My action is as follows: How to Get Around It: To begin, launch Writer and go to "Tools > Options > Language Settings > Language" to enable CJK and Complex. "Styles > Manage Styles" (or hit F11) is the second step. Move the cursor to the Default Paragraph Style and then click the "Modify" button. Fourth, on the Font tab, manually adjust the Western and CJK font widths to 10.5pt or 12pt, whichever you want. Now that I've made these adjustments, the Western and CJK font sizes are identical and reflect the value I entered. For the time being, this workaround will keep the Western and CJK default font sizes aligned, but in an ideal world, they would automatically be the same. Even in the most recent master build, this problem has been there since version 6.1. Gnome is installed on Fedora 34. tested at https://atlasdoorrepair.com/ This problem has been around since at least version 6.1, and it continues to be a problem in the master build that is currently being used. We only have to set it once in "Options", but it is not desirable as the default value. In this case, we need to be aware of not only "Default" but also "Heading", "List", "Caption", "Index" set in "Tools> Options> Writer> Basic Fonts (Western / Asian / CTL)", I think. Currently, "List", "Caption", and "Index" are set to 12pt even in "Asian". So, the characters will be larger than "Default Paragraph Style" and "Text Body" when we use each paragraph style. There is an idea that it is okay because they are styles those makes texts stand out. But that idea is different from the standard settings of Western and CTL. 10.5pt (or 10.6pt) is the font size traditionally used as a standard in Japan too. However, in recent years, the commonly used paper size has been replaced from B5 (JIS) to A4, and I think that the number of people who are particular in 10.5pt is decreasing. As mentioned in Comment 8 of Bug 115970, we are increasingly using 11pt and 12pt. >From such a situation, I think it would be better to unify to 12pt for the time being.
