[Bug 142494] Word Count not 0 when no words are selected
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142494 --- Comment #4 from QA Administrators --- Dear Jamie Douglass, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Bug 158423] CppunitTest_unoxml_domtest failing with libxml-2.12
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158423 --- Comment #3 from Buovjaga --- Ah, now Jan gave more info in the patch (which I merged): Yes, the header clean-ups broke too many projects (see https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/269060#issuecomment-1837213807 for a partial list of projects needing similar patches), so 2.12.3 reintroduced the cyclic reference between headers. The patch is therefore not strictly necessary any more. But it is probably still a good idea to include proper header for each symbol rather than relying on transitive includes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158843 Bug ID: 158843 Summary: merging the po files of a translation would reduce the total size of mo files and the MSI archive size Product: LibreOffice Version: 24.8.0.0 alpha0+ Master Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Localization Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: jerome.bo...@laposte.net For example, in french translation, there are 33 ".mo" files in the main MSI archive. If we could merge those mo files, we could possibly avoid duplicate translation. In addition, a single mo file for this translation would be better compressed into the MSI main archive (one compression per file). This would require you to manually merge the po files or to use an automatic tool (msgmerge or msgcat?) to generate a single temporary po file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Those crashes keep happening with latest main build resulting in slow startups (beachball showing for ~30 seconds until macOS crash report pops up) making LO frustrating and inefficient to use. We are now at gpgme 1.23.2: https://git.gnupg.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=gpgme.git Still wondering if updating gpgme would be worth a try. I am beginning to think that the crash here has the same cause as https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156352 which also is reproducible and crashes since save as dialog was fixed on macOS back in July 2023. It seems any OpenPGP operation or interaction with gpgme crashes LO. Was there some testing on macOS for this? If so, which version combination (gpgme, LO, macOS) is known to be functional. You can see this in use on the alternate View -> Toolbars 'Formatting (Styles)' toolbar, the "A" icon with tooltip "Remove applied character style". Likewise on the Styles menu. It can also be assigned by Tools -> Customize... dialog as a Keyboard or Context menu shortcut. Just note that it is held with other 'Style' -> 'Character' category functions. Guess there could be benefit to implementing a style toggle (apply|remove) for the current TB buttons for users of the 'Formatting (Styles)' and if that provided a hook for keyboard, menu customization even better. But italic and bold are easier to use because the keys to invoke them toggle whereas keys assigned for styles do not. Suppose, for example, I assign Ctrl-I to "." If while typing I type Ctrl-I, the following text will be emphasized, as expected. But, contrary to expectations, typing Ctrl-I will not return me to non-emphasized text. The same with selected text: Ctrl-I will emphasize it, but a second Ctrl-I will not remove the emphasis. I suggest that the keys assigned to these styles should toggle, so that (using the same example) Ctrl-I works with the same way it works with italic. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
