Seems related to bug 141892, except that one's about ODF format (see bug 141892

This happens under Ventura as well. I'm running 7.6.0.3 with build
69edd8b8ebc41d00b4de3915dc82f8f0fc3b6265 on macOS Ventura 13.6. If I resize the
window dynamically with the cursor, and release the mouse button once the
desired size is achieved, the application does not exit resizing mode. If I
click anywhere inside the resized libreoffice window, the window will resize to
the location of the mouse click. Switching focus to a second open LibreOffice
window and back to the first (resized window) usually stops the behaviour. When
the resize function is 'locked' into that mode, the cursor will remain as the
double-arrow resize form of the icon when positioned over window controls
(usually) but switches to an arrow when in the content area of a window. The
arrow does not however function as such and instead. The problem is
intermittent, most often happening when the window is first opened.

Dear Usama,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

In 6.4.0.3, the PDF Options dialog displays 0 bytes, but the actual PDF export
shows a non-zero byte file size. Whereas in 7.0.3.1, both the dialog and
exported PDF file show 0 bytes. So this may not be the best indicator to use
for this specific bug (might be a separate bug altogether).

Hi Robert, the issue is not with document opened in Writer. Rather it is with
tab movement between fields of the exported PDF opened in Adobe Reader (Core
ver. 23.1536 x64 on Win10).

That movement sequence looks to match the field sequence as listed in the LO
'Form Navigator...' dialog as opened in Writer with the ODT being edited.

2023-10-15 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157790

Bug ID: 157790
Summary: White triangles appear around a moving object (instead
of the background)
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 24.2.0.0 alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: bibisectRequest, regression
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ger...@pfeifer.com

Created attachment 190229
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=190229=edit
Sample slide (ODP)

This may be yet another 24.2 regression related to transparency.

1. Open the sample document
2. Invoke presentation mode
3. Observe how there are some white triangles "around" the moving
drone instead of the green background we expect.

Seen in

  Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
  Build ID: 489da34e9bffb234fa27155cef1931bd6f21dc1d
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
  Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US

Not seen in

  Version: 7.6.3.0.0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
  Build ID: 9c8a1994bea590db7436638580231daf31844fd6
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.5; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
  Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US

So yet another regressions.

I'm not really familiar with this, but features like sticky keys sound exactly
like what's there to address this.

(In reply to MarjaE from comment #7)
> That doesn't address commands which rely on keyboard + mouse combinations.

I've just tested this on KDE Plasma (X11 session) with the Sticky Keys feature
enabled.
Pressing Ctrl, and then clicking on a hyperlink in Calc worked in my tests for
opening a hyperlink in Calc, so that seems to work fine without requiring to
use two hands at the same time when Sticky Keys are enabled.

For a keyboard-only solution to open links in Calc, there's bug 123159.

Can you please be more specific what else is missing exactly or why the Sticky
key feature would not be an adequate solution?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157789] New: Comment size wrong behavior when zooming document

2023-10-15 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157789

Bug ID: 157789
Summary: Comment size wrong behavior when zooming document
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 24.2.0.0 alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: rgb.m...@gmail.com

Created attachment 190228
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=190228=edit
Screen-cast presenting the problem

If you have an long comment on a Writer document and zoom in, the text in the
comment gets "cut-off" because the comment box does not grow accordingly.

The attached screen-cast starts with a high zoom and then reduce it, showing
how text "appears".

This behavior is not present on previous LibreOffice versions and it wasn't
there on the first alphas, so it's a recent change.

Tested with

Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 489da34e9bffb234fa27155cef1931bd6f21dc1d
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.14; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Also happens with gtk3 UI.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157788] New: Saving the "Show navigation panel" setting for a device

2023-10-15 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157788

Bug ID: 157788
Summary: Saving the "Show navigation panel" setting for a
device
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: vladislav.taraka...@bk.ru

Description:
Currently, the value of the "Show navigation panel" parameter for presentations
is not saved. The section in which this setting is now located, apparently, is
saved in files. It might make sense to move this setting to Tools -> Options ->
LibreOffice Impress -> General, because it relates to the device rather than
the slideshow.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Impress, create a presentation
2. Enable "Show navigation panel" in Slide show -> Slide show settings...
3. Restart impress, create a new presentation
4. Start presentation

Actual Results:
Navigation panel is not visible

Expected Results:
Navigation panel is visible

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

tdf#77007: chart must honor its parent's IsEnableSetModified
Regression from commit bb97ecdbcc8d8dafd39e728b21bc68efee4eccbc,
which had dropped storing chart doc (calling its storeOwn) while
loading back in 2012, to avoid performance problems when loading
XLS.

Funnily, in 2013, commit a666862deffa33013d3df3bb62e87c67f9a89948
was merged, that was expected to solve exactly the same problem as
this change, by calling storeOwn for charts being loaded; while
obviously not fixing the problem properly, it seems to had undone
the effect of the Markus's commit.

The latter commit had a side effect of updating views of modified
charts while exporting them inside storeOwn, which made respective
draw pages to be up-to-date right after loading, including those on
inactive sheets. Now, after this change, this is not so, thus unit
tests' getChartDocFromSheet was made to update the view explicitly.

Unfortunately, it's not yet possible to revert the change from
commit a666862deffa33013d3df3bb62e87c67f9a89948, because obviously
some dependency grew, which makes e.g. testTdf122594 fail if that
commit is reverted. Given that testTdf122594 has no charts, storing
the modified objects while loading has much wider side effects than
was expected by author of a666862deffa33013d3df3bb62e87c67f9a89948.

I'm assuming this bug is about adding the command. If we also want to
simplify/alter the filtering dialog - that should be a separate bug.

(If I'm wrong - please change the title, clarify the bug's scope in a comment,
and refer to the comment in the title)

Well, I tried through behaviour of rows : change to fixed (tools, options)
and now it allows to uncheck the "ajuste dinamico"
and if I do this step (fit a row height), the table seems good, there is no
issue with borders, thanks

I guess is just steps easier
