The issue is only relevant on environments that use space extensively, namely gtk3. Without excessive font scaling, the Properties dialog fits without issue additional fields and action buttons are visible in the ~637px dialog. One solution could be to organize the items in two columns, another to have a scrolled window behind (which makes it a bit difficult to size the dialog correctly for larger screens).
