, share the window with the fullscreen presentation, alt+tab to the presenter console, change to next slide, and see that the audience still sees the first slide. Only after you alt+tab to the window with the fullscreen slide, will the audience see the next slide. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152553] Spell Check Dialog Box Fails to Automatically Close When Done
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152553 kit...@tutanota.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kit...@tutanota.com Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED Resolution|NOTABUG |--- --- Comment #3 from kit...@tutanota.com --- The so-called "fix" appears to be short-sighted. The proposal assumes that a programmer cannot think of another way to do the job. As one example, there are already flaws in the existing dialog box, such as a pop-up that asks if one wished to start at the beginning of the document. When that closes, the focus of the dialog box is lost. Oops. No, the whole thing deserves a re-think and re-program. The basic assumption is that the buttons all work the same. That is incorrect. I was selecting the Spelling Check button; not a Grammar Check button. These are two separate and distinct functions. I could go on, but there is no point. If the idea of separate functions is not understood, then the whole issue cannot be corrected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
